Mostly a pickup joint . Looking from outside I thought it was a full fledged restaurant .. once we went in, we realized that there are no tables , except one . No place to sit and eat . We took out few things . Veg items tasted average . Chicken was good. Soup was goood tooo. I didn't like veggie that much . Price is good though. Cheap compared to other places . Good parking facilities . Overall an average experience..

    Boneless spare rib lunch special.

Great boneless spare ribs and pork fried rice. You can't go inside because of Covid. You have to order from the outside and they slide your food through the door. Like most places, the prices have sky rocketed. Even the fortune cookies have shrunk! I would come here again.

Oh dear God!!! Today i stopped to get an Eggdrop Soup at this place and to my surprise it was a baby roach on the soup....I almost threw up!!! Never ever ever again!!!! This is the most disgusting thing I have experience from a Chinese restaurant!!!! If you go there please please check your food! I cant believed I started eating this soup before I realized a roach was in it!!! Yukkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

I got delivery since I didn't want to go out and it was nearby. Average taste and cost but accurate, fast, and hot. Worth trying.

Chinese takeout with some seating. Food is average and prices are fair. Located in strip mall so plenty of parking available.

It's probably the best Chinese spot in paramus, hands down traditional dishes to satisfy your taste buds.

It is similar to Sichuan/Szechuan cuisine in ways, in that there is an emphasis on spicy foods, although the spice profiles differ. It is in the space formerly occupied by a different Chinese restaurant called Joyce (RIP - I loved and miss their short-lived foray into seafood boils). Although there are many great authentic (meaning regionally specialized) Chinese restaurants in Bergen County and northern NJ, including several Sichuan places, this is the only Hunan one I'm aware of (without venturing further south into NJ), and is certainly one of the nicest Chinese restaurants atmosphere-wise, with an elegant dining room. If you want to try the interesting and authentic dishes, of which there are plenty, order from the sections of the menu labeled with "Hunan" or "Home Style." The soups and cold appetizers are very traditional too. The house speciality is the Hunan steamed fish head with pickled chili - the platter is quite impressive and takes 20-30 min to prepare. You can add tofu (recommended) or noodles for an additional $5. We ordered this but since I'm not a fish head fan (and like my fish very simply dressed) - I think it was a type of carp - the appreciation for it was lost on me. It's topped with a heap of red chilis but is actually not as spicy as it looks. Personally I prefer the fish fillet dishes such as the fish with ginger, which has very tender filet slices. I loved the soup dumplings (large and soupy), shrimp with salted egg yolk (or any salted egg yolk dishes, which aren't easy to find), and enjoyed the tender sautéed beef dishes like beef with spring onion or the spicy green pepper with steak, with crunchy peppers that give a piquant refreshing kick. They have whole Peking duck (Beijing roast duck)! The menu only shows pricing for the whole duck but we asked for half and they obliged. To be honest it's not the best Peking duck I've had but the balance of crispy skin (that's yet not too fatty) to generously shaved lean duck meat was unimpeachable. And they use high-quality crepes that are superbly thin but do not tear. The lo mein is also pretty good - it's slightly smoky and is better than common. Parking tip: there are only a few spots in front but there is a parking lot in the back of the building with plenty of spaces. There are lots of exciting and exotic menu offerings and still many we'd like to try, so we'll be back repeatedly.

I have easily finished two trays myself in one sitting. The fried rice dishes are a nice surprise too. They are not greasy and not overly salty, which I really appreciate. Service is quick, with most dishes coming out within 5 to 10 minutes, making it a great spot when you want something fast and satisfying. Just be warned, it is very easy to overdo it here.

They always smile and give you extra sauces and pack everything really well - because you will always have leftovers. The dishes we have liked and order on repeat are the spring rolls, soup dumplings ofc, veg gyoza, the mapo tofu, any of the fried rices, the veg udon (except for once), the beef with green beans, kung pao chicken. Misses: the pork udon or pork fried rice, the eggplant dish, stir fry baby shrimp (we didnt see the picture), the chicken peanuts, the orange chicken, sesame chicken, and a few others. The chicken usually is hit or miss in terms of texture and flavor unfortunately. Either it is dry and overcooked or it is missing in flavor.
