Cool little wine and beer joint. Nice vibe to hang out with friends. We came here for a quick glass of wine. I wish their wines by the glass list were more extensive but I understand they have a limited amount of "handles". Service was low key and friendly. They let us taste the wine before deciding and this helped several in our party to decide what they wanted . Wish we could have stayed longer but we had to get to our dinner reservations. Will be back.

For my first time at a wine bar, Tinajas set the bar (literally)! We stopped in on a Sunday around 4:30pm and had such a lovely experience! We ordered a bites tray with aged goat cheese (firmer with a nice rind and absolutely divine), crispy gluten-free crackers, generous slices of Genoa salami, and a delectable raspberry basil jam -- such a perfect flavor combo. I paired mine with a glass of Deep Sky "Big Bang" Malbec (smooth and bold), while my friend enjoyed a bright Le P'tit Paysan Chardonnay. I really like the mix and match style of the bites and they have a robust wine and beer list to suit anyones fancy. The bartender Morgan was amazing -- super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The art deco style of the space is gorgeous, the chill music set the perfect mood, and the bar seating was incredibly comfortable. Even the bathrooms were stunning -- complete with a bidet for that extra touch of luxury! Prices seemed reasonable for the atmosphere and location -it was certainly a nice treat! Parking was easy for a Sunday evening, but I imagine the shopping center might be busier during the week. Either way, I'll definitely be back for more wine and good vibes!

I must apologize. I'm late on posting for my Yelp elite event. What a fantastic place. It feels almost like an oasis in the desert when you walk in. The servers are knowledgeable, the wine is tasty and reasonably priced. The appetizers are great. I was even told the owner dug out the other side of the barfor $80,000 so that they could look us in the eye when they're talking to us. what an attention to detail. They took the time to explain the food and the wine to us and made us feel very welcome. We will absolutely be going back.

Super cute wine bar! The decor is beautiful! Love the attention to detail! The bathrooms are so cool with the heated toilets! The selection of wines and beers is impressive! Love the little charcuterie board food you can order! Overall a fun experience! The service is top notch!

What a hidden gem! I was enthusiastically greeted by Katie, whose energy and passion MADE the experience! She could have poured mud and made it delightful. The wines I tasted were yummy and the bites perfectly paired! This place will be great for a special date or to gather with girlfriends after work... I'll be back!

    Great ambiance!

Great ambiance, very welcoming, peaceful....and GREAT wines (of course). Best of all, staff who know their wines and can make suggestions. It's a great place for a quiet glass with a partner or to gather to catch-up with friends. And, the beer selection is pretty impressive, so beer lovers aren't left out. And, of course, they've got non-alcoholic drinks, too. 'Bites' are on the menu--not meals, but tasty tidbits to complement the wines: interesting cheeses, crackers, olives, nuts and the like. This place is a treasure .

Five stars for ambiance and service, although the range of wine and food offerings are pretty limited. The decor is very well done, and you can feel yourself relaxing as soon as you enter. It is nice to see an upscale wine bar in Tucson where the staff really knows their stuff and are eager to help you navigate the menu. We have been more than once, and have had a wonderful experience every time. Definitely worth checking out.

I loved the ambience here it was such a mood. I thought the wine selection was good. It was the perfect place to come with a girlfriend date night or a small group of friends. I wish that the options for too good reports were a little larger and that there was like a preset option as well not just individual. I do have to say that I think that the charcuterie board took a little time to come but I still enjoyed. It definitely will be back.

I came here with a couple of friends on Saturday night and thought the interior was beautiful. The booths were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the Negroni Spritz, which is made with wine instead of gin. I wasn't a fan of the lightly sparkling wine special of the day, but the two friends I was with really enjoyed it.

We went on the grand opening evening of Tinajas, and I look forward to going back! The space is very chic, combining art deco touches with more organic elements like plants and a waterfall behind the bar. It'd be a great place for a holiday happy hour! They've got wines and beers on tap, as well as a bottle shop, and some snacks -- think charcuterie elements -- on the menu. The night we were there, a food truck was parked outside too! It would be a great pre- or post-dinner place to chat and unwind. The staff was friendly, but definitely slammed when we visited (the grand opening was PACKED). They seemed knowledgeable about their wines, and happy to give suggestions. I've already told a few friends about it, so I'll definitely be back there soon!

Wow the interior of this place is gorgeous. There are so many beautiful touches and the ambiance is a 10 out of 10. Even the bathroom is one of the fanciest I've ever seen, equipped with a bidet. We redeemed the Tucson Foodie voucher for a free tasting. The girl working who I think was the owner was so nice and helpful. I only had a small sip of each and the Adele white was a standout, very smooth, not too dry or sweet. This is the perfect spot for a date or girls night out.

The service here was lovely! We tried 3 wines and came during the week which was perfect to get through a mid-week slump. The inside was beautifully decorated and felt like we weren't in Tucson anymore. Perfect for date night :)

Try the kalimotxo, sounds odd, tastes amazing

This is a great date spot or place to meet up with the girls and chat and drink. The small bites menu was unctuous enough to leave you feeling full and the wine and beer selection are top notch. They even had sake! I will definitely be back for the ambiance, service and quality products.

Light bites for a delicious pairing for a Yelp Elite event.

The first thing I need to own is that it's a shame I hadn't visited here before. We arrived at 5:30p and both the bar and patio areas were packed - standing room only, and no wonder. They have one of the better happy hours (daily! 3:00 - 6:30p) - able to accommodate both the slacker and the over-timer Lol. Basic drinks are all discounted such as house wines, well drinks, and beers. Their bottled wines and craft cocktails are all exempt though. Many of their appetizers are also discounted and some quite substantially. We grabbed a glass of the house cabernet ($6, normally $8) and the grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon ($13, normally $20). NOTE: happy hour pricing is Only available if you order/consume at the bar or on the patio and that's clear in advance, and understandable. The dining areas were only half full at this early point (but filled up by 6:30) and the host kindly encouraged us to enjoy our starters at the bar as she would hold our table. We were then sat near the "back" of this long venue and frankly, aside from the lone windowed table at the very front, this would be my preferred seating - cozy, intimate, with only five other tables around us. For dinner drinks she got an Italian Nebbiolo Bricco Magno Red Blend ($13/glass, reliably terrific/mellow) and I got the Chupacabra ($15) Mezcal/prickly pear cocktail, strong and excellent as well. We got an additional appetizer: the roasted bone marrow ($19). I had never had marrow before but she raved about how good this can be if done properly (bonus, it is super healthy). Folks, a picture/worth a 1000... suffice to say this was simply outstanding! We both had long work weeks and were craving meat - just a damn good steak. Our waiter, without blinking recommended the 8oz bison filet mignon ($65) as his absolute menu fav, and then the day's special: 14oz ribeye ($50). We ordered each. All dinners come with two sides and we each got the day's special: roasted half artichoke and she got the loaded baked potato while I got the mashed potatoes. Food arrived about 15 minutes later at good temperature (warm/rested with a strong char) with each being accurately grilled (medium and medium-rare). Taste was outstanding. Neither one of us had bison filet before and marveled how it (subtly) added a "wild" edge to an always outstanding, lean-but-tender, cut of beef. The loaded baked was terrific, however, the mashed was the only disappointment... a plainer mash one could not make themselves - pure white and borderline dry, no milk, butter, egg, gravy(?), nothing to make it creamy or add any flavor dimension - a surprise frankly. The only other "critique" is that the dessert menu could add some kind of dark/chocolate concoction. All in all, though, we loved our experience and have decided to add this to our periodic special dinners rotation! Staff was outstanding - just the proper balance of attentive and quiet - and waters never went below half empty. Parking is free and plentiful, especially behind the restaurant (and yes, if you continue on around the back there is another long entrance/exit driveway that comes out the other side of Jimmy John's and Noodleholics.

My first impression is the outdoor-friendly design, with a bar that is half al fresco and the other half inside. Shutters can close the al fresco section out during inclement weather. It was a quiet evening, with a few diehard clients at the bar. I walked in, studied the rotating menu, and settled for the one wheat beer on the list: #18 Enegren Schoener Tag Hefeweizen (5%ABV) from Moorpark, CA. It was quite flavorful with good mouth feel. I sat al fresco at the bar looking in. I enjoyed the ambiance. The inside is designed for groups to sit together and talk while sampling beer or wine. Four TVs were on the wall as an afterthought. The beertender was busy cleaning equipment before closing, but he explained to me that while the beer list rotates, the first five are staples, dominated by sours and IPAs although several lagers are also available. There is plenty of parking in the rear although I noticed that lighting is only toward the strip mall. The rear spaces are dark. I asked about dogs. Only service dogs are allowed.

And while not pretentious it's hip and relaxed while being a place you want to dress up to go to. Every one of your senses will be delighted. The view, the smells, the food, the service, the hotel costes vibe lounge music playing in the backdrop to perfectly pair in creating a contemporary ambiance complimenting the whole environment. Great job. In a few weeks I've been 3 times. I've tried the caviar cones that are a burst and mirage of flavors that left me wanting to order a dozen. Delicious. The guacamole experience at first glance I had written off, but friends decided to order and I'm so glad they did. Delicious!!! The Chicharron and Tostones were out of this world in flavor definitely worth it. The Fig drink is amazing. The sunset vodka drink with ginger OMG! The Mandavi red is amazing, the port is delicious for an after dinner cap off as is the espresso martini. I love all their glassware and tableware. They use the right glasses for the right things. Service is attentive, they're around, but they're not pushing you to be out the door -which I love. Definitely more of an Italy dining experience where they want you to sit back and relax and take your time. I love that. Especially because the place is so beautiful. You don't wanna leave and the chairs are so comfortable that you don't want to get up. Back to the food, got the special which was pork with a cherry glaze and goat cheese, drizzle. To die for perfectly accompanied with the artichoke. The ahi tuna dinner entree was cooked perfectly and a beautiful presentation. The steak was perfectly cooked. Wasn't a big fan of the Potatoes au gratin but it presented beautifully- I'm just more of a classic when it comes to that dish and they had a unique take on it. The crème brûlée was good. I feel like it's a staple that you can't really make any more exceptional than a good crème brûlée is. The surprise was the brownie, which I would not have ordered but friends wanted to so I tried it. it was amazing. I love the presentation of how they serve it and the taste was absolutely unique perfection! They made something taste exceptionally different, even though it seems like it would be your usual brownie à la mode. It's got a unique flavor that I have a hard time describing besides I recommend you try it because it's absolutely delicious. I've decided that I will have to try everything on the menu at least once. Because some of the things that I immediately wrote off with the things that I love the most. So now I'm curious to try all of their menu items. They do have a way of making dishes very unique and all their own based on how they serve it or the way they have prepare it. The lighting and ambience is like no other restaurant in Tucson. This place is an event. Breathtaking in every regard. Sat outside all 3 times. Twice at tables and once at the sofa overlooking the 18th hole. Arrived between 630-730 all 3 times and was totally comfortable. I love Tucson's weather and sunsets and wore my sunglasses for 30 minutes one of the evenings while watching the sun set. I was unbothered by the Tucson heat- but this is one of the things I love most about living here. The misters with fans above the tables do a nice job of keeping it cool without you getting damp. If you're concerned for the heat, that's a good outdoor spot to sit. I'll have to try sitting indoors at some point but honestly, I prefer outside and away from A/C.
