This IS the best thai food in greater Nashville. When you walk in, the smell hits you and omg your mouth will start watering. If they could then that into an air freshener i would eat the air freshener, and use in my house. Delicious basic stuff like pad thai, cashew chicken and all the normal good thai. They use good meat, LOTS of toppings and seasonings...and the chicken wings are u real good. Great friendly service, never a long wait, tv's...bht seriously tasty. The does not resemble Thailand at all except for the Buddha Statues. The place looks really new and very clean however. There is a good selection of food on the menu. My family of 5 ordered Hibachi and Thai style fried rice with shrimps, and Seafood Tom Yum soup. I personally ordered Thai Tea for my drink which is really good IMO. Food has been hit or miss here. Larb is bland and actually pretty bad. Massaman curry was also bland. However, I've eaten here in the past and it's been good. Unsure if I can really recommend because I've had equal amount of good and bad experience here. read more

Is there a way to give 6 stars? Absolutely loved our experience. We ordered Edamame, Coconut Shrimp, Pad Thai, and Red Curry Chicken (along with a bucket of beer). Truly the best Thai Food we've had since moving to Tennessee 2 years ago. The owner was waiting on our table; really nice guy, great conversation and attentive, but he also gave us time to just enjoy our food. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Had lunch here after church and was very satisfied with good food, good service, friendly staff, bright place and very clean bathroom . We ordered Crab Thai fried rice, Shrimp Pad thai, sweet chili wings and thai tea. The servings were good for 2 - 3 people so no need to cook tonight. The owner incited us to have our picture taken at their "selfie wall" to be added to their "wall of patrons". Thanks and hope to be back whenever we are in Mt Juliet. read more

Absolute waste of money. Fried veg eggroll didn't have any veg. Soft summer roll was fresh but so full of lettuce and carrots it wasn't worth it. Noodles were way overcooked in every dish. One dish was just a glob of noodles. Another dish looked like shredded meat but it turned out to be yet more overcooked noodles and a dash of chicken bouillon. Don't recall having seen that on the menu, much less ordering that, but that's what we received. Gyoza were...interesting. Not sure what spices were used but the only thing we tasted was ginger and more of it. Green Curry tasted remarkably like the overcooked noodles with a dash of chicken bouillon plus some coconut milk. Sticky rice was a puck (same size of one too) wrapped in Saran Wrap. Ten seconds after opening we probably could have hammered nails. The best part of my meal was the fresh bean sprout I found. read more

Whenever I know I'm going somewhere I don't normally visit, the first thing I do (literally, the very first thing!) is hop onto Yelp and look for interesting places to eat. I came across Tipsy Thai, which is a new restaurant in Mt. Juliet. It ticked all the right boxes for me: excellent customer ratings, excellent health ratings, ethnic (huge plus for me), plus dishes that I don't usually see on other restaurants' menus. I was there today for a business lunch, and wow, I was blown away. The place is immaculately clean, our server was wonderful, and the food had really authentic, complex flavors. I had the Thai Ginger Stir Fry with shrimp, which was crazy delicious. It was a smaller serving than I expected, and I think it could have benefitted from a few more shrimp, but all in all, it was a solid dish. Heat levels are 1-4, and I ordered a 3 which was perfect for me; in fact, I think I could have gone up to Thai-Na-Mite (#4). We asked our server about dessert, and my ears perked up when she mentioned Limoncello cake. I love anything lemon! OMG, y'all, this was a lemon cake layered with lemon custard, sprinkled with blueberries, and a drizzle of raspberry sauce. Heaven on a plate! It was light and refreshing, and the lemon flavor was spot on. I also ordered some pork Pad Thai for tomorrow, so I'll need to update with my thoughts on that. Tipsy Thai made a huge impression on me, and I'll definitely be back. Now, I'm off to find reasons to visit Mt. Juliet more often, so I can return to this awesome Thai restaurant! Keep up the great work, Tipsy Thai! UPDATE! I had the Pad Thai for lunch today. I must say that it didn't travel and store well in the fridge. The heat was on the back side, and was lingering, but I think spending several hours chilled may have dampened the spice level a little and fiddled around with the flavor. Ordering this as lunch the next day was a tactical error on my part. I'm sure the dish is best served fresh. It's not an issue for me in that now I have a good reason to return to Mt. This place offers shiitake noodles to substitute in the noodle dishes, and it is life changing for Thai lovers that need low carb options! AND as in their pad Thai style, it was so great! We have eaten here regularly over the last six months - normally once per week. We love the food and the friendly, welcoming staff. The restaurant is clean and the staff will accommodate you if you want to sit in particular seats. The menu is varied enough to keep you coming back to try different options - though I'm sure you'll soon find a favorite. (I'm a particular fan of the Massaman Curry and the Pad Thai.) If you don't like it spicy you'll need to tell the staff, because the default is medium and has a bit of a 'kick'. Try Tipsy Thai.. your taste buds will thank you! read more

Awesome Thai place that's modern and serving hard to find true Thai dishes. You can adjust the heat by the spice caddies they have too. Highly recommend if you're in the area. So far I've had the chicken larb, massaman curry and green curry. All were very delicious. read more

Our favorite place! We frequently dine-in and order take out and we've never had anything here we haven't loved. Some of our favorites dishes are the Thai chili wings, curry pineapple fried rice, red or green curry, Singapore noodles, and the Thai chili basil stir fry.
