It makes me believe the owners or corporate office is not paying their employees what they are worth. As a former waitress during my younger years, this will only make patrons reduce the waitresses tip if they are not bold enough to have it removed. I did not see it listed on the menu either, although most restaurants that partake in this deception has it listed in very small print somewhere on the menu. They were good but a bit overdone. Pizza was a very thin crust, but we like it that way. Unfortunately the crust was also very charred. Not typical brick oven char, but much heavier. My wife could not eat it. She said it must be "an acquired taste". I believe they may just need to clean their brick oven. Restaurant has cute decor and ambience. Not very crowded either with the amazing weather we are having. If you are a brick oven connoisseur this may be the place for you, probably not a restaurant we will frequent in the future.
