The team clearly takes pride in the guest experience. That said, we were really looking forward to having a margarita, which made it surprising (and a bit disappointing) that no liquor was being served during our visit. There wasn't any explanation offered, which added to the confusion. It felt a little ironic given the name. Overall, it didn't ruin the experience, but it definitely stood out. We'd be open to going back and giving it another try--hopefully with margaritas on the table next time.

He always recognizes us right away and used to know our regular orders by heart--until we went back to eating KETO! It takes a little creativity, but it's definitely possible to eat healthy here. My go-to is the Chipotle Fajitas without tortillas, rice, or beans. They come out sizzling hot and loaded with flavor. I'll sometimes add a drizzle of their cheese sauce on top, and it's perfection. They recently updated the tabletops and the whole restaurant has a beautiful, authentic Mexican feel. The dining room is massive, making it ideal for large groups. I've seen them easily combine tables for parties of 15-20 people. They usually have upbeat Latin music playing, and on Friday and Saturday nights, there's live music. I'd be thrilled if they ever brought in a mariachi band! Best of all, they're open every day and stay open late. If you're craving great Mexican food, Tequila's is the place to go.

Additionally, they have a rotating daily lunch special for $13 which comes with sweet/unsweet tea or water. Typically there are two protein selections with two sides. I ordered the meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. Overall, the lunch was very good. Service was very fast and friendly. The ambience of the restaurant is similar to an old style diner. It's a little dated but quaint. This restaurant has been under new management foand has changed the name.

I like to sample a variety, so I went with the Bobby's Usual of brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and pulled pork with Bobo's Hot Corn + Hillbilly Beans. He offered onions, pickles, and jalapeños as side condiments along with their homemade BBQ sauce. I initially sampled the meats without sauce, but I have to say the sweet/smoky flavor of the sauce is a great compliment to the meats. You can tell Bobby learned his trade from Texas...solid brisket with a thin fat cap with a nice peppery crust. The pulled pork was perfect...moist and tender but still maintaining firmness. While the sausage is not made in-house, you could have fooled me. Nice crispy skin with a good jalapeño kick and plenty of cheese. The sides are exceptional! I loved the sweetness of the beans, and the Bobo Corn (I believe it's grandma's recipe) was addicting. Don't let the name fool you...there's a little heat, but the flavors are wonderful. I chopped a bit of onion and pork into the beans, a great flavor combination. The atmosphere is bright and open with some Texas decor...great place for family.
