All new office staff came with the new dentist (Dr Moates) and they are not kind nor professional. My daughter had a composite put on her front tooth for covering a hypoplasia spot. Dr Moates said it was a simple fix and was absolutely positive it would cover the discoloration. He began to grind down the area and added the composite then grinded it again to smooth it down which took off the composite color that he had added. He looked at me and said "sorry I thought it was going to work but she can come back and I'll try it again". He never once asked my daughter if she could feel it when he was grinding on the tooth and she later told me she could so of course she's frightened to go back for him to "try it again". During my visit- he voiced his opinion that he did not agree with the small piece of wiring (permanent retainer) put in by Dr Sellepan, after having Invisalign, so he refused to re-do it and referred me to an orthodontist because he said he doesn't do that type of stuff. I called the office about 15 min later -regarding the experience my daughter had and that I thought it was unfair my insurance was charged and I had to pay a fee on top of it. I asked to speak to the office manager, the office staff blatantly lied and said she had left an hour ago- when she was there before we had left. She told me she would have her call me back, which never happened. I called the next week, the office manager was kind and said she would file a dispute but she doubted it would go anywhere because the service was provided even though the outcome wasn't what the dentist so confidently claimed would work. She said she'd call me back when she got a response about the dispute and she never did. I will never go back to that office for the lack of professionalism of staff and poor care of the dentist.

Greenberg quote reflects an additional fictitious code D1111 called Cosmetic upgrade $500. When I questioned this charge, I got two different answers from two locations. The first stated that the Doctor would not do the crown for $400! The other one stated that it is an insurance in the events it falls, the doctor will replace it. In other words, an insurance for my insurance premium! Unfortunately, Delta Dental keeps listing Greenberg as a provider despite my filed grievances. Fortunately, I found another provider with 40 years of experience honoring my insurance fees.

Because it's "Thank You Thursday" on YELP and I had some major work done today by Dr. Dave, who is my regular dentist and has been taking good care of me for more than a decade, at beyond reasonable prices as I don't have insurance or much money for the type of work I need. His awesome assistant, Janet was on a well-deserved vacation, so I had the pleasure of Dr. Steve's wonderful assistant, Maria, who without knowing it helped to ease the pain of a rather complicated procedure by distracting my nerves, like stepping on my toe but without the pain Thanks, Tracy for always getting back to me promptly, managing to schedule me in, and putting up with my PITA whining at checkout I'm so fortunate to have gotten my place there and Dr. David keeping me as a patient. Her approach is calm and informative. Her office does not push any unnecessary procedures. I had an extraction, plus a forty year old front crown replaced recently.
