Good wine selection and I love that when I'm getting a lot for a party they'll pack it all up securely for me and take it out to my car. Knowledgeable, kind staff. Location is a bit hidden off of Johnson Drive. Pull in by the Applebee's and it's just north of there.

Wow! This will be my party HQ in coming months! They have an extremely large selection and wide variety of microbrews and craft beers. Well organized whiskey, bourbon, blended Scotch and cognacs! The prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely helpful and pleasant!

    Gluten free options galore

We were in Mission already, and I was doing a "search nearby" , and felt compelled to check out Tipsy's. It wasn't even that we needed to go to a liquor store. But the reviews I saw motivated me to pop in, & check the place out for myself. I am glad that I did. Everything I read was validated with my own real life experience. VERY good customer service. Wow. And because the selection at Tipsy's was so good, we DID end up walking out the door with not just one but multiple purchases. I did the walk through, starting on one end, aisle by aisle, and browsed the entire store. And I really was impressed. I managed to find everything I would have wanted , AND additional items that i did not even know existed. I will definitely be going back, even though Tipsy's is not in my neighborhood. If you are looking for gifts - you will find something. Absolutely stop by Tipsy's if you are in need of a beverage related housewarming type gift. They have everything; including the small sample gift sized options. We had a great customer experience. And on my 2nd to last aisle, I caught of glimpse of the cold case beer options - and saw some gluten free beers and ciders. A VERY LARGE selection of them, too. They have New Planet (which is one of my favorites), AND a variety of ciders. Tipsy's is worth the trip if you are not near Mission. And if you are in Mission - you have no excuse.

They recently redid the layout and the selection is better than ever. Glad I've got an awesome liquor store near home I can rely on.

Beer: If you can think of it and it's distributed in Kansas, there's a good chance it's in the freezer or on the floor.

We can always find everything we need, the prices are fantastic, and sometimes my husband can even find a specialty bourbon he's been looking for. The stores are spotless, and full of helpful staff. They also do tastings and you can pay to have a tasting event there too, which looks really fun! If you're in a hurry for your party, you can also pick up cheese, crackers, another various snacks which is very helpful.

Hey, Lukas Liquors was way better to begin with, let's just state that fact. Now we have a generic version of that full of employees chasing you around the store bothering you while you're trying to look at the booze. Then there's the boxes. I buy four bottles of whisky, easily $150 price range. I drive from two hours away to get here. I want a box to put my round bottles in so they won't roll around in the back of the car. They protect these boxes like they're gold. Borderline rude. It's against store policy, I've been told. On this visit, the guy said I could have a box. He selects a tiny little box without dividers and tries to cram four bottles of whisky on top of each other. Come on. Being a wise a$$ he says, "there we let you have a box". I urge corporate to address this issue. The only reason I came, was because I was in the area and wanted a rare bottle. A Total Wine rep may reply to this review stating: they hope they can do better next time. Don't reply unless you can fix the box issue. I'm spending money. I'm a customer. Give me a carton with partitions to get home. They're lying all over the front of the store. Train your employees so they at least know the store policy.

Well, I was working across the street at Parisi and needed to pick up a bottle of wine for my mother in law, and some beer for the house so figured, hey this will save me a trip to MDL and across the street I ventured. The first thing you'll notice is it's clean and a decent size for a neighborhood liquor store. I found it easy to navigate, and they have a decent selection of beer, wine, and liquor to choose from. I found what I was looking for, but I do have to say that the prices are HIGH here. So high, in fact, that I had a little sticker shock and only bought one bottle of wine and one six pack despite initially thinking I'd do a bigger order for the weekend with guests in town. The bottom line about this place is that it's a great resource for folks who live right in the area (though the liquor store around the corner on Santa Fe does have better prices), but it's on the pricey end of things and I think you're paying for both the convenience and how fresh and clean it is inside.
