Every time we visit Palm Springs from Los Angeles we visit Michael for cuts and treatments. We are always greeted at the salon with warmth and professionalism- as well as cold water with fresh mint from Michael and Nathan's garden. The salon is light, bright, clean and beautiful. Michael is talented and really cares about giving his clients not only a great haircut, but a great experience on the whole. Worst Salon I've been to ruin my hair my braking off and coming out out in balls. Very overpriced for there services. My hair was completely clown red instead of the red it was supposed to if Nathan did not follow what I had told him three times. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I hired Nathan to do my hair and makeup for my wedding in San Diego, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. He was SO amazing to work with, both on the day of and in the time leading up to it. He was responsive to my calls and emails with regards to what I was looking for, and was patient in my trials as I decided what look I was going for and brought him gazillions of pictures and ideas. On the day of the wedding, he was such a professional yet at the same time calming and fun presence as my girls and I were getting ready (this isn't necessarily something you think of beforehand, but let me tell you--it is crucial to have someone you "click" with because you're hanging out with them for 8hrs on the biggest day of your life!). My hair and makeup turned out PHENOMENAL...he somehow knew to kick up the drama and intensity even more so than our trials, and it was absolutely, 100% perfect with the full look with my veil and dress. My girls all got their hair and makeup done by him, and they looked stunning, too--he is truly a master at his craft, and I am SO lucky I happened to stumble upon him and book him for my wedding! I had him travel down from Palm Springs to San Diego, and the pricing was super reasonable for everything we received. I could go on forever singing Nathan's praises, but to sum it up: he is an AMAZING hair and makeup artist/stylist, a wonderful person in general, and I would recommend him without reservation for any special event, glam night out, or wedding. Always afraid to look for a hairdresser during my "snowbird" hiatus. Checked the ratings on this place through Yelp and said, "What the heck, I'll give it a try. I read about Nathan and how he listened to his clients and that he saw potential if "I could just get my hands into that hair." I was and still am delighted with his creation. Now I'm training my regular hairdresser about the look I want her to achieve.
