Such a charming little French bakery in Pioneer Square!…read more Mirabelle by Orphée has a lovely Parisian feel, with beautiful pastries, croissants, and a small selection of French specialty foods. The historic brick building and outdoor seating add so much character to the place. Chef/Owner Orphée was there when I visited and was very friendly and welcoming. He took the time to help customers and chat with us about some of the French products. I asked him about one of my favorites, Maison Bordier - Le Beurre Bordier , and was surprised when he told me he has been trying to bring it into the shop, but the waitlist is apparently all the way until 2029! We picked up several pastries to take home, and they were delicious. You can really feel the attention to French tradition and quality here. A wonderful little find in Pioneer Square, especially if you love French pastries. Definitely worth stopping by for a croissant and coffee.
