    Front of Tiny's - a classic since 1947!

Michelle at the bar made these two out of towners feel straight at home. We saw the marquee and were lured in by a third Monday 19-piece jazz band, had some spicy nachos and were in heaven. Loved the experience; an alt-Santa Fe (or classic Santa Fe?) experience.

Excellent carne adovada nachos! I've been on the hunt for a big pile of nachos for awhile now and these hit the spot. The server was very helpful and attentive and it was a nice laid back atmosphere.

Tiny's is a family-owned and operated Santa Fe institution in operation since 1947. Walking inside is a bit like stepping back in time to an old-fashioned bar/dining room scene. They have great live entertainment and a dance floor all offered without a cover. They have a full bar offering and an extensive menu. This place definitely has a local vibe that says you have arrived at a special place that has been around for a long time. We really enjoy visiting Tiny's and know we can always stop by on a late night for a full meal or something as simple as nachos. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel like you've been there 100 times. Our nachos. pictured here, came complete with fresh jalapenos, sour cream, guac, and cheddar. We added the Carne Adovada for an extra kick. The chips were crispy and delicious, we only wish the amount of cheese and other goodness had been more equal to the number of chips on the plate and we would have finished that off rather than leave a plate with naked chips when we were done. Our last visit was on a slow night, but if you go on a night with live music and dancing you will not be sorry. And, if music and dancing aren't your things, check out the patio for a quieter, more intimate experience. It's a great time with good food and makes an enjoyable evening. Tiny's will always be our go-to for consistently good bites and fun date nights.

I've been to Tiny's since the Time the owners had the train running and their pictures were on the wall. It was always said Santa Fe does politics at Tiny's. Tonight I had the awesome Grilled steak and Enchilada especiale, everything was cooked to perfection, the enchilada Red Chile sauce like homemade, plenty of queso. Rice and beans awesome!

This place is exceptionally clean to have such an old cash register.

I can't say that this place wasn't good, but it certainly wasn't great. Other than the cleanliness, that is. I walked in and they had a wonderful live music set, with a young woman that had quite a voice. There were draft beer options, the menu stated, but I certainly never saw a tap anywhere. I ended up with bottles. The bartender, a veteran server, was incredibly kind. She certainly knew many of the regulars, and voiced a great deal of gratitude for her tip. Overall, if you are walking down Cerrillos and want to pop in, I suggest it. Or if you know a performing artist there. It gets the job done.

The topped the burrito with green and red sauce... delicious!!! The flour tortillas were warm and soft awesome. As for the service... not good! Just call it mango juice because that is what it was. The only bright spot of the entire meal was our waiter. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely great. I ordered the barbacoa plate, which came with four incredibly tiny tacos and beans. For $22, I was honestly shocked at how little meat was in each taco. Maybe a tablespoon at most. On top of that, the barbacoa had so many burnt pieces that they completely overpowered the flavor. I could barely taste anything besides char. I only finished it because I was starving. The beans were somehow even worse. They tasted like plain boiled beans with absolutely no seasoning. Not even salt. My girlfriend ordered the chicken enchiladas with mole for $28, and they were just as disappointing. It was basically two tiny rolled tortillas with the chicken sitting next to them instead of inside them. It made no sense. The mole sauce was decent, but it leaned much sweeter than savory. The only thing we left talking about was how disappointed we were. For the prices they charge, the portions and quality were nowhere close to worth it. We actually stopped at the Valero down the street afterward so I could grab a Milky Way ice cream because I was still hungry. That ended up being the best part of the night. Restaurant was beautiful too I guess.

I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.

The red has that deep, earthy flavor with just the right kick, while the green brings a brighter, roasted heat that balances everything out. Together? That classic "Christmas style" combo that hits on every level. The masa was soft and flavorful (not dry like you get at some places), and the filling was generous and well-seasoned. The sides sealed the deal--fluffy Spanish rice, hearty beans, and a fresh, crisp salad that cut through the richness perfectly. Portion size was solid, presentation was clean, and everything tasted like it was made with care--not rushed, not watered down for tourists.
