Got a full set gel x manicure. I will not recommend this place or be going back…read more 1. The technician's station was dirty. Nail clippings were on the towel and tools out when I sat down. I asked if the tools were sterilized and he ignored the question. The UV curing lamp was greasy on the inside. 2. I showed a picture of what I wanted, they came out nothing like it. The shape is off and color was not right. I was offered chrome for an upcharge after my service began. I also did not get any of the usual manicure services included. He just pushed back my cuticles and began applying the plastic nails. When completed, I was left with excess hardened gel all over my fingers and misshapen nails despite saying multiple times they were crooked. 3. It's been 12 hours since I got the manicure and 1 nail popped off. The positive is the front desk woman. She was polite and helpful in choosing a color comparable to what I was looking for and helped find my technician when he disappeared. When I showed her my nails she was apologetic but no discount or offer to fix them was made. Huge waste of money and time here.

This time I had time off during the day so chanced it, still had to wait, but it wasn't long. The unfortunate part was my nail tech, he was very antsy, spilled things, sped through, even nicked me a couple of times. I had an acrylic fill in and it's was bumpy and very uneven barely sanded. It was the worse manicure I have ever had. I would consider going back, but not to him. Sorry I did not catch his name, but I don't like sharing names.

Brittany has been able to give me beautifully differentiated, natural color that has drawn many compliments. I've been coming to Brittany for 5+ years and plan to keep on coming back!!

I called the corporate in Colorado Springs and am writing an email to Gina Rivera. I am 50 and…read moreseeing stylists is not my first rodeo. However, this time, it was with my 16 year old daughter. I will start by saying, it's my fault for not walking out. People will only treat you the way you allow them to. We were short on time and Heather Brazier was cheaper by $20 than our other options. I will even go so far as to say somehow we asked something stupid. At the end if the day, customer service is at the heart of a stylists job. We left the store glad to be gone. My daughter's hair was still wet. Heather pulled at it from beginning to end. (NOTE: she cheers and has a tough scalp from all the ponytails etc) Before we started Heather was combative. She repeated the same thing over and over in a very angry tone - at least 10 times. No joke! I even asked her if she was having a bad day?! She said she didn't want to be blamed for it not turning out like we were thinking. She said she busy and efficient. In our texts prior I asked her if she took credit cards, she said yes. When we arrived, she had a sign that said it would be an additional 4% for cards. When I asked, she said, "You are going to pay that fee, not me!" After talking to my daughter in the hallway, we let her proceed. She was done in less than an hour. (She had a 10:30 appt; we were there at 9:30, and after all the "discussion" she didn't start until 9:45, at best.) she charged us $70. I left her $5 tip because my daughter was afraid she was going to yell at us again. Shame on me for not leaving. Shame on her for turning what should have been a relaxing, enjoyable time for my daughter, into the worst case scenario ever. Heather, it's not what you say sometimes, it's how you say it.

I expected to be at the salon for at least 3.5-4 hours. The appt time listed 3 hrs 45 minutes. I was there about 4 hours 15 minutes, which I thought was long but sort of expected. At the end, they told me the price, I paid with a card and the receptionist told me a receipt would be sent to my email. Once I reviewed the email receipt, I was confused and annoyed. Apart from the balayage cost and cut and style cost, there were additional charges. They charged an extra $20 per 15 minutes over the expected time, $40 total. They charged a credit card fee of ~$9. They charged $24 for "extra color". They charged a 5% extra tip on top of the tip I gave "to cover stylist taxes" (apparently this is preselected on the tipping screen and if you don't notice and unselect it gets immediately added). Almost $70 of extra, hidden charges. None of this was discussed. I feel all of these extra charges are misleading and frankly, shady. I called to discuss this and the receptionist stated "we do charge about $100/hr so the service was actually charged less than we should have charged." Like, what? Then advertise and charge that upfront! I have no problem paying for services rendered, but price transparency is important to me. I would have been a regular customer because I did like the salon experience, but this business practice makes me hesitate to go back. I assume this is something that prevents many first-time customers from returning...
