After a full day of shuttling to the two lakes, we decided to eat here before heading back to Banff where we were staying. The seating is upstairs and it was busy. We were seated almost immediately but we asked if they could clear a booth for us and they were very accommodating. We started with the Greek salad which we split. I can't imagine how big the larger version was. Splitting it was a perfect amount of food. It was full of fresh veggies. I would have preferred more cucumbers and less onions and peppers and Kalamata olives over black olives but still good. We had a build your own with pepperoni, black olives, and half sausage pizza. Your price includes 3 toppings but we opted to half the last one. Pizza was good. Thin with puffy edges and lots of toppings. Tasted wood fire grilled but not sure if it was. Only comes in one size and the two of us had two pieces left. Service was good though it took a bit of time before our first visit. After we placed our order, service was very attentive. Comedically bad tiramisu! Can one even call this tiramisu? To be fair, they did call it "tiramisu fresco". There sadly aren't many other restaurants in the area as well. * Tiramisu (1/5 stars) The ladyfingers weren't soaked at all and still retained a crunch. No coffee flavor could be detected and the cream was purely whipped cream, no mascarpone. It looked like they had literally assembled it minutes before on the same plate. * Pineapple Rose Tres Leche (3/5) A seasonal dish! Flavor is super good, but once again, not the usual take on tres leche. The cake itself hasn't been given enough time to soak into the milk, so each bite was much better with an additional dip into the milk. The pineapple pieces are alright, but I don't think it's necessary. * Brownie (2/5) Super wet and fudgey, almost tastes like it wasn't baked all the way? What a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting much from this place because I'm always suspicious of Italian restaurants in North America, especially because I'm Italian and Italian food around here is usually not even close to the real deal. I have to say that this place, while still quite far from the real deal, delivered an above average experience, and even the sauce flavors, which were not authentic, were pleasant and enjoyable. The Wagyu meatballs were very good, the sauce was a bit too reduced and thick, with the distinctive North American flavors, but good. The lasagna was similar in taste to the meatballs, not quite an Italian lasagna, but good nonetheless. The pizza was definitely not Neapolitan, despite the name, but it was very good, very crispy crust. Maybe a bit stingy on the mozzarella and lacking some salt, but definitely above average. The custard croissant dessert was also very good. Service was courteous and fast, despite the place being very busy. Very casual and family friendly atmosphere. A hidden gem in the town of lake Louise. Was staying at the lake Louise inn and this place it one of the restaurants located on site. Stopped by for dinner and was blown away. Service was fast and welcoming. The vibes were chill and they at least had a tv so I could keep track of scores. And the food was excellent, definitely one of the best meals I had while visiting Banff national park. The food here was one of the best in the area banff&lake Louise. The pizzas a tasty, light with creative delicious topping combinations. The bbq chicken pizza was the perfect balance of tender chicken and bacon, bbq sauce was sweet and tangy and onions were paired perfectly. Would recommend and would order again. The Wagyu meatballs were tender juicy and flavorful, it came with garlic bread which was cheesy garlicky and crispy with marinara that was so good. Spent 4 days in Banff/lake Louise and this is one of the places I'd definitely come back to and would recommend. read more

Food was so so. Menu on Yelp is outdated. Had the Alfredo and the sauce was broken into an oily mess. No bread or anything with the meal. Ordered garlic bread and it came out soggy. The waiter took our order and came back with an incorrect dish and "corrected me" when I said this was not what I ordered. I did not have time to argue and I kept the dish but made it very clear I was unhappy. Luckily my wife was not pleased with the beef stroganoff and so I gave her the fettuccine Alfredo fresco that I was served. Great restaurant to visit after a long day of hiking! They have the comforting pizza and pasta options to fill you up and fulfill your cravings. They don't take reservations but we were able to get a table for 4 within 20mins. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was delicious! Not only did it come with a tender breaded chicken breast topped with marinara and Mozzarella, but Alfredo pasta and season veggies. A great mix of flavors that are all cooked perfectly. Convenient location for those who had a long day and just want to eat someone good and fulfilling near the hotel! Timberwolf is located inside Lake Louise Inn, on the 2nd floor. Since it's located inside a hotel with lots of guests, and with the restaurant options being fairly limited in Lake Louise Village, there's a line usually. My family waited ~30 minutes before we got seated, which was just perfect for us to get changed, relax in our hotel room before heading back to the restaurant. Located right in the lake Louise Inn, we came here for a low key dinner after a full day of hiking and it was perfect before hitting the hot tub! The bartender was absolutely on fire as the restaurant got packed and he was not only making drinks left & right, but he also helped wait staff and delivered drinks/cashed people out (they were slightly understaffed) The pizza was hot, fresh and cheesy and we got a side Greek salad to share (the server was nice and said for 2 that the small size would be good). To top it all off, they had the toronto raptors playoff game on the TV! Raps lost, but it was a great atmosphere to catch the game and have a few beers & pizza. If you come here, get the pizza which are freshly baked. We made the mistake of ordering chicken parmesan which was half cold & half warm. It was likely microwave reheated.
