Rule # 2 of Mexican food If you are offered a salad as a side dish this isn't anything even close to authentic Mexican. You WILL be furiously disappointed. The correct course of action... the only course of action, is to say thank you and walk out. I know these rules because I invented these rules. I believe in these rules because they have held true in several cities in a variety of states over many years. There is no use in fighting. The rules are the rules. So when the girl asked what dressing I'd like on my salad why didn't I walk? Um, because I'm an idiot? An idiot that was hungry and somehow hoped that this would be the one exception to the rule. No. The rules are the rules. At least 10% of the meat was gristle including one full, chewy, fatty, rather distasteful bite. The salsa was strangely sweet and inedible. The spicy carrots tasted like the can had sat punctured for several weeks on some shelf before the owners opened it and offered up it's contaminated contents to us it's treasured customers. So my dear fellow Yelpers the pain has already been endured. Consider this warning and head to safer culinary options in ANY other direction. Also, the restaurant is always very clean, and the lights outside are really cute at night (just an observation; details matter!) I've only had their cheeseburgers, fries, and onion rings, but my friend has had their tacos and other things and he said they were all really good. The fries are well seasoned, and you get a good amount of them (this matters to me ok). Service is quick, but you will wait a few minutes for your order, which I don't mind because everything is freshly made and the quality is definitely there. I guess you can also call ahead, but I never mind waiting. It's difficult to find a place like this with good ratings, and there's a reason why this place has the ratings that it does. This places makes really good burgers they are better then a lot of other burger places in my opinion. But it's really nasty how these cooks at these burger restaurants touch your food with no gloves. Even if they wash there hands it's still nasty. I really hope this changes because this is the second burger place I see the cook touching raw meat and bread with no gloves. Not only because of covid but also because it's nasty !! This place use to be good but I don't know what happened. Maybe a new cook or something? Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries. The chili was extra salty and they also ran out of yellow peppers. The burgers were horrible; they had way too much lettuce, the cheese wasn't even melted on the patties, no pickles... horrible. This review is based on the hamburger. It's delicious! Most burger joints do not have fresh buns. They got the best buns and their sauce and meat is delicious.
