I was here for the first time on Thursday night, it was almost completely empty only three other tables were being used. I ordered the steak taco the price for one taco was $6.80. When my order arrived I had to search for the steak and not exaggerating there were three pieces of steak and each piece was no bigger than a lima bean! The tortilla was filled with mostly lettuce some cheese a lot of sauce and almost no steak. My friend also ordered the steak taco and she had 4 very small pieces of steak. My advice to the owner, if you don't want to put steak in the taco don't offer a steak taco. For almost $7 I expect to have a good portion of meat. My daughter ordered the shrimp quesadillas, she got a few good size pieces of shrimp but it was also extremely overpriced. Needless to say I will not return. Our friend who had been here before said she was trying to give them another chance but after this time nobody in our group will be returning. The only reason for one stars was the queso was good. Also wait staff seemed irritated when asked to clear some of the dishes after we finished, and she only took two plates and ignored a person in our group who tried to hand her another plate. No other dishes were removed from our table before we left, so we sat visiting with a table crowed with finished dishes. read more

Drove all the from Texas for our son's soccer tournament. We actually went to Tipsy Taco 2 days in a row because it was so great! The 1st night was Thursday and my husband and I had to watch the Dallas Cowboys game. There was no wait and we went straight to the bar. Both bartenders were attentive and the manager came around to greet us and engage in small talk. The next night was Friday and we were a total 10 adults. It was ridiculously busy and being only open for less than a week the younger male manager seemed overwhelmed. Anita then stepped up was absolutely amazing!! The owner/ GM recognized my husband and I (from the night before) and went around the table to get our drinks and chips/salsa. It was a great night and all of us soccer parents from Texas were pleased how Anita and the GM/Owner stepped up! There customer service was 100% in point!! I would like to update this review two years later. Out of all the taco places nearby, I have to say that tipsy taco has the best food. The menu is imaginative and the people are really nice. 28 degrees outside and you would expect to have heat in a restaurant but not at Tipsy Taco. Make sure to bring your heated blankets and heated clothing cause they do not care the heat was on or not. The waitress said that the heat was broken and that they were told that there was no need in fixing the heat cause summer would soon be here! I could not believe my ears. Anyway everyone was asking about the heat it was crazy cold and food was not very hot. The air was even blowing out cold air! So make sure you wait to go when it is hot outside and the air is good and cold. But I do recommend waiting cause my wife was freezing along with other customers that were very disappointed. Very unacceptable as a restaurant! $85 dollars for us to eat and no heat!! read more

I took my niece to Tipsy Taco for her 26th bday. It was my first time being in the old Copper River building. They have it decorated Tipsy Taco style with bright colors, they also have a full bar. For our appetizers we ordered the chicken nachos and the guacamole and chips. The chicken nachos looked better than they tasted, they were only ok, with chunks of tender and tough pieces of chicken, with melted cheese, chopped tomatoes and sour cream. The guacamole was good, the chips were crispy and fresh. We ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. We had to try a"beverage "so we decided on the frozen margarita flight, two original margaritas a strawberry and a mango chili margarita. The chicken enchiladas was ok, it had the same chicken chunks in them, it too looked better than it tasted. I didn't really like the texture of the tortillas it was like they had been boiled. The drinks were a little strong, but they were good. I will go back, but not for the chicken enchiladas. read more

Came in to grab some chips and salsa & cold Beverage. Everything was cold but was told could not get a draft ultra because it would be too foamy. Order the chips and salsa I was very displeased with the flavor of the salsa. I was told the recipe had just changed A month ago. Very disappointing to say the least. additionally the chips were way too greasy for my liking. Sent them back but had to question if it was normal to be charged for a returned item. Amazing service. We sat with Albert. She is personable, kind, and witty. She made our experience extremely joyful and fun. The food was amazing. We ate pretty late, around 9:30pm, near closing and they accommodated us well. 5/5!!!! read more

Ordered take out and it was fresh and hot! I had the steak fajitas and they were very tender and had good flavor. My husband had the grilled chicken nachos and he enjoyed them, just wished they had more queso. Over all we would eat here again but the food is pricy so it would not be an often occurrence. read more

Went to Tipsy Taco to give it a try. Wasn't impressed with the service at all. The waitress got 2 of our orders wrong. The food wasn't what I expected, the more I ate the worse it got. At the end of dinner we proceeded to pay mine and my wife's bill and all I can say pay attention because they will get you for gratuity. We actually gave the waitress a good tip along with gratuity that I didn't see. So, all I can say I tried, I went, and I won't be back. Got an opportunity to visit yesterday for the first time, I read the reviews and seemed good enough. I was surprised, reviews were pretty much on point. The food was good, not the biggest fan of tacos but I really enjoyed it. The service was spot on, Becca was just awesome. And now the drinks, really good prices, really good tasting. Just a little small on the mixed drinks but still delicious. They even had a PBR!!! My kind of place!!! read more
