She had patience and painted her nails gel (different colors) my daughters request. I got the $40 pedicure and it incudes a sea salt scrub. The massage was amazing. I went in today January 14th 2024, and yes I was about 5 minutes late for my appointment. She said she didn't have time to do my wax because there was somebody waiting. But the person wasn't there when I got there. And I'm thinking I'm a paying customer as well. And what kills me is their sign says walk-ins welcome. But that's all right. Next time I will try Bliss nails. Very disappointed today. And I had to keep asking her to go shorter on my toe nails. They used to be really good before their vacation when they were gone for 4 weeks last September. That is when I thought they were out of business. Of all the times that I have gone there, THIS WAS THE WORSE. I will try Bliss Nails next time and do a comparison Between the two. They are both very close to my house. Tip Top used to be very good. I don't know what happened. They need to listen to the customer. Not only did I have to keep asking her to keep going shorter, my nails aren't totally even, not too bad, but not the way that I like it! VERY DISAPPOINTED TODAY!!!. They did a good job the previous times I have been there. And I also felt she was rushing because of the person that was waiting. She was trying to use the file to make my nails even when she should have been using the nail cutter. If I could cut my nails on my right foot I would not need Tip Top nails or any other nail place to do my nails. Let me start by saying that the place is unsanitary spa chairs are old and dirty they don't use disposable plastic bags for the bowls and seems like they use the same dirty sponge to wash out the bowls when done, waxing room dirty as well I honestly think they don't even switch out the stick to apply the wax , manicure area is dirty have other people's nail clippings left to the side of the working station , also they're manicure and pedicure tools don't look sanitized also seems like they don't switch out the tools , this whole shop just needs a good cleaning and the owner and employees need to practice good HYGIENE they need to do better on SANITIZING the entire shop and need better CUSTOMER SERVICE They're nail polish variety is not great that goes for the gel polish as well But I guess you get what you pay , right ? Oh where do I begin? My mom was recommended by someone to go to this establishment for eyelash extensions. I went along and let me say, this is the most disgusting and unsanitary nails/lashes business I have ever walked into. Some dude working on a woman's nails asked what we needed and my mom told him lash extensions and he just nodded and went back to doing what he was doing. As we waited for like 10 minutes, NOBODY came to assist us. 2 more employees walked jnto the room and didn't acknowledge us neither. Mind you, there were only 3 customers in there. The pedicure spas looked like they could give you fungus, and about a few of them weren't even cleaned! Unacceptable, we had to leave. I would much rather pay more money than to give a business like this money. Y'all need to work on customer service and making your business clean/comfortable to be in. read more

Let me start off by saying this, the place is a bit run down and has improvements that need to be done. First things first, the space itself is big and there is no crowding. When I walked in there were two ladies waiting to have their sets done. I was able to be sitted right away due to me being the only person having a pedicure done. I immediately noticed that their nail polish section needs help, but I took my own polish anyway so whatever. They have signs up around the nail polish station that state that if you drop it, you pay $3 for the bottle. (And, you can tell some people have dropped nail polish because the evidence is on the wall). The lady that attended my feet was nice and polite. But, let me just say that she had me guessing. When she was done, the job was perfectly fine. My toes were shaped evenly and the polish was applied without error. The price of my pedicure was $17 with $5 extra for callous remover, so my damage was $22. Now, let me also say this, they are not fancy when it comes to pedicures I guess because they were not shoving services down my throat like the salons do in LA. No sea salt or sugar scrubs, paraffin wax, hot rocks, clay mask...nothing nada zinc zilch nuthin okay. It looks like they throw down when it comes to your full sets and designs, gel nails, etc. Now, in order for me to return and remember you as a business, these are the type of services that you offer. The lady being absent-minded and simply forgetting to mention these is not good for business. As the consumer, at least give me the option to decline versus not having the services at all. They only real complaint that I have is the moldy water smell near my particular spa chair. I didn't smell it at first but when she drained the dirty water out of the foot bowl, that's when I smelled it. This place has the potential to be great, but maybe their money is funny. read more

Absolutely, horrible!! I went to a nail shop in Palmdale, CA and received a gel manicure. I live in Lancaster (pretty close to Tip top nails). I decided to go to Tip Top nails to get my nails redone without gel polish. I was charged 5 extra dollars to "remove the gel polish" and they ruined my nails. They used a nail drill to remove the gel polish instead of soaking my nails. My nails are worn down, brittle and I had to keep cutting them. My goal was to grow long and healthy nails, but unfortunately it will take months to reach my goal. Another observation, This nail shop discriminates against persons who are only receiving a manicure. They will make you wait significantly longer to be served if someone else walks in who wants more than a manicure. I know this is a business, but they do not truly care about their consumers. I was extremely dissatisfied. Save yourself some time and drive to another nail shop who will do a better job and appreciate you!! read more

Only to get charged $16 for a 7 min pedi even though I waited for 20 minutes. Not only was it short and unpleasant but the female that attended me was extremely rude. She rushed everything only because they got more customers an hour in a half before closing with only 4 workers. That wasn't a reason to give poor service. Never going back. I went two days ago to get my nails done, I did not have an appointment and they took me in right away. I got a pedicure, I didn't get her name but she did OK very simple pedicure. So I told him I wanted to get my nails done and have a full set. While I was getting my pedicure, the lady was sitting on the chair next to me, Asked me if I wanted coffin full set. I said yes I wanted coffin full set. So she started doing my nails now mind you I don't usually get my nails done, she started putting the press ons,and asked her if those were the coffin nails she said yes. She was very nice we started chitchatting and I noticed that she was doing some around and some straight, I asked her again and I said I want it coffin not round, It seemed to me she wanted to suggest me getting around but I said I wanted coffin. She told me go wash your hands and I said I don't want around I said coffin. She said I had told her round which i did not, I told her I said at least three times I wanted coffin style. She started filing my nails very abruptly and made my left thumb hurt then she painted them with gel nail polish which looks really sloppy then she sends me to wash my hands and when I came back someone was already sitting in the chair getting their nails done. She said she was done. I wanted matte Black nail polish which my pedicure was even though their Matte Topcoat wasnt turning them matte, I wanted my nails in matte as well but they said no no no matte, gloss is better. Honestly I am not confrontational I paid and I left to days later I'm still taking off the glue out of under my nails and my friend who I showed them to said they were not cute I would probably go back for the pedicure but not for my nails. read more
