Don't believe the hype! Kathy is sweet, I knew it was her 1st time. I usually give a pass for 1st timers. They're learning. After the 3rd time cutting into my skin and hitting my toe on the gel machine, which I told her twice; the LED light was burning my skin. I WAS SO OVER IT! Bae, did my gel manicure. BLAH! 1st off I was over her to begin with when she told my daughter to shhhhh!! When my daughter was telling me a story about her day at school. me: BISH! don't ever shhh my kid. You're rude, with that type of attitude you need to find another job. I wanted to leave and not finish my set after that, but It wasn't fair to the other ladies doing my girls nails. To top it off i had 2 nails chipped, bae informed me about the chipped nails. She said she'll super glue it. I said ok, I had this done before at other salons. What blew my mind when I seen the bill an extra $10?!?!? I was like WTF!! Why am I being charged $10. Bae; that's for the nail repair. If I knew that, I could've super glued it myself. She forgot to mentioned nail repair is $5 per nail. I paid and ran the hell outta there with my kids. NEVER AGAIN, bae did a shitty job, my gel is already peeling off . $97 what a waste. I've been here twice and had a great experience both times. First time I got gel nails and they lasted a lot longer than other gels I've gotten. Loved the color selection as well!! This time I went for a basic mani-pedi (super affordable prices!) and got great service. I've never been big on getting my nails done due to past experiences at other salons treating me poorly due to being a masculine presenting lesbian. I came in as a walk in a few months back and was taken care of by bae. She was extremely kind and even gave me her person phone number for future appointments or questions. Nice nail and more salon. Everything from manicures, pedicures, 15"-30" neck and back massages to full massages. They also do eyebrow waxing and lash extensions (I have not tried) and facials (I have an appointment next week to check out). Yesterday we were here for a spa pedi (over an hour treatment) which included a warm foot bath, moisturizer for your feet and calves, foot/calves massage, scrub and polish. I have been coming to Tip Line Nails with my friend for a couple of years now so this review is long overdue. I got the Deluxe Pedicure yesterday and after 3 months was definitely in need of it. After soaking my feet for about 20 minutes the technician cleaned up my cuticles, gave me a nice calf and foot massage (including hot stone) and put a mint mask on my calves which felt nice and cool. I got a really happy looking color on my toes and now all is right with the world. If you are concerned about Covid, Bea has gone through all the necessary protocol steps to make sure her salon is safe so there is no need for concern. Stopped by here spur of the moment. They took me in right away. The owner Bea and Anna, who did my nails, were so nice. It's been forever since I got an acrylic and she told me to try dip powder. She took her time and really took care of me. I love how they turned out especially for such a reasonable price. UPDATE: after coming back again, I thought I'd share my true feelings since the last one, she made me write a review before I could leave. Thought I'd give them a second chance cus in the picture posted, I asked for oval and that's clearly not it but they were nice. And I regret coming back. I trying asking for oval acrylic again. She removes my previous set and then I notice she's going to just start painting my nails. I'm shy but I knew it just wasn't right so I say I'm sorry I wanted acrylics again. She goes "mhmm" and continues! So I'm like wait no I would like acrylics.. long nails please, then all of a sudden Bea comes running over and I have all 4 employees in the store standing over me and she says "you'll be fine." Bea, who is the owner of the nail shop did my full set nails. She did a horrible job. She wouldn't paint my nails right. The red color was all over the place and not covering the full nail. She would continue to paint my nails over and over instead of removing after I asked her too multiple times. A lot of lint was all over the nails. Then, she would put my nails into the machine that dries the gel. I had to ask her to redo multiple times. She refused. The color came out faded and didn't look like gel at all. I ended up with acrylic and gel overlapping the nails onto the side of my fingers. I refused to pay for such a horrible job. The lady who did my pedicure took almost two hours on my feet. She would move from one girl to another girl and didn't finish my pedicure. She left my feet in the water till they looked very wrinkled. This was the first and last time I'll go here.. read more

This is the worst place I've EVERY been. My nails look gross. They cut my fingers... yes I said fingers with the file and with the drill then sprayed it with alcohol and continued as if nothing happened. They use the nail drill on my feet. Both toenails and my skin as a the callus remover. My nails are lumpy and has sooo many hills and valleys and they polish worst then i do. They used old equipment didn't clean it in between uses.
