Beautiful wine bar in the east foothills. This gave me very much Scottsdale vibes with the ambiance. Unfortunately we went when I'm trying to cut back on alcohol but I would like to go back to enjoy their menu. The bartender was the server and very attentive. Will definitely be going back!

For my first time at a wine bar, Tinajas set the bar (literally)! We stopped in on a Sunday around 4:30pm and had such a lovely experience! We ordered a bites tray with aged goat cheese (firmer with a nice rind and absolutely divine), crispy gluten-free crackers, generous slices of Genoa salami, and a delectable raspberry basil jam -- such a perfect flavor combo. I paired mine with a glass of Deep Sky "Big Bang" Malbec (smooth and bold), while my friend enjoyed a bright Le P'tit Paysan Chardonnay. I really like the mix and match style of the bites and they have a robust wine and beer list to suit anyones fancy. The bartender Morgan was amazing -- super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The art deco style of the space is gorgeous, the chill music set the perfect mood, and the bar seating was incredibly comfortable. Even the bathrooms were stunning -- complete with a bidet for that extra touch of luxury! Prices seemed reasonable for the atmosphere and location -it was certainly a nice treat! Parking was easy for a Sunday evening, but I imagine the shopping center might be busier during the week. Either way, I'll definitely be back for more wine and good vibes!

I must apologize. I'm late on posting for my Yelp elite event. What a fantastic place. It feels almost like an oasis in the desert when you walk in. The servers are knowledgeable, the wine is tasty and reasonably priced. The appetizers are great. I was even told the owner dug out the other side of the barfor $80,000 so that they could look us in the eye when they're talking to us. what an attention to detail. They took the time to explain the food and the wine to us and made us feel very welcome. We will absolutely be going back.

What a hidden gem! I was enthusiastically greeted by Katie, whose energy and passion MADE the experience! She could have poured mud and made it delightful. The wines I tasted were yummy and the bites perfectly paired! This place will be great for a special date or to gather with girlfriends after work... I'll be back!

    Great ambiance!

Great ambiance, very welcoming, peaceful....and GREAT wines (of course). Best of all, staff who know their wines and can make suggestions. It's a great place for a quiet glass with a partner or to gather to catch-up with friends. And, the beer selection is pretty impressive, so beer lovers aren't left out. And, of course, they've got non-alcoholic drinks, too. 'Bites' are on the menu--not meals, but tasty tidbits to complement the wines: interesting cheeses, crackers, olives, nuts and the like. This place is a treasure .

Super cute wine bar! The decor is beautiful! Love the attention to detail! The bathrooms are so cool with the heated toilets! The selection of wines and beers is impressive! Love the little charcuterie board food you can order! Overall a fun experience! The service is top notch!

Five stars for ambiance and service, although the range of wine and food offerings are pretty limited. The decor is very well done, and you can feel yourself relaxing as soon as you enter. It is nice to see an upscale wine bar in Tucson where the staff really knows their stuff and are eager to help you navigate the menu. We have been more than once, and have had a wonderful experience every time. Definitely worth checking out.

I loved the ambience here it was such a mood. I thought the wine selection was good. It was the perfect place to come with a girlfriend date night or a small group of friends. I wish that the options for too good reports were a little larger and that there was like a preset option as well not just individual. I do have to say that I think that the charcuterie board took a little time to come but I still enjoyed. It definitely will be back.

I came here with a couple of friends on Saturday night and thought the interior was beautiful. The booths were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the Negroni Spritz, which is made with wine instead of gin. I wasn't a fan of the lightly sparkling wine special of the day, but the two friends I was with really enjoyed it.

We went on the grand opening evening of Tinajas, and I look forward to going back! The space is very chic, combining art deco touches with more organic elements like plants and a waterfall behind the bar. It'd be a great place for a holiday happy hour! They've got wines and beers on tap, as well as a bottle shop, and some snacks -- think charcuterie elements -- on the menu. The night we were there, a food truck was parked outside too! It would be a great pre- or post-dinner place to chat and unwind. The staff was friendly, but definitely slammed when we visited (the grand opening was PACKED). They seemed knowledgeable about their wines, and happy to give suggestions. I've already told a few friends about it, so I'll definitely be back there soon!

The service here was lovely! We tried 3 wines and came during the week which was perfect to get through a mid-week slump. The inside was beautifully decorated and felt like we weren't in Tucson anymore. Perfect for date night :)

Try the kalimotxo, sounds odd, tastes amazing

This is a great date spot or place to meet up with the girls and chat and drink. The small bites menu was unctuous enough to leave you feeling full and the wine and beer selection are top notch. They even had sake! I will definitely be back for the ambiance, service and quality products.

Light bites for a delicious pairing for a Yelp Elite event.

A wonderful visit, and it is so great to have a beautiful wine / beer establishment on the NE side of Tucson. The interior is beyond plush, and the service is attentive without being overly so.

We managed to snag a couple of seats in a communal lounge area. I think it's the kind of place where many people come early for happy hour. It was also raining which made it impossible to sit outside, meaning the indoor seating area was pretty packed. We decided to lean into the sidecar of it all and order a classic prohibition sidecar. I don't think this was a traditional sidecar, which was surprising, but it was tasty. It's small, but it packs a punch. The bartenders here are very talented. Overall, I wish the space was a little bit bigger, but it's a great spot to grab a quick drink and enjoy some pizza from the spot next pdoor.

The first thing I need to own is that it's a shame I hadn't visited here before. We arrived at 5:30p and both the bar and patio areas were packed - standing room only, and no wonder. They have one of the better happy hours (daily! 3:00 - 6:30p) - able to accommodate both the slacker and the over-timer Lol. Basic drinks are all discounted such as house wines, well drinks, and beers. Their bottled wines and craft cocktails are all exempt though. Many of their appetizers are also discounted and some quite substantially. We grabbed a glass of the house cabernet ($6, normally $8) and the grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon ($13, normally $20). NOTE: happy hour pricing is Only available if you order/consume at the bar or on the patio and that's clear in advance, and understandable. The dining areas were only half full at this early point (but filled up by 6:30) and the host kindly encouraged us to enjoy our starters at the bar as she would hold our table. We were then sat near the "back" of this long venue and frankly, aside from the lone windowed table at the very front, this would be my preferred seating - cozy, intimate, with only five other tables around us. For dinner drinks she got an Italian Nebbiolo Bricco Magno Red Blend ($13/glass, reliably terrific/mellow) and I got the Chupacabra ($15) Mezcal/prickly pear cocktail, strong and excellent as well. We got an additional appetizer: the roasted bone marrow ($19). I had never had marrow before but she raved about how good this can be if done properly (bonus, it is super healthy). Folks, a picture/worth a 1000... suffice to say this was simply outstanding! We both had long work weeks and were craving meat - just a damn good steak. Our waiter, without blinking recommended the 8oz bison filet mignon ($65) as his absolute menu fav, and then the day's special: 14oz ribeye ($50). We ordered each. All dinners come with two sides and we each got the day's special: roasted half artichoke and she got the loaded baked potato while I got the mashed potatoes. Food arrived about 15 minutes later at good temperature (warm/rested with a strong char) with each being accurately grilled (medium and medium-rare). Taste was outstanding. Neither one of us had bison filet before and marveled how it (subtly) added a "wild" edge to an always outstanding, lean-but-tender, cut of beef. The loaded baked was terrific, however, the mashed was the only disappointment... a plainer mash one could not make themselves - pure white and borderline dry, no milk, butter, egg, gravy(?), nothing to make it creamy or add any flavor dimension - a surprise frankly. The only other "critique" is that the dessert menu could add some kind of dark/chocolate concoction. All in all, though, we loved our experience and have decided to add this to our periodic special dinners rotation! Staff was outstanding - just the proper balance of attentive and quiet - and waters never went below half empty. Parking is free and plentiful, especially behind the restaurant (and yes, if you continue on around the back there is another long entrance/exit driveway that comes out the other side of Jimmy John's and Noodleholics.

My first impression is the outdoor-friendly design, with a bar that is half al fresco and the other half inside. Shutters can close the al fresco section out during inclement weather. It was a quiet evening, with a few diehard clients at the bar. I walked in, studied the rotating menu, and settled for the one wheat beer on the list: #18 Enegren Schoener Tag Hefeweizen (5%ABV) from Moorpark, CA. It was quite flavorful with good mouth feel. I sat al fresco at the bar looking in. I enjoyed the ambiance. The inside is designed for groups to sit together and talk while sampling beer or wine. Four TVs were on the wall as an afterthought. Friends and I decided to celebrate my birthday here. A friend made the reservations and was able to get us in the large group room. Felt like being in a beautiful home with full west-facing windows/views to the patio that overlooks the lush golf course. All 12 of us arrived a little early so we took the opportunity to take pictures outside while enjoying libations. The Fig and Honey is a wonderfully refreshing cocktail! Our server made sure to identify herself prior to let us know that she would be the one taking care of us. Once we were herded into our room, it was a great experience from start to finish, with Tina. A few of us ordered apps of beef tartare and crudo style hamachi - both winners. I was gifted a yummy Mini Beer. For my entree I ordered the short ribs with Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Would recommend but they were not as rich one would expect in more of a winter stew but that was probably ok for a summer meal. For dessert, I got the birthday carrot cake with roman candle, and everyone got a flute of champagne or sparkling cider. The cake was an interestingly delicious slice with 1/4" alternating layers of cake and frosting. All in all, the service was perfect, attendent but not helicopter-y. We were able to relax and have an amazing time. We were well taken care of by Tina. The hubby is already pitching the venue for future special family events. And, yeah yeah, it's at a hotel/resort, but so far, this place is what I would consider for a group special event.
