Tina's had a good rating on Yelp so my wife and I decided to head over to order some fish tacos. There was a daily special on a "Walla Walla Sweet Onion Burrito w/Carne Asada, Cheese, Fresh Avocado, and Verde for $13.50, so we ordered that and some fish tacos. The tacos were tasty and fresh. The burrito was unlike anything I've ever eaten and was absolutely delicious, filling, and memorable. I've never had a better burrito. Highly recommended! 5 stars! read more

The food was good. I would suggest getting a biscuit from here. They are made I house daily. Yummy! The service was amazing. They were super busy and there was one women handling all the service from taking orders bring out all the food and coming by regularly to see if we needed anything. She also bussed the tables. Tina's Tacos is a great cafe serving breakfast and Mexican food. It's perched up on a hill with an enormous rock as it's foundation. The people are cheerful, smiling, and care about what they do. Tina herself is preparing the food. The presentation of the food is wonderful and colorful. The sweet potato omelet and hash browns were delicious. We're vegan, so they accommodated with substitutions. The meal is full and so will you be when you finish. Happy, full tummy. It's one of the best cafes we've eaten at in Friday Harbor. We'll make a bee-line for Tina's next time we're in Friday Harbor. read more

We were just looking for a dog friendly place to eat when on San Juan island and tried Tina's for a quick bite. They have a nice outdoor seating area for enjoying burritos and tacos. The wet burrito was massive and I enjoyed the tacos too. They were very accommodating with the removal of the onions from my tacos and I very much enjoyed ther hot sauce and salsa. My dog was very comfortable here on the nice grassy dinning area outside under the big umbrellas. The carna asada was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I appreciated the recomdation from the nice lady at the counter where we ordered our food. It's a block off the main street coming off the ferry but was a great find if you just make a right a few blocks up the hill when going out of town. I was impressed with both the food and the prices which were reasonable on the island. That's not always easy to find in the San Juan's and a welcomed relief after spending three days in Roche Harbor. I would consider this a hidden gem on San Juan. read more

Rather Disappointed! $3.00 tacos turned into $42.00 & I drank water. Food So So....during Covid trying to give them benefit of the doubt. Best item was "free" hot chips with salsa. Street taco has 2 small corn tortillas, my 2nd taco wrap was so dry it was cracked. The beans were unbelievably hard & not even able to eat them after my 1st bite. Rice was over done almost to the point of mushy....color but no flavor or onions, peppers or any other spice to encourage me to take a second bite. Beef was dry & over cooked, Pork was the best item I tried. Carnitas was chewy & gristly, Guacamole was adequate, but not worth the price. And I was starving as this was my 1st meal of the day. A BIG deal & major Disappointment was with the lack of effort to clean or wipe any germs from tables between customers, even those just picking up food. Plastic tablecloths are worn out, salt shaker was riddle with crusty leftovers from prior customers, Clearly they had not been disinfected for some time. The Floors are filthy, bathroom counter I do not believe had been cleaned All day. Very concerned our health was compromised after eating there. A Mask was the Only thing required to avoid Covid contamination. Ownership apparently changed in 2017, so older reviews are not valid for this current owner. We will Not be back. There are other Great quality restaurants with first class food in Friday Harbor, Tina's Tacos is Not one of them. read more

If you want some affordable tacos while in San Juan island, this is the spot! It's a little removed from the main happenings of Friday Harbor but don't let that make you believe that this place isn't worth a visit. The tacos are simple and delicious. This is one of my favorite lunch spots and my kids' afterschool second lunch. Tina makes an awesome lunch special for me that is Weight Watchers friendly AND delicious. Chicken breast, pico, beans and veggies. SO good! My kids and husband adore her tacos, quesadillas and chimichangas. Pork, beef,chicken, veggie or fish, honestly, you can't go wrong. Sitting outside and enjoying the sun or sitting inside and relaxing, Tina's Tacos is a perfect respite from a crazy day. Also? Let's just talk about Tina herself. Wife and I dropped in looking for a less touristy, quick 'authentic' Mexican lunch. The only thing authentic was the audible rage by the owner, expressed upon the poor souls toiling away in the kitchen. While we waited for our order - a 25 min wait for burritos - we were subjected to manic outbursts of profanity, like 'we're out of F#ing cheese again!' and 'stir the F#ing beans!' The status of available cheese must've really irked the owner, as she F-bombed that cheese situation multiple times. The poor cashier offered embarrassed 'that's our crazy owner' statements to soothe the anxious customers. So we receive our burritos. They look alright from the outside but after probing their innards I was F-wording the beef situation, best described as tiny burnt remnants of whatever got scrapped off the cook top the night before. I'll have to take their word on the 'beef' origin of these pathetic micro-nuggets. While our meals were not completely disgusting, I paid $11 dollars for a sub-par fast food burrito while enduring loud, sustained hostilities. I would've preferred a gas station flauta, or getting water-boarded. read more

Pleasantly surprised with our find! Everything is fresh and made to order, even the free chip appetizer. I ordered the taco bowl and C had the fish tacos.
