Tin Roof 2--how I love thee! The original Tin Roof is on Music Row and the sister bar is downtown. Tin Roof 2 is the more relaxed version of these bars. Tin Roof 2 is located in a shopping center in Franklin/Cool Springs but can get a decent crowd coming here even on a weeknight. Once hockey season gears up game nights can get pretty loud and rowdy in an otherwise chill bar. They have a large downstairs area with booths, a bar area then an upstairs area with additional tables and a patio with large Jenga and other games. The ambiance is fun and inviting. This bar has a couple of fun events every week like bingo night and trivia night. My group of friends introduced me to Tin Roof 2 as it is a religious tradition of theirs to visit Tin Roof 2 every Tuesday from 8 pm-10 pm for their Trivia night. The stakes are high as the winner gets a $50 gift certificate to Tin Roof 2, the second place gets $30 and the third place gets $10. The winner of each round also gets a free pitcher of Yazoo Dos Perros and gets to spin the drink wheel for special drink deals for the whole bar that last 10 minutes. Tori who does the trivia is a blast and comes up with fun questions. They range from sports, to pop culture to Disney movies. It's the one time of the week where I look forward to having a few drinks with friends at our favorite neighborhood bar. The drinks and food are all pretty good and what you'd expect to find at a bar. Their cheese dip (aka queso) is our favorite thing to order--it is actually amazing! I've also tried the fried pickle chips, chicken tender basket, and grilled chicken quesadilla. The servers always bring each of us a large water and they are very attentive as well. The staff are just fantastic at Tin Roof 2! It's rare to find a place that feels so comfortable and welcoming as Tin Roof 2. It is a fun neighborhood hangout but has slowly become more to me over time than that because of these weekly get togethers with my friends and the fun memories we have because of this bar! read more

All was okay until we got the bill. Two stupid upcharges that equaled to $2.50 that made the restaurant look like a bunch of morons. 1. There was a $1.50 upcharge for subbing a side salad for fries. Fine, but let us know when we ask! We were not told of the upcharge. After seeing our bill, we asked about it and the waitress said that it was stated on the menu. It was NOT. Just be upfront, come on. 2. A $1.00 upcharge for ordering rum "on the rocks." The $1.00 charge is for the "increased amount of rum that you get when you order on the rocks." Yes, I have heard of this before. Of the 100 times that I have ordered rum on the rocks in the Nashville area, I have been charged the "on the rocks," upcharge one other time. Guess what, I never went back to that place. Tin Roof 2, you are a run of the mill bar...and I ordered Captain Morgan...a run of the mill rum....and you want to charge me extra money for a "bigger" pour. Good luck with that. read more

My husband and I love going to Tin Roof 2 located in Franklin. The atmosphere and drink specials are always great. Tony and the staff there are always friendly and make it a point to always be aware and alert to attend to the next guest. Oven never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a drink. Aside from the great place, people and drinks Tin Roof 2 has great food! Hands down they have the best wings in Franklin. They are fresh, not frozen and never greasy. We make it a point to visit Tin Roof 2 at least once a week! We love it there :) read more

These buttholes literally made me wave them down at the bar every time I went up there. Like, I was at the bar and they just stood there, three feet away, acting like a big dummy, for minutes on end. So far I've only been to this Tin Roof location during "concerts" rather than to enjoy it as a bar. Although, I find it tough to it them concerts when the stage is back in a corner and no one really seemed to be there for the sole purpose of hearing these performers sing. The bar itself I did really like. They have this (what in comparison to their other location) huge patio area with it's own bar. The booths and the setting are similar to the Demonbruen location but on a larger scale. The bartenders for the most part seemed pretty great, except when I tried to order food. I ordered with one bartender, and never saw him again, or my food for that matter. By the time I asked another employee their kitchen had closed and it was too late. I really liked their upstairs area that over looks the bar and stage. That was the best place to be while listening to the performers. THIS BAR SUCKS. They take advantage of the fact that they're the only bar open during the pandemic. They pack people in like a circus. The bartenders are rude, they don't know how to operate with a crowd. The DJ actually put his hands around one of my girlfriends neck bc he didn't like that she was "in his way." Multiple people saw this and many men even tried to get him off of her but the workers took his side and made my girlfriend leave. Absolutely discussing!!! First time here last night, had horrible service, bouncer and off the clock employees drunk off of authority and privilege. Had an incident where while some employees where escorting someone out down the stairs they demanded we get the fuck out of their way. My girlfriend and cousin proceeded to step down and to the side. They still managed to push us on their way down and threaten to have us out of there in 5 seconds for defending ourselves and not bowing down to their every command. De escalating did nothing as the bouncer wanted us to drop everything and sprint out because gathering ourselves was apparently long enough to warrant his threats of calling the police when we weren't the belligerent ones. It's sad they keep people like this around and it speaks for the business. I would not recommend this bar. Don't even waste your time. Don't let the 1 star fool you, ZERO stars. read more

One of the worst places I've been to. As a first timer, the bartender pushes me out the way to get somebody out said used her privilege and demanded us to "move the fuck out of the way" and I tried to get back to the top floor where we originally were at. It would've been different if she had asked us nicely. And the bouncer profiled me and kicked us out of the bar and we weren't even drunk. Highly unacceptable and UNPROFESSIONAL. Will not recommend coming here because it was absolutely uncomfortable coming in and I did NOT feel welcomed. Everybody was mean and rude. I believe the bartender and bouncer needs to learn manners and need to be trained again. I expect something to be done and a call from the owner. Even looking at other reviews I'm not the only one. Had dinner there Thursday 4/7/2022, and the place had a great vibe and live music. The food however, (we ordered burgers) was inedible. The ground beef had an after taste. I couldn't quite make it out but after a few bites I could tell my stomach was not happy. 3.5 Strangely enough, I came to this location before ever stepping foot in the Nashville mother ship. I like the fact that tptb decided to make this location distinct. One thing that chaps when it comes to multi-location businesses is the blanket uniformity. It feels lazy. I get brand quality but change it up so that if someone is at a new location, they feel it. Here, the vibe is decidedly fratty-hot mess, but you know that coming in to it. It fits. If you come here and are aghast to where you are, that's your mistake, not Tin Roof's. I've only been here LATE at night so I can't tell you much about Sunday Football, watching sports or the patio. These are all things I wouldn't be averse to discovering on subsequent trips (especially if I lived closer). What I can tell you about are bad decisions and very sweet drinks. Again, this college fraternity/sorority parties: the drunk girl. The that guy. The tears. The slurred speech. The plastic cups full of schnapps. The very strong, very sweet mixed drinks. It's all good. My poison (literally) for the evening was the Huckleberry. Sweet. Strong. No fears, shame or regrets in drinking it all (late) night long. The Huckleberry. And, at $8 a pop, not a bad way to spend some time bellied up to the bar. The space is deceptively large. I would like to check it out in the light of day. Wait a second! The well healed people of Cool Springs don't need such good happy hour deals!! I cry foul! Example, the night I wondered in was Wednesday so $5 quesadilla and $2 on all draft! And I noticed a sign on the wall proclaiming, among other deals, that Sunday was $10 all you can eat wings! Yet another reason to skip church for the elite heathens of Brentwood! Disclaimer: I am reviewing Tin Roof 2 as a bar/nightlife venue. I did not eat any of their food. A group of ten or so of my friends came here on a Saturday night. Long story short, we had had 8 am Saturday morning classes (life of an MBA student), so we felt like staying close to home to celebrate my birthday. So this is a full fledged bar....in the middle of cool springs, AKA suburbia. I am still flabbergasted at the fact that there is a bar like this in Cool Spring. I have been to Tin Roof on demombreum, and expected this location to be very chill. Well, it wasn't. There was a DJ, disco ball/crazy lights, people overly intoxicated dancing on the floor, and a midnight dance off....and yes, I competed in it. This place was so much fun!!! I'm not sure if I would make it a regular weekend spot, but if I don't want to drive to Nashville but still want a fun night, I will definitely come here! There was quite a variety of age groups and "types" of people here. I would guess that the average age was early 30's. Since it was my birthday everyone bought my drinks for me, but I think I heard someone say a LIT was $9. So pretty average for Nashville. Seriously, if you want to have some fun in Cool Springs, go to Tin Roof 2! read more

I am kind of ashamed at how often that I go to this place. It is my boyfriend's favorite place in Cool Springs so I often end up there by default. We like to go on Sunday's for the all you can eat wings and two for one bloody marys. However, we got a bloody mary on a random Tuesday and it was significantly better tasting, larger and just better in quality. Not so much of a deal anymore, especially since I cant really eat more than a basket of wings... Solid in beer and bar food though. I don't get the bad reviews, so decided to leave my own :-) Don't be deceived by the location, as it's very non-descript and looks like a tiny restaurant...it is not! Tony, the owner/bartender, who knows everyone by name like Cheers, is super helpful and has drinks waiting for you when you arrive. We were newbies tonight and coulnd't have had a better experience! The menu is HUGE as are the draft beer pours! Great food, great drinks, great prices (especially during happy hour), lively conversation and good music. I had the cheesesteak and it was huge, hot and delicious. The fries are seasoned and crinkle cut, but come out super hot and crispy. My husband, yes he's the girl in our relationship, lol, had the kitchen sink salad, which was literally everything but the kitchen sink! His only complaint was that the plate wasn't large enough and he kept losing parts of his salad...tough problem to have! Thanks again my Yelp posse for not steering us wrong. Definately a "Must Visit" spot on the tour of Cool Springs. Fantastic, fast-paced staff keep this place running like the proverbial well-oiled machine. It's not fancy. If you are looking for frosted mugs and fine-dining there are other places you should go, but after you get the hoity-toity out of your system come on over for a good time. As a cheap lunch place this isnt too bad. Nothing too special about the food, but it's a lunch spot that breaks up the monotony of subway, jersey mikes and the such. But you can tell the minute you walk in this is a place that people frequent in the evening and love because of the bar and social scene it exudes. Definitely a 20's to 30's crowd after 5pm... I was very impressed with our waitress's memory the first time I came here. We had 6 in our group and she didn't write a thing down and remembered every order despite everyone saying "hold this, add that, put this on the side..." and got the order perfect. I'll keep this as a lunch place. If you order a side salad be sure to ask a lot of questions. These are not side salads that you're used to getting! read more
