found an electric GE 416 in a Goodwill. it was missing the dial glass. searched the internet for a replacement, but everyone who had it was either WAY to expensive or their website was garbage. found timsavers website and they appeared to have the dial glass I need. I then noticed they are local and went down there with the clock. the dial glass was the correct one and the price was quite affordable. had no problem installing the glass myself. read more

I use Timesavers for most of my clock repair materials. They always have great customer service, the shipping isn't really that bad. They are always very fast to have my supplies shipped out. They do charge a $5 small handling fee if you order anything under $20, so I try to keep all of my orders over $20. On the very rare occasion that I do receive a damaged item, they have always had a new on in the mail on the same day, with no charge. They must have upped their game even more because their small order charge dropped from $5 to $3.50! Nice. I agree with the other two 5 Star ratings wholeheartedly. I did have some trouble mostly due to my own inexperience, especially with confusing Swiss and USA size standards. I ordered the wrong item, and got it sorted out. I also had an item show up stamped correctly with the sizes ordered, but the actual measurements were not as expected. Timesavers did the right thing and double-checked the replacement part they promised to send out right away at no charge. The item I received was simply a manufacturing defect. Better than expected customer service! Great products, great prices, and outstanding customer service. I have had the luxury and good fortune of doing business with Steve and the Girls for over 20 years. I own and run a full service clock restoration business in Phoenix which means a lot of parts get ordered. Sometimes the order due to my incompetence, sometimes or let's say just a mistake the order gets screw up and that's where their customer service is outstanding and appreciated in a world where most businesses have forgotten the first rule of doing business. I live local and called to see if they had a piece to wind it... I was told I was welcome to come and sort through a bag to see if one fit.... found one that did. Asked how much it would cost. Over priced, cheap, and poor customer service. After just a year of service the replacement motor quit. The internal gear mechanism quit because they use cheap parts. But, the price wasn't cheap. So I sent them an email. I took photos to show how it was installed and to show no groove was present. They asked me to send it in (at my expense) which I did. They left a message saying the gear had a groove but like I said the photo clearly showed that wasn't true. They just didn't want to stand behind their product so they lied. read more

I ordered some aerosol spray can heads through Timesavers. The total order was $18.36.... $12 for the parts plus $3.50 for a 'small order service charge' plus $2.86 for shipping and handling. Unfortunately, the aerosol spray heads did not fit properly so I had to return them. Timesavers only refunded me the cost of the heads ($12) minus a $3 restocking fee for a total refund of $9. If you add in what I had to pay for return shipping ($2.50) that makes a total cost to me of $21. A total refund of $9 on a cost of $21 isn't very good customer service in my opinion. read more

Ordered small items from Timesavers sometime ago but no news on the delivery status after more than a month. Wrote in to ask for status but was just given a tracking number. No effort put in to find out what went wrong. Very poor customer service standard. I checked the tracking history and noticed the items were returned to US due to incorrect address. Wrote in to Timesavers again and was told either incomplete address or part of the address was unreadable. Couldn't they look at the physical item and be frank of what was the actual problem? No apologies given for the mistake and delay. Just reship and give another tracking number. No confidence at all if they will get it right this time round. read more

Great selection of parts but less than stellar customer service. Parts orders frequently contain incorrect parts and instructions regarding "contact prior to shipping" are largely ignored. These guys are basically the only 'show in town" for many of these parts here in the USA. I would encourage them to up their game and start paying more attention to the details..... read more
