I have been eating at the Big Boy chain for over 50 years and in 3 different states. I have eaten at this one off and on for 30 years. The menu has gotten smaller but they did try to keep most people favorites, but half of the menu is breakfast. This one has added pizza so I tried a personal size cheese which extra sauce and they brought the sauce on the side not on the pizza. I had no clue that I had to explain it?!?! My friends got the salad and soup bar. One said the price is a little high for the choices. Service was friendly but not always there. Besides freshing up the walls, it looks pretty much the same as always. Lots of parking. Since there are other places near to eat not sure when I will be back.

This Big Boy on Six Mile and Newburgh has new menu with better food to try. We went there with 10 people and we loved everything particularly service by Zeya! (I may have her name wrong due to me hearing but my taste buds are fine!) I had the potatoe pancakes which were plentiful (not hash browns) , wife tried the french toast with a side order of tasty bacon! Lady across from me ordered the slim Jim sandwich which he she said was excellent. One big guy tried the triple decker and could hardly hold it . He was previously not a Big Boy fan but loved his burger and fries . Ditto for the lady next to me who had the original Big Boy. She said it brought back old memories. Coffee was excellent. Could not see at far end of table but all agreed their lunch/breakfast was delicious and a good value for the money! Even a manager came by to check on us. We will be back for sure as we do monthly luncheons together! Very clean atmosphere, waitresses were on the move, this place has sincerely changed. Look at my other reviews ! Too bad we were. Too full to enjoy those delicious pies in the glass cases as we walked out. Ha, next time many just with coffee! This is a 4-4-1/2 restaurant. Help by giving them a visit and add your own review!

This is part of a regional chain, part of the old Big Boy network. A fancy version of a diner/family restaurant. Located in the parking lot of a large stripmall. Inside is a large open seating area, mostly empty. A central salad bar. The food was still good. Clean. They sell pies near the cash register. Staff was fast and friendly, but you would expect that given how empty they were

the floor ,tables are covered in food and garbage. There were only 3 Tables of customers so they were not busy .

Also, if there's a farmer's market going on in the Square, then parking will be tight, but you should be able to find somewhere to park in the surrounding area. The food was amazing! I had the roadhouse skillet and split an order of banana nut French toast . I was really happy with both. The roadhouse is for individuals like me who can't decide what they want. So you get it all combined in one bowl: the skillet potatoes, eggs, biscuit bites, & sausage all topped with sautéed onions and peppers, cheddar cheese and country gravy (yum). The French toast was just heavenly. While the restaurant was filled pretty much to capacity, you were still able to move around and didn't feel cramp. They also had a few tables set up outside in case you wanted to enjoy the weather with your meal. All in all great spot; will definitely be back.

First off, the place is a dead zone for cell service and they don't offer WiFi to their customers. Stupid. Secondly, they continually are out of things or don't offer them even if it's on their menu. Today it was apple juice and PB & J sandwich- how the hell do you not offer the easiest sandwich in the world to make!? After that, they get their produce from GFS when they have a literal farmers market out their front door. Pretty sure that's where they also get their burger meat from cause their burger sucks too. It made me feel ill and I didn't finish it. Also their chicken tortilla soup, while it had a nice kick to it, was disgusting. A milky queso dip- like texture with little to no actual chicken in it. Gross. Had hopes for this place as a first time experience but never going back. Cool looking place but you can't even hear yourself think and low quality food.

I had a craft beer they bragged about brewing and it was FLATTER THEN FLAT. I would have rather had a warm bud light tranny beer. My wife had a Moscow mule that came in the smallest cup that also was so flat and yuck, she sent it back and just had water. The artichoke dip was more like cheesy onion. Our entrees were also sub Applebee's quality. We'll not be going back, and would have enjoyed Applebee's MUCH MORE. I almost laughed at the waitress, when she asked if we were reward members. I don't see this place lasting long. Good luck.
