    PAD THAI
    Erik B.

This is a hidden gem for Thai in the Nashville area. I always get Pad Thai my first time at a new place and did again. My wife had the drunken noodles. Both were really good and the portions were more than enough. The service was very attentive and was making sure all was good. The restaurant is very clean and I love the wall.

Simple little Thai spot with decent boba and pretty good peanut pad Thai (could be more flavorful but it's one of the better pad Thais I've had in the Nashville area thus far, unfortunately Nashville's Thai seen just isn't it), but the egg rolls and gyoza were pretty bland. Service seemed kind of slow for how small the building it, and it wasn't packed either. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a go but it didn't go down in my top list for local Thai places.

We enjoyed our first dine-in visit to Tipsy Thai. Server said they've been open almost two years, and they highly rely on food delivery by Uber Eats, DoorDash, and GrubHub. We chose Summer Rolls with dipping sauce (don't miss), Tofu Pad Thai, Beef Pad Thai, side salads with ginger dressing, and Thai Fried Rice with Chicken. Tasty and fresh, and appetizing presentation. Choice of hotness. We'd order again. Styrofoam containers offered for take-home food left over. Tip: Bottled Beer Happy Hour, every day. Small outdoor seating area. Good for groups. Private parking lot. Variety of Thai drinks. Online ordering via ToastTab. Facebook page with menu. No website that I could find. Small Gripe: no draught brewskies. While the décor is plain, service is warm and friendly, and promptly served. We will return soon.

This review is strictly for an order I placed through Uber Eats so I do not know anything else besides what I ordered. I attached my receipt so you could see that it was Uber eats and not anything about being inside the restaurant. Let's start with the larb. Unfortunately, it did not taste like the meat had been seasoned at all. It was quite bland and unremarkable. Next, I had the coconut shrimp. The shrimp were nice and toasty, but there was little to no coconut flavor with it. And the amount of dipping sauce only allowed me to dip half the order Into it. It was the highlight of the order. The wings were well sauced and looked like they were gonna be a good bite of food. However, that poor chicken was as dry as a cardboard box. Haven't tried the yakisoba so I cannot comment on that. All of My issues with the food are certainly not because it was delivered. Being in a car does not make chicken dry. I am uncertain if I will try this place again. If I do, it will be by entering the establishment. but what I ordered is probably an indication of what else there is there.

A true gem in Mt Juliet!! My wife and son come here all the time, my first as I am living out of state. I know zero about Thai food but when something is called Beef Fries it is speaking my language! I had the fried rice modded with the beef fries. Insane in the membrane! As you can see from the reviews all the food is excellent. Combine great food with a convivial host and waiter, Jason, and it's lights out on the competition! We are super grateful to have this place in our backyard.

This is a new Thai place here in Mt. Juliet and we really enjoyed the food! We got everything delivered, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself, but they only charge $.99 for delivery! I got the green curry, drunken noodles with steak, an order of steamed gyozas, and a few fried egg rolls. The green curry was delish! This is my go to meal when getting Thai food. The curry was creamy, spicy, and I loved the touch of egg plant in the curry. I've never seen that before! My wife's drunken noodles with steak was a little bland, but she's not a spice lover. We all really loved the steamed Gyoza and eggrolls!

Great little place away from Providence. The service was great. It's been a while since I've had Singapore noodle & this didn't disappoint. Hubby loved his pad Thai. We ordered chicken wings to go for our daughter. But since our dishes were so yummy, decided to order drunken noodles & pad seu to go for dinner that night. All were delicious!

Absolutely the best Thai food we've had in Nashville area. Fried Rice, Larb Salad and Panang curry were all fresh and very flavorful.

Felt the pizza could have been cooked a few minutes more, but that is my liking. It wasn't very busy, but had a lot of staff on hand. When it was slow the pizza makers would sit at the tables in the dining area on their phones, didn't mind that, but wasn't sure if they washed their hands afterwards when it was time to prepare pizza orders. Nice boys who periodically came by the table to see if we needed anything.

One of my favorite restaurants growing up was this family Italian joint called Carmine's. My…read morefavorite thing to order there was what they called spaghetti with meatballs. But, speaking to that, it had a couple of intersting aspects. One, they would literally give you 10-20% more if you ordered that dish to go because their to-go containers when filled were noticeably larger than the dishes your entrees came on. And, two, their "spaghetti" was actually linguine and is 100% the reason linguine is my favorite noodle when it comes to traditional rope pasta. I told you that to tell you this, Fayzano's "linguine" is definitely fettuccine. Those noodles were super wide. Not that that's a huge deal, but much like getting linguine when you're expecting spaghetti, the mouth feel for fettuccine is not the same as the mouth feel for linguine. It holds the sauce different, it retains the clams different, and the proportion of sauce to pasta is super different. I mean--it was good. Clams in red sauce will always be my preferred go-to order, but I still would've rather had the skinnier flat noodles of a linguine than a super wide fettuccine noodle. It's just more satisfying to me. The service here was good. They got our food quickly and with minimum banter. And then they got out of the way, checking in maybe every five to ten minutes, which is the perfect amount. The ambiance was good. It's a good neighborhood pizza and pasta joint like Carmine's. It's not very big but it has a lot of spacing between the tables as not to feel cramped up in there. It's also deceptively laid out to feel fuller than it is, which is nice. It gives the whole place a nice energy. I still wish thru had real linguine, but if that's my chief complaint then you know this place is doing something right.

They gave us our own little room and even helped hang the decorations. The food tasted great. My order was wrong, but the Spring salad was similar enough to the Our Signature salad that it didn't really matter. The menu is pretty extensive: appetizers of all kinds, salads, bowls, soups, burgers, wraps, pizza, even pan-fried Brussels sprouts! Service was decently fast for a party our size. One guest had to remind the waitstaff about his meal, but after that, it was brought out momentarily. Price is as to be expected at this type of restaurant, and we had a 20 percent gratuity automatically added due to our party size. Atmosphere was pleasant with great pop music. Staff happily honored our request to turn the TVs to the Atlanta Braves game.

French Onion soup (cup) - the smallest cup of soup I have ever seen, but my daughter found it lacked the deep, rich, meaty flavor synonymous with French Onion soup and left half of it. Fish tacos - fish to tortilla ratio was on point. The fish tacos were well dressed and the cabbage add a nice crunch. This entree was 10x better than those starters. Bam Bam shrimp - had some crispy texture even though covered in the sauce. It was a solid dish and everyone finished it off. Sides- onion rings and fries. These were standard fare. Shrimp scampi flatbread - did not come out hot and quite flabby. We decided the kitchen was having a bad night. The cocktails were fine, so the bartender was having a better night. The service was quite slow but it was a busy night, so understandable as my daughter and I both worked as servers while in college. There is many parking opportunities here as this restaurant is surrounded by other retail stores and restaurants. I included the receipt in my pictures because I want you to know about the "hospitality fee". I find this disturbing practice is increasing. In my opinion, this practice is deceptive. It makes me believe the owners or corporate office is not paying their employees what they are worth. As a former waitress during my younger years, this will only make patrons reduce the waitresses tip if they are not bold enough to have it removed. I did not see this at the time we were finishing up as we were talking and just trying to get out of the restaurant. I did not see it listed on the menu either, although most restaurants that partake in this deception has it listed in very small print somewhere on the menu. I just avoid these restaurants in Vegas - but never thought Mt. Juliet restaurants would adapt such a practice. Lesson learned.
