We contracted with A Aart's & Tim's Quality Pluming to replace a water heater. They said it would be $1,700 for the water heater, installation, disposal of old water heater and the necessary permit from the city. It was not delivered when it was supposed to be, so after calls to the plumbing company we arranged a delivery the next day. When we arrived for the delivery, it was sitting on the sidewalk. Mike, the plumber, said he could not get the water heater into the basement because the company would not provide him a dolly Mike said he had been working with the company only two weeks but had been a plumber for more than twenty years. Mike performed the work and it was performed well. The old heater was left in the basement to drain and Mike said he would be back with another guy the next day to pick it up and dispose of it. After going back and forth a few times, the company said they just couldn't find time in the next few days to get the old one out of the basement so another company could pick it up. Finally, Mike and my husband went to the basement and got the old water heater out to the sidewalk where we were assured that it would be picked up the next day. Three days later, it had still not been picked up despite repeated phone calls and promises. We finally had to dispose of it ourselves. No call from the company asking where the water heater was, so safe to say they never came back. Another surprise when we had a property inspection two weeks later - no permit had ever been applied for. When we called Aart's, they said they had not applied for it but would do so. I am not sure if this is a regular occurrence or not, but it didn't seem out of the ordinary when we asked them about it (not to apply for permits). Back and forth a few times and then we finally received a copy of the permit. I would never do business with this company again - the most unprofessional I have ever worked with. The following review is for Sean Harris. I had my home built in Maple Grove in 1986. Being widowed, I never had anyone who could keep up on my repairs and/or updates regarding my plumbing issues. Sean came out last fall for the first time and did repair my front yard outside faucet that was dripping. This spring when turning my outside faucets, the front faucet was still dripping. At the time of booking an appointment for Sean to return and repair the faucet, I also booked for him to check out my sump pump (it was the original one from when the house. In the last months, I have had Sean out to replace that outside faucet, replace my sump pump, replace both outdated toilets, and do a repair in the shower in the lower-level bathroom. Each time, Sean gave me the price for each repair/replacement. He always very professional and polite. Since I am battling cancer, he was very cautious to wear a mask. I've been using Tim's Quality Plumbing for about 30 yrs! I have never been disappointed. All the plumbers that have come to our house for whatever reason ( kitchen remodel, plugged drains, replaced outdoor water spout, installation of new toilets, new faucets, leaking pipes, water softener installation, etc.) have been excellent! I usually can get a plumber to come out within 24 hrs. We even had a plumbing issue on Christmas Eve one year and got a response that evening. I really liked Mark who did some specialty plumbing when we had our kitchen remodeled. Lonnie and Shawn have been excellent plumbers. They take the time to explain things to you as well as keep a pretty neat work area. Recently I had Paul clean out a drain. He was very thorough and friendly explaining what he was doing. Even showed me the results! Lonnie installed a new faucet and even cleaned up my ceramic sink they had lots of residue from hard water that we get in Plymouth. I originally called a plumber due to slow drainage in out kitchen sink. Paul came out Monday and "snaked" the drains removing any all gunk. While executing that process, he noticed a hole in the pipe. Unable to patch the hole, we scheduled another appointment. Due to prior committments on Tuedsay, the follow-up had to be delayed until the next day (Wednesday). Lonn arrived in the morning, surveyed the extent of the damage and provided an estimate. After getting a "go-ahead" for one of the two options (I chose a cheaper alternative), he began the work. During the pipe-replacement process, he made a couple suggestions that I deemed necessary -- this led to a little extra time and effort (new drains and shut-off valves). All in all, he spent almost 4 hours working. Given the amount of work, the final bill was more than reasonable. Needless to say, my wife and I were very pleased with the results. I started my morning with a call from my rental tenant that the hot water heater had gone out again. Being that I live in Montana i jumped on yelp looking for someone close that could help. Tim's was the first one back to me! In less than 10 minutes no less! Upon hearing my dilemma, Ashley, one of their fine dispatchers jumped int action and had someone at the house within a couple of hours (awesome). Shortly thereafter i had a call from the plumber on site who explained the situation. I decided to go ahead and replace the unit, hoping that it could get done by Friday fingers crossed. He told me to call dispatch and they would advise. I did and Ashley came through again and said they could have it installed by the end of the day!! I needed a shower drain repaired/replaced. My plumber was Mark, who has been in the trade 40+ years. It was a complex job because the builder (25 years ago) had gotten away with some ridiculously crappy workarounds because a truss was partly blocking access. Mark diagnosed the situation and explained the options he was weighing. He could have just made the plumbing operable, at a significantly lower cost, but we agreed that fixing the workaround and doing the job correctly was the best choice. His work was extremely professional, and he even installed shut-off valves in the access area to make life much easier on the next guy. Previous to finding A Aart's & Tim's Plumbing I was very concerned that I would not be able to get my plumbing needs handled. I have used both Lon and Mark and feel that they are the best in the Metropolitan area if not the whole state. There is no doubt in my mind that if I ever have a issue that requires a plumber this is the company I will contact. I live in a 20 year old townhouse and they have helped deal with the water shut off for the whole unit and a leaking faucet living behind the washing machine. Delivery of the new heater and disposal of the old one was included along with the installation. had a problem with a faucet in the garage,the stem for the handle was stripped.Lonn came out right when he said he would.he checked everything out and said he had to put on the new pipe in the crawl space where it was attached to the water pipe and would have to shut off the water.He got his tools and got to work was here for about a hour or so.I tried the faucet and it worked great.He also tested the water and was soft and we needed to fill the tank.He was very nice and did a great job.I would call again if I needed a plumber. thanks sue U. read more

Our technician, Mark, was knowledgeable, explained the problem and gave us an accurate estimate of the cost.
