I had the Spanish Omelette (no cheese), sourdough toast with some hot tea and my partner had the #1 Breakfast Special with sausage, wheat toast and a decaf coffee. I loved everything about my plate. Unfortunately he didn't enjoy his coffee or the sausages. The space is roomy with tables in the middle and spacious booths all around. There was a good steady amount of patrons for a Sunday morning but not overwhelming thankfully. Parking was limited. Service was awesome. We had our food walked up to us instead of having to pick it up ourselves at the counter. One of the ladies even came up and asked if everything was ok and helped to clear our table. I use to absolutely love this place with all my heart, took mental health breaks here just to relax and eat their food and even recommended them to people. Yesterday I ordered chili cheese fries with pickled jalapeños on the side but when she gave me my plate it had a bunch of jalapeños on top of the fries and the whole plate was soaked in jalapeño juice. Normally the chili cheese fries are good but it just tasted so off I just threw the food away. Not even 10 minutes later I'm vomiting my guts out and hours later after not eating anything at all my stomach acid was a dark grey/green color. This girl charged me $2 extra for avocado and $2 extra for bacon when the combo comes with both already. I ended up paying $17+ change for the combo. I know it was not correct. I think I stopped by here on the way to the Promenade at Downey. The little mom & pop diner is in a very remote little area with one way entrance/exit to their private parking lot. The only thing I would recommend getting is their double cheese burger that is more luxe than a Big Mac. Like the Mickey D's version, it got a sesame bun, but a more fulfilling patties and cheese between the buns. As I pointed out, it's a very remote place situated around residential area and a high school. However, it seemed to draw a tons of locals who love their burgers and fries.
