Originating from Korea, I was so excited to see that Paris Baguette found a home in downtown Redmond. Located on the ground floor of an apartment building, parking can be challenging unless you find a spot on the street or don't mind walking from a public lot. Inside, seating is pretty plentiful with some tables in the center, along the windows, and in a more secluded section behind the coffee counter. Two of us came in to grab some pastries and coffee around 11:00A. We loaded up our tray and headed to the counter where we also requested a slice of the tiramisu from their refrigerated case, and ordered our coffees. + CHOCOLATE SUPREME CROISSANT ($6.59) - This round croissant was filled with chocolate custard cream, partially dipped in chocolate and topped with crisp chocolate pearls. The croissant was light but had no problem holding up to the rich custard which reminded me of a chocolate pudding. I really enjoyed this one! + COFFEE CROISSANT DONUT ($5.99) - When I picked this up, I noticed it had some weight! The cronut was filled generously with coffee custard which was smooth and not too sweet. All the sweetness really came from sugary coffee icing on top. Even though the coffee flavor wasn't very bold and tasted more like instant coffee to me, I'd still recommend. The pastry was flaky and had light layers too. + TIRAMISU CAKE SLICE ($9.25) - Eh, it was just okay. The cake itself didn't have a robust coffee flavor and the layer of mascarpone was way sweeter than anticipated, closer to a cream cheese frosting. To me, this isn't reminiscent of a tiramisu and for the price, I would have expected a larger slice. Others in my family ate the remaining pastries that we purchased (we didn't share, haha), so here are their quick thoughts: + RASPBERRY ALMOND CROISSANT ($6.39) - Advertised as filled with both almond cream and raspberry preserves, but the almond cream was extremely subtle, so raspberry was the dominant flavor. + ALMOND PASTRY ($4.99) - The pastry could have used more almond filling, and it should be spread out more out towards the edges. It had a delightful almond flavor though. + CHOUX CREAM BREAD ($3.79) - This was as expected, a simple soft bread filled with custard cream. + CROISSANT DONUT ($5.99) - A cronut filled with custard cream and topped with lemon icing. It had good flavor! + SWEET RICE DONUT ($3.79) - A chewy rice donut rolled in sugar and filled with red bean. Eat it the same day, while the dough is still soft. The filling did not have the sweetness that you'd expect with a red bean paste... it tasted like just mashed red beans and was pretty plain. We wouldn't select it again. For my coffee, I kept things simple with a decaf ICED VANILLA LATTE ($5.42, 16 oz.). They serve the Lavazza brand, so I had a feeling it would be good. The coffee was very smooth, had a good balance of vanilla flavor and they accommodated my request for light ice well. They have a rewards program (1 point per $1), although points do expire after 180 days. The pricing of the pastries is on par with what I expected, but the cost of cake slices is steep at almost $10 each, so it's a better value just to order a full cake. I'm sure I'll be back again to try more of their pastries... perhaps a savory one next time! read more

Sometimes I am compelled to write a review. This is one of those times. I ordered something very simple: A small hot hazelnut coffee. It came out nice and hot, with an incredible hazelnut aroma. It instantly reminded me of those hazelnut wafer sticks. To my unpleasant surprise, consuming it left me disgusted, with each sip causing me to stick my tongue out in revolt. The taste was an absolute disaster that came out of a laboratory. I've never tasted "coffee" like it. 100% chemically (subjective to my taste buds AND my nasal cavity). Zero hint/flavor of coffee. This was artificial hazelnut in pure liquid form. I am absolutely disgusted. I don't even have the nerve to try any location again after this disasterous and embarrassing excuse for coffee. read more

An amazing huge bakery of delicious goodness. The cakes were so pretty during the new year. We had the Blueberry Yogurt Cake which was one of the first time I having an Yogurt Cake and it was amazing. Soft and delicious cake , full of blueberry goodnesses. The chocolate chiffon cake was another soft delicious cake. Parking is a nightmare if you don't get lucky. There is no immediate street parking and this bakery is on the busiest intersections in Redmond. The service behind the counter was friendly but slow, they seemed to short staffed when we went during the holidays. It's a very very large cafe and lots of places to sit. read more

I'm a fan of this chain. Creative pastries you'd have a hard time finding anywhere else, the sandwiches are surprisingly decent, the coffee is decent, and pricing is on the mark. I'd give them a 6th star if they could take all the calories out of their food tho. read more

They offer three gluten-free options, which is more than I usually find, two gluten-free cakes that are thoughtfully packaged separately, plus a gluten-free crepe cake (though that one is stored in a shared cooler with gluten items, so something to keep in mind if you're very sensitive). Everything I tried tasted delicious. The flavors were fresh and the texture was far better than most GF pastries out there. The drink selection is also a standout. Great coffee and tea options that pair perfectly with a treat. The shop itself has a bright, open vibe with casual seating and plenty of space to spread out and relax or catch up with friends. I was fresh off a trip to Paris, so was excited to try this latest entry in the French Bakery wars in Redmond. Redmond has at least 3 French bakeries now, Paris Baguette, French Bakery, and Farine. Farine is far and away the best of the 3. Paris Baguette unfortunately is not a bakery I'd choose again unless it was for a friend gathering of some kind. That said, the restaurant is nicely appointed and there are tables with chargers for digital nomads. The coffee was decent. The pastries, although they look delicious, weren't really that good compared to other shops or Paris. The cronut was cloyingly sweet and the pain raisin was not what I expected. Like I said, I'd just returned last week from Paris so was excited to have this place in my neighborhood. Disappointing though. The kicker came when I asked the staff for a pat of butter for my pastry and they said they didn't have butter. You...what??? With all these baguettes and breads and pastries, you don't offer your dine-in customers butter? Blasphemy! Thankfully there are other French bakeries. read more

Paris Baguette feels more like a Starbucks than anything remotely Parisian. Outside of the name, there is nothing authentic about it. Most of what they serve is industrial, nothing is freshly prepared on the spot, and the prices are definitely on the high side. The staff is not particularly friendly either, which doesn't make the experience any better. That said, their seasonal drinks can be interesting and worth a try. Still, there's no parking available, which makes it frustrating and honestly not worth the hassle. Another strange detail: they don't offer self-service water. You always have to ask the staff for it, and they usually seem annoyed about it. Overall, it's an underwhelming experience unless you're curious about their limited seasonal offerings. read more

Our favorite birthday cake is the strawberry soft cream cake from Paris Baguette, so I was super excited when this location finally opened. The cake did not dissaapoint! We had our favorite strawberry soft cream cake for one birthday and the rainbow cake for another birthday. The rainbow cake has multiple layers, all a different flavor. I also appreciate the cake slicer with the built in matches and candles they provide with the cakes. Will definitely be back! Happy eating! read more

This is actually close to a 4.5 star but I want to go back to make sure it's consistent before rounding it up. I been to other Paris baguette and was disappointed so I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. Parking can be a hassle as it's street parking. That place is big and spacious. The bakery are all displayed clearly so you can see everything. They do need to work on appearances a little as the pastries doesn't look as attractive. I ended up getting Dubai chocolate mochi donut --i was not a fan of Dubai chocolate before but this one was really good. Perfectly chewy as well. Cronut - omg I love the cream in between layers and the layers was still flaky. Cookie butter biscoff filled donut -- I'm a fan of Cookie butter and the donut did not disappoint. There was Soo much cream in the donut. Also, the outer has a slight crisp to it. Salted milk bread -- good flavors balanced. Overall, all the pastries was exceptionally good. One thing though, service was a little iffy but not too bad. I definitely would be back to try more things. If they stay consistent with their pastries, it would be a 5 star read more

What a large bakery to sit and chat! My biggest grief is the pricing is very high compared to any other Asian bakery. The croissants were $5 each but didn't look crispy artisan. I feel like I could get similar croissants in bulk at Costco. However they have interesting flavors and would be an easy grab and go for a family looking for a variety of baked goods in one spot. They have beautiful displays of yummy looking pastries, lots of choice still available around 3pm which I was surprised, but happy about. They offer cake slices (too expensive at almost $10), macarons, small items, large items and also doughnuts. We tried some of their croissant options and they were good, they do have a large coffee menu and plenty of seating. The store is nice and modern and service was very helpful and friendly. The only downside is, there is no 15min free pickup parking. We scanned the code and they wanted $6.50 for parking, there is no information in the garage if the store validates or not, so we ran in, got our items and ran back out. The garage is tight and honestly, $6.50 seems ridiculous for an hour of coffee if you want to sit down. I would suggest better signage (if you actually validate) and maybe ask the building to offer 2x free 15min parking options for a quick drop in visit. read more

Extremely pleasant place to sit an eat some sweet French treats. Sugar and Coffee on a rainy Seattle day are a good combination. The location is cozy and cute and perfect for lounging and studying. The a la carte option is interesting and it reminds me of getting doughnuts at QFC. My preference is having a staff person use tongs to put the baked goods in a bag for hygiene purposes. The selection of pastries is beautiful and I love seeing the displays. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving as the taste of the croissants and smaller deserts look better than they taste. It's hard to know whether this is a French bakery or a French inspired Asian style bakery. I would assume the latter as the bake was a tad softer on the croissants and the flavors more mellow with the cream and fruits. In essence, some of the flavor profiles reminded me of a Chinese pastry shop in Chinatown. Service was great. I think I just had to adjust my expectations regarding eating French bake goods instead of a fusion. Nonetheless, they tasted good and I appreciate the visuals. From the weird 'serve yourself over here but wait for service over there' design, to the worker yelling at us from the cash register to ask if we are ready (when we are obviously looking at pastries), this was a customer service miss. Interior was a battle of black and white patterns. Tried two pieces of cake and one almond croissant for $25. Cheesecake went in the garbage, and the chocolate cake with surprise rice crispies was off-putting. The almond croissant was bland and not at all flaky. I am very familiar with Paris baguette I'm from Arizona so there was a pair of baguette and H Mart back home so I am very familiar with this place and I love their bakery goods. I have been here six times already every time I go there I always get amazing customer service. I love the honey bread and the sweet potato bread. It is delicious and so moist and good die for for me. I'm not a big sweet person so I tried to find something that less sweet. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Really nice bakery café -- bright, clean, and full of light from the corner windows. Everything in the case looks fresh and inviting. The pastries are excellent. Classic French style with a bit of an Asian twist, baked fresh right there. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients or quality. Prices are on the higher side, but honestly worth it. First day and they already lost me as a customer. I drove by and there were two huge banners saying now open. There is no dedicated close parking, so I parked far away and walked there. As I entered, the place was full of people , but I was told we can't enter as it closed for a friends and family event. The pastries were actually pretty good, one of them not so much but the rest very pleasant, the service however! Horrible. I paid for my pastries and they asked me if I wanted them heated up. I said yes, 15 minutes later, 10 of those minutes with my pastries, sitting on top of the oven slowly cooling back down, After he had waited on five other customers, somebody else finally stumbled by to box up my pastries that were no longer very warm. Very impressed with our first experience here! We heard they were opening on Thursday and we showed up around 11:15. Despite having just opened that day they were pretty polished! I didn't know what to expect from Paris Baguette and the name made me expect for it to be a super traditional French bakery but it was actually more like a fusion with a Japanese panya. There was so much variety of sweet and savory pastries. I think our favorite was the BBQ chicken pizzetta but our kids really liked the Hash Brown Bread with ham and cheese. We also had the cream puffs and the garlic croissants and they were very good! The pepperoni pizzetta was also really good but it couldn't compare to the BBQ chicken one. The curry croquettes were pretty good but not exceptional. The only thing we weren't wild about was the crab croquette. Overall the vibe was very relaxed and the amount of variety was amazing. The prices actually seemed pretty reasonable which is impressive given the space just across from the Redmond downtown park. We will definitely be visiting again! read more

I prepaid for an order and selected a 1:00 pm pickup. Due to an unforeseen personal issue, I arrived about an hour late. When I arrived, staff spent 10-15 minutes trying to locate my order, then I was asked to wait another 20 minutes. I was then told by the store manager, Spencer, that because I was late, the kitchen had discarded my prepaid order. I received no call or message notifying me this would happen, and there was no apology. The interaction was dismissive and rude. If there is a policy to throw away prepaid orders after a certain time, customers should be clearly informed at checkout. The lack of communication and basic customer service was very disappointing. They get all their goods frozen from cisco and just bake them. They bake all night long and makes the neighborhood unlivable. They should have been in the mall or industrial area, not right smack middle of a residential neighborhood polluting 20 hours each day. You are just as good buying frozen croissants at QFC and baking them yourself, will taste better and be fresher than this place. Also, their coffee absolutely sucks. read more

We decided to try Paris Baguette again recently. I made the mistake of attempting to park in the garage since I had found the parking validation information hidden in the store last time. The parking validation information was still hidden on a post where you had to partially block the checkout line to read and scan the QR code. The procedure seemed to be that you would buy the parking and then you would get a refund using the QR code in the store. We paid for the parking and then attempted to scan the QR code. We tried multiple times but the QR code would never scan. Eventually after standing there for 10 minutes trying to get the refund an employee came by and informed us the QR code didn't work and they were trying to get it fixed. They recommended we go talk to the staff of the Charles to see about getting a new QR code to fix the problem. We shouldn't be the ones fixing the parking problem and the store should have updated the parking information to indicate that validation wasn't working. So my eventual order cost me an extra $6.50 for the parking fee. Suffice to say I won't be parking to visit this store again and likely will not visit again anytime soon. There are bakeries in Redmond that I like better without this kind of hassle. read more
