Tim is a great guy! I texted him after listening to his voicemail recording with my inquiry for a fireplace repair. He was nice enough to respond with a phone call to learn more even though he doesn't do this kind of work. This was all while he was handling a power outage at home, getting his kids and juggling them at the grocery store. I later sent some photos to him along with a previous inspection report and he basically told me the condition (in a much more detailed pages long text) that the guy I paid to do the inspection never told me in a way I could understand. He also made suggestions on what I could do and how to keep things functional and retain some appeal. All in all a great guy who seems to go above and beyond. Tim came to clean a wood stove at a rental on our property. The previous tenant had burned a LOT of trash in the stove. The pipes were so old and corroded that he said he could not understand how the rental had not burned down years ago. Tim spent two hours breaking off creosote and corrosion from the top pipe. He also did an excellent job on the wood stove in our home. While he was there, he got a phone call from the person who gave him the one-star rating. He spent 20 minutes looking in his phone for the number and the calendar and did not find any such appointment. He also looked in his day planner and did not see any such number or appointment written down. I am sure the irate customer just called the wrong person in the first place. Time made sure we got Eric Crumley to come out and replace everything from stove to roof within 2 days. The day of the appointment he turned up right on time, he was careful and considerate of the furniture and my dogs well being. The work was conducted in a quiet and clean and careful manner. Tim contacted me on the day of my appointment to make sure I was still planning for him to come. He showed up just when he said he would. And he actually took off his shoes before he entered the house-I didn't ask him to that's just part of his great service.
