Exactly what you'd expect.....a local bar that on your average day contains mostly middle aged males. Though I'm a guy, I've never saw any female disrespected beyond anything experienced in other BR bars. Nevertheless I'm sure some drunk asshole has misbehaved sometime in the past. Anyway, Time Out is a good local bar that makes it easy to grab a drink and watch the game. Beautiful wooden plank bar top with a large wooden rail. Perfect for resting your forearms during a 3 hours football game. The heavily padded stools with back support also encourage long visits. Round steel or cast pipe foot rest. Bar back is mainly bottle shelves and includes three large HDTVs Other HDTVs, some larger throughout the bar. No NFL Sunday ticket, so you will only get what is on the local channels or ESPN. Bar shape is mostly straight, but does include a unique island on the east side that makes playing cards or socializing east. Concrete floor and several lower eating tables opposite the bar. Decor is your typical bar swag. Beyond the bar is a bowling game, pool table and dart machine. Laid back local bar with good service.

Hamburger with fries and a tenderloin very good I must say

From the moment I walked in, I was obsessed with the atmosphere and all the thoughtful details that make the space feel so unique. I love that it effortlessly transforms from a cozy coffee shop by day into a cocktail bar at night--the vibes are immaculate no matter when you visit. The staff was exceptional and so helpful in walking me through the menu. One of my favorite things to do is ask the baristas what they recommend, and they definitely didn't disappoint. I went with a blueberry vanilla iced latte, and it was the perfect way to kick off my Friday.

Some were quietly relaxing while others were catching up over drinks. The coffeehouse-meets-cocktail-bar aesthetic is well executed and gives the space a distinct personality. I ordered the nonalcoholic Basil Needs a Break, and it was excellent. If you like basil, this drink definitely delivers. It was bright, refreshing, and very basil-forward. The service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature inside. It was nearly 100 degrees outside, but the bar felt warm with very little air circulation. It was almost refreshing to step back into the muggy heat after leaving, which probably isn't the feeling you're hoping to give your guests. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and atmosphere, but I'd hope for a cooler temp next time.

The wings were very good... & I'm not a huge fan of buffalo wings. The chipotle dry rub was fantastic paired with the ranch sauce. The tenderloin sandwich may have been one of the best I've ever had. It was perfectly breaded, & so thick. It was also twice the size of my bun ... which is exactly how it's supposed to be. Fries were pretty good & plentiful. My SO ordered the crab cakes sandwiches and it looked good ... it disappeared quickly. I forgot to take pictures of the food before it was eaten. I wish this place was on the way home from work but I'll continue to make the effort to go there again soon because it was so good.

As we were leaving we noticed someone had reserved their party room. This would be a great place to host a private dinner. The Brussel sprouts were so good! I need to learn how to make them at home. The ambiance varies by the day and whether you're going in the day time or evening. This was super convenient because they wouldn't sit us until the whole party was there. They gave us a buzzer, but not really sure if it was really activated or what. I think we could have tried to wait inside, but it was busy and crowded so my truck was a better option since it was too cold to wait outside. When the whole party was there, we finally got a both table in the back which was like the covered patio area but they had warmer flames so it was nice and heated. These were adjustable, and some in our party took advantage of that as it got too hot. We ordered hooka and the lady brought it to the table and she didn't even start it. Hooka was $31 and you get to choose a flavor, we had tropical punch and it was good. We got fries to go with our drinks and they were decent. The drink I got was the casamigos lemonade in peach flavor and it was good. I don't feel like the drink was very strong though and it was $14. My husband got the strawberry casamigos lemonade and he said it was good too. They had a DJ in the back and a DJ in the front, they played different music. 2 restrooms are located near the entrance, which can be a hassle when it's busy. We noticed after we got home that they charged our card twice for our order, so I'd make sure to check that out.

Chicken Wellington - the pastry dough was as buttery as biscuits. Broth was a bit one dimensional to me. I thought my soba noodles were gonna be the brown ones but they were thicker like ramen white noodles The herbs really captured the pho broth well. I feel like with food fusion, I noticed a lot of things do end up getting misspelled but I noticed the accent and spelling were all correct on the menu. Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Since I wasn't driving, he happily assisted me in...staying hydrated. The place was busy enough that we couldn't stand around chatting long, but he's the kind of person you'd genuinely enjoy running into again. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been consistently great. Whether you're stopping in to catch the game, escape the cold on the heated patio, or simply satisfy a craving for those ridiculously good breadsticks, Ale Emporium continues to be one of our favorite spots. Just don't skip the breadsticks...and trust me, order your own cheese. You'll understand after the first bite.
