First time here and probably won't return. Tin Cup has a lot going for it. It's right on the golf course and it's three minutes away from my best friend's house. They have keno which is another big plus. I got an order of wings and thought it had to be a joke. Seven tiny little wings. So tiny it was the length and width of my thumb. You have to be kidding me? $14 for seven tiny wings? Yes they were good but they were also done in five bites and I was still a little hungry after. My friend had the Cobb salad with a chicken breast on top. It looked good and he said it was good. I don't know if I just got the one thing on the menu that wasn't spectacular but there's too many other places that are a better value. Drinks were also pretty expensive. Well vodka @ $8.50 a drink. There's too many other choices in the area like Wintergarden Tavern or even the Wagon Wheel in Northville that has better prices and better food. Not sure I'll be visiting here again. read more

Overall, everyone was happy with their meals and service was excellent. The only item that was just so-so was the side salad (limp spring mix greens with some cucumbers, cheese & croutons) and the Southwest wrap needed like a side of salsa or some seasoning on the chicken to add more flavor. I got the chicken breast dinner with Cajun rub (very flavorful!! the SW wrap could use some of that rub!) and was pleased as the chicken was very moist. There was plenty of TVs and of course this place caters to the golfers so plenty of beer etc. Overall very good experience! read more

Calling all ranch lovers, you will want to bathe in their homemade ranch! Honestly this place has the best BLT pizza in town! Which makes me feel like we will be back. But it's hard to say because our pizza did have a twist tie stick in the crust. Pure neglect. We let our waitress know. She didn't seem very surprised and just explained that the bread bags are right next to where they make the pizza. Not sure why that would be acceptable. Hence the three star review. We ate here on a Sunday night. Very few people were there - that should have been the first clue. I ordered a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was sub par. The meat must have been a very low quality. I sent it back and ordered the Mac and cheese. I think Kraft does it better. I will never return for a meal. So disappointing! read more

We know we can always get a good meal at Tin Cup! You can tell they care about the food they serve there. I've never had a bad meal at Tin Cup! The pizzas are tasty, the burgers are amazing, & the family recipe stuffed cabbage on Fridays are one of the many reasons we go there. The views are ridiculously beautiful. You can sit on the patio, enjoy the fresh air, and watch golfers working on their long and short game. They also have live bands, karaoke, games, you name it! It's a great addition to the area. If they were not attached to the golf course you couldn't pay people to dine here. Tables are virtually empty when the course is packed with golfers. I ordered fish tacos. Was out for St. Patrick's Day and decided to stop in lunchtime to meet my friend. Most of the tables were put together and reserved. I did find a small table and was told I could sit at it. After a few drinks, while waiting for my friend and husband, the owner approached me and asked me when I was l leaving. Mind you, most tables were still empty. I explained that I was was waiting on a few people . She then told me I needed to leave "now". I asked why, and she the told me lunch was over and the entire restaurant was reserved. She continued to argue and was extremely rude to me. I have been coming to this bar/restaurant for a few years and was shocked to be treated by an OWNER this way. How does a bar & grill screw up a burger? Ordered a bacon cheeseburger from the menu, not special order, nothing special at all and guess what, they messed it up so bad it had to be fixed over 3 times. Would you like pickles, why yes I would Would you like onions, that sounds great too What kind of cheese, cheddar would be nice Great order is in, oh but wait...,server comes back after about a minute and says.... How would you like it cooked, medium rare please Ok now the order is in. Over 15 min restaurant nearly empty and no food yet, it's only a burger seems to be long enough, a few more minutes and it comes. Oops there are no onions, so off she goes to get some, then i realize oh there is no cheese...OR bacon, wait I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and no bacon or cheese? Then I realize there is no pickles, whatever I'm hungry now I got the cheese and bacon and a plate of onions, let's go! Take a bite and it's well-done to the point of being dry! Are you kidding me now, am I being punked or something? I, at this point don't want any of this headache and tell her I'm done, she comes back with a bill and says "I took you burger off"...YEAH NO KIDDING I didn't eat it, you should have likely comped my whole bill or perhaps just a drink if you wanted to really make things right but as it was, this place felt not charging me for something I didn't eat and was never right from the get-go, somehow was going to entice me to come back or make things right??? You need to do better than trying to make me feel as if you are doing me a favor by taking food off my bill that YOU screwed up AND I never eat! As it is, all you are getting from me is this crappy but honest review about your crappy ability to get your own menu right, at least in my case! And side note, don't ask what temperature someone wants their burger if you are going to cook it however you feel like! Last time I will ever be back here at this what looked to be higher-end but felt to be a substandard dive-bar type place with high prices and a limited boring menu! If I could give this a 0 star review I would. I'm not just being a stickler, but the service here was disrespectful and extremely rushed. We came for dinner and it was relatively crowded, but that is no excuse for the flat out rude service that we received. Apart from the disgruntled employees, the food was utterly mid-piece. Our waitress was Kaitlyn and at the end of our night she came back to our table with a very rude attitude. My group was respectful the entire night and her comment was extremely unprofessional. She yelled at us accusing us of not properly tipping even though she just dropped off our cards and change. She complained about our tips before we even tipped. It was very uncalled for and truly shows the character and integrity of this facility. Additionally when another person in our party called to make a complaint Jillian proceeded to answer the phone saying this is Mcdonald's and that we were all broke children refusing to let us speak to a manager. read more

One of the best patios in Livonia!! We enjoying going here to sit on the patio, have a few beers, and watch some live golf action from the golf course. You can see hole 7,10, and 18 all from the patio. The driving range and putting green also offer some entertainment as well. We usually get good service and the food isn't bad. The girl working Sunday nigh as a waitress should concentrate more on her work and customers than on her boyfriend who she was fiddling with the whole time we were there begging for food and drink refills. Very good ambience! Nice view on the patio especially in the summer. Server was very friendly. Food prices are moderate and accommodating. Ordered the salmon salad and salmon was undercooked. Five years have passed and the only thing that has changed are the prices and the wait staff neither for the better. $10 for a burger and those end pieces of fries you get at the frozen food section at the store. After golfing a beautiful course we had dinner at tin cup. The service was excellent and everyone's dinner was delicious! This grill is a hidden gem. Went here because we were looking for a bar in the area with trivia and drink specials, and this fit the bill. The guy running trivia (unassociated with this bar) was great and actually playing trivia went fine. The drink special was 6 beers for $10, so that was fine too. The table service and food were terrible. Probably the worst dining experience I can remember in at least the past year or two. The food was just BAD. It took about 45 minutes from when we sat down to when we got our food (there were 3 of us). I got a chicken finger pita with mashed potatoes and the bread sticks as an appetizer. The bread sticks came out with the rest of the meals, which kind of defeats the purpose of an appetizer. My mashed potatoes were instant, and cold. I took one bite and couldn't eat any more. They were just plain disgusting. Not even because they were instant (I make instant mashed potatoes at home all the time) but the consistency was terrible. The chicken finger pita itself was fine, but nothing special. Generic coney type item. The bread sticks... ugh. I took one bite and it tasted freezer burned or something. The flavor was terrible. They weren't homemade, that's for sure. Nothing was homemade. Everything was just frozen and then fried or microwaved. Worst part-- there was an eyelash on the bread stick I tried. Great. Needless to say, didn't eat them. When the waiter asked us how everything was, I said "bad. cold and just...bad" and he kind of smiled and shrugged. I really really wanted to talk to the manager and give him some feedback on my experience with the food and service, because I do think there a few things this place could do to make a big difference. When I asked the waiter to speak to the manager to tell him why I wanted the bread sticks removed from the bill, he told me that the manager didn't need to talk to me about it, he would just take it off the bill. I persisted, saying "Actually there are a few things I'd really like to mention if he'll speak to me" and the waiter said "No, he doesn't need to talk to you, he'll just take it off the bill." This is an amazing destination spot if you love a family sports bar and grill! I have taken my 4&1/2 year old to the live music (Jay Graves) on Saturday nights and it was great fun. The menu has something for everyone and a huge salad selection for vegetarians. Everything is fresh and the food was great- I had a Michigan Salad and my son had the French fries and chicken nuggets (which were real chicken and fresh) and they have him a cool kids cup with a straw and crayons and a kids placemat- he had a ball! We were greeted promptly at the door and seated ourselves. Both nights we were there the waitresses were fast, super nice, and continually checked up. There are amazing large screen TV's everywhere and the bar is off to the side if you are with your family. Overall amazing- tell everyone to check this place out! read more

Really good homemade soup, and a solid breakfast menu. During warm weather you can eat on the covered patio overlooking the golf course. I've been going here once a week for over a year now. The reason I started going was because the trivia I play at another bar quit and we needed a new place to play. Being that it was close by and the same time of week, we started here when it was still Nickie's Bar. I must say in the beginning I was not a fan but since it changed, the service and menu drastically improved. Being that the bar is at a golf course, the décor fits the environment. Being I'm not a golf fan or player, I'm not interested but I will not hold that against the establishment. Otherwise, it's a decently set up place. They have plenty of TV's playing sports and a good view of the course. The Club Keno is also a bonus. I won good money on it in the past here. I would say as far as the interior, the only drawback are some spilling beverage stains in the carpeting but this doesn't bother me. It's only really noticeable when the tables are moved around anyway. The food menu is outstanding for the bar. The thing that I love the most is the customizing of the burgers. The burgers taste great and you can pile on whatever toppings you want, yet the only items that cost extra are the fried egg and bacon, which are a dollar each. But they got 5 different cheeses, 3 different sauces and everything from mushrooms and grilled onions to jalapeno peppers, all free of charge. Lots of great toppings to choose from. Another bonus is the burgers and sandwiches come with whatever side they offer. This could be fries, onion rings, loaded baked potatoes, etc. I recommend the loaded potato. The diamond club is another great sandwich option. The burgers usually fill me up so it's not like you'll be leaving hungry. Conversely if you don't want a big meal, items such as the quesadilla won't bust your belly. They also have a full line of entrees, salads, desserts, etc. Service is usually very prompt and the waiters/waitresses help each other out when it gets busy, as Wednesdays are prone to. If you decide to go on Wednesdays, go early as it is usually packed from 7:00 to 9:30 while the Sporcle trivia is being played. The drink menu is quite good for a bar this size. They have a limited but adequate variety of domestic and craft beers. Domestic beers are cheap enough. When I go on Wednesdays, the tall boys are $2.75, which is a very decent price. They also have pint size, pitches, and the outstanding beer tower. A beer tower goes for about $15 for domestics and holds 100 ounces of beer. It has a slot of ice in the middle to keep beer cold and a spigot for distributing the beer. It is a great deal to split with one or two other in your party. One time I was able to consume one solo, but I wouldn't recommend it to novice drinkers (by the way, I did have a designated driver). I have also tried some mixed drinks and they are pretty good. Also, they listen to their regulars. The management asked us if there were any liquor items they would recommend they carried. My buddy recommended Hendricks gin and sure enough, they listened to him. Overall it's a great place to grab a great burger and knock back a couple cold ones. If you enjoy testing knowledge, look into joining the free trivia. read more

Never rent the place for a private party. Although the outside scene is beautiful, the inside atmosphere sucks. The bar remains open so that plenty of men can fill it, drink beer, and watch the party continue while sitting right next you. Management said they would keep these men outside with beer and food, but decided not keep their word the day of the actual event. They kept the Sports TV on high and didn't care they were renting the place out for a private party whatsoever. It's unfortunate considering the manger is actually a women, but didn't care that many of the women at this party felt very uncomfortable being watched by loud, obnoxious men. Do not recommend.
