I first came to cape cod to visit five years ago and tried Timmy's Roast Beef for the first time. The food is amazing!! I recently came back and tried the Super Pastrami sandwich on a sweet onion roll and OMG...I like this better then the Roast Beef. Also, the onion rings are the best I've ever had anywhere. Went with my coworker to try out Timmy's Roast Beef. I'm not a huge fan of roast beef sandwiches, but this was a local joint in Hyannis and my coworker was raving about it. Got the junior size roast beef with BBQ sauce and horseradish. Came on a generic sesame bun. Roast beef was pretty tender, could have used a little bit more of BBQ and horseradish. I have heard great things about Timmy's Roast Beef I went with my aunt and uncle and it was a fun experience. But I ordered the chicken tenders (yes it may have been my fault ordering chicken at a roast beef place) but the chicken tenders were awful they were incredibly dry and had an awkward texture. This place is a simple little roadside roast beef joint. Counter service. There are tables outside that you can sit a eat. Nothing fancy here. JUST SOLID ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES. I saw that it had very good reviews on YELP. And I was so satisfied with my roast beef sandwich with their special bbq sauce and a little mayo on an onion bun, that I almost inhaled the sandwich in one bite! Thinly sliced, perfectly cooked, tender layers of warm roast beef OMG! Two dogs in the car while I was eating this take-out meal kind of made my experience a little frightening.... The guys here must think they are better than the rest of us. Everyone coming and going, all masked up- the "cook" and fry cook/cashier- no mask. Not to mention- he was taking payments, using his phone, and handling food all without gloves, and or washing his hands. Roast beef was fresh and super tender. I ordered my roast beef with BBQ sauce and horseradish on sandwich. My only 'beef' is three things: 1) It needed more bbq sauce. Very little on sandwich. 2) Could have used more horseradish sauce. Was barely recognizable. 3) Toasting the bun would be a nice touch also. Would I go again? In the 40 years coming to the Cape, we have often passed Timmy's and wondered how the roast beef was. This year we took the plunge and were glad we did. The guys behind the counter were very friendly and ensured we knew all our choices. Being purists and trying the RB for the first time, we had it plain on a roll (I had mayo on the side). We also had the onion rings which were light with a delicate coating and delicious! None of that hard-to-chew onion under the coating. The RB was warm, tender and delicious! When we go again (and yes, we will make this a several-stops destination for a quick bite during our stays), I am going to have Worcestershire sauce on my sandwich! Topped it off with a Stewart's cherry soda. If you like good RB, you have to give them a try!! read more

We took a chance - let's just say don't pass this place up! Quick service, cash or credit and the yummiest thin sliced roast beef - plain, with or without cheese, with or without bbq or horseradish my family were VERY happy with their RB sandwiches and pastrami! Onion rings might have been better if we dug into them hot off the frier; a little saltier than my taste buds normally like but a huge portion of thin sliced lightly floured rings made for a nice complement to the sandwiches. Super delicious food, really great staff too. The chef was very accommodating to my pescatarian partner when they weren't serving eggplant anymore and even threw in a few onion rings for us to try. The food was delicious, we got a grilled cheese with tomato, a pastrami sub, broccoli bites and the bonus onion rings and everything just hit the spot. Used their Cape Cod Daily Deal voucher there after staring at the place for months from my work down the street. Not a big roast beef guy, but ordered one of the better meatball subs I've had in a while down here on the Cape. The sauce was perfect and the sub roll was fresh. My husband and I just made the mistake of ordering just a regular roast beef sandwich... The mistake was we split it. This sandwich was not meant to be split but to be orders at least as a super or mega. Forget the junior size. The roast beef was so tender and still pink. They give it to you on a sod sesame bun and comes out nice and warm. We for their house made horseradish, American cheese (which was perfectly melted) lettuce and tomato. They suggest we get their BBQ sauce but was hesitant so they get gave it to us on the side. Second rookie mistAke. DEFIANTLY GET the BBQ sauce on it. It's tangly and delish. Best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. Once you have had one, you will never eat one anywhere else.

We have this place on Route 28 in Yarmouth for decades but never stopped. Today, we planned a stop there and even though we were there a tad early for lunch (about 11:30 am), we were not disappointed with our choice. We both had junior roast beef sandwiches, both with homemade horseradish sauce, one with pickles. We also split a small order of fried onion rings. Enjoying our lunch in front on one of the picnic tables we were impressed with the quality and flavor of the roast beef (freshly sliced) along with the crispiness and taste of the onion rings. The owner is a pistol, engaging and chatty. He's been at this for some 40 years and he certainly knows his craft. Upon leaving I went back inside to give him two thumbs up and to tell him how much we enjoyed everything. In telling him we would back he said, "wait until you taste the pastrami."
