To say that I am impressed with Top Top Restoration is frankly, an understatement. I am so please with the level of quality, responsiveness and overall professionalism of this company demonstrated in our recent remediation project in our home. We had a shower valve break within the wall resulting in lots of water seepage throughout the bathroom and adjacent rooms. Tip Top Restoration was very responsive in coming out to assess the damage. They immediately began setting up drying units in various rooms and subsequently began demo in our bathroom. They came by many times to check moisture levels and after about a week and a half, they were able to remove all the drying equipment. They worked seamlessly with our insurance company which was a tremendous help. Everything they did was handled in the most professional way. All communication was clear and they worked around my schedule as needed. They took extra care in cleaning up our home after removing the drying equipment and all the plastic covering. Little update s month down the road. Once they received a check...these guys vanished when their was a tone of other work that need to be done. Just a total hack job when it comes down to it. Then what you try to call and complain they either don't answer or return your call back or hang up on you while your talking. My Home in Sylmar had flooded due to a backed up drain line. Apparently my kitchen sink, washer machine, dishwasher and guest bathroom are all on the same line! Just my luck.. I was using the washer machine, dishwasher and kitchen sink when it decided to back and come out of my guest bathroom toilet. I panicked and found Tip Top. I was put in touch with a very well mannered lady, Racquel. Racquel not only referred me to an excellent plumber, but dispatched someone RIGHT AWAY! The same night a plumber came out, rootered my drains, and one of their crews came in and put some machines to prevent mold from spreading! Amazing! Our toilet leaked and flooded our bathroom and bedroom. Dan and the TipTop crew came out almost immediately and I was very pleased. I used to be in the carpet and cleaning business and I know the importance of getting things done ASAP. They put in the fans to dry out the carpets and the pads. They did good on getting everything dried out. We saved the carpet but they tore out the bad part of the pad and that had to be replaced. They were very conscious of what they were doing and had the little machine with them to check the dryness. It was great. There were three different guys that I talked to from TipTop and each one was quite knowledgeable, very friendly and did their jobs really well. We came home to a flooded house we had just finished remodeling. Tip top was there within an hour and immediately got to work. The communication by Sergio. Sam, Robert, and Alex were top notch. They were on top of everything so quickly. They had to rip out tons of dry wall and they set up containments and did the most perfect clean job. There was not dust anywhere else in the house. The guys were courteous, clean, and conscious of my home. It has truly been a calming experience amongst the chaos. I am 100 percent confident I will have no mold issues. I read their reviews after they were here (the plumber that caused the flood called them for me) and I encourage you to ignore the bad reviews. First of all I want to congratulate TipTop Restoration Inc. The fastest response I ever had in my life. I had a real deal problem with a rotten pipe at my crawl space in the area of the living room. One star is too high. Avoid these people. Use Servpro. Beware of this business. I had water damage in August and called this business. I was out of the country and had to totally rely on them. However, I returned unexpectedly early and discovered that after six days on an emergency job they were not actively working at my house. They did not erect containment's around mold areas, sprayed primer on wet wood to try and pass mold tests. After 20 days on the job the mold grew 600% in my home. They removed personal property without making logs, packed dripping wet items in boxes, recycled boxes from other mold remediation jobs, would not respond to requests to see property and returned property with significant damage. They could not even tear off a wet wood floor after four days trying. I was able to get the same floor up in 3 hours. After 20 days on the jib it was clear tiptop was only in this to created more work and run up billing. When I fired them they submitted an outrageous invoice loaded with services never performed. I must say that Tip Top Restoration is the most professional company I've seen when it comes to solving water damage issues at any moment. It has been raining and our neighborhood's drainage got clogged, so the water entered inside a lot of houses, including mine. One of the worst experiences of my life was coming home to see my entire house was flooded. I called a company that was recommended to me by my insurance company which turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. To be fair, they were good in drying out the water that was all over my house. But that was about it. In every room they made a pile of my furniture and didn't even bother to cover them at all. They were cutting walls and tearing out the floor and all of my furniture, my clothes and even my dishes were absolutely filthy. . I found Tiptop while searching online. They came the same day I called and were very professional. Mike (the supervisor) brought 5 guys with him and you could tell they came to work. They split into 3 groups of two and each group focused on a room. They labeled all my clothes and made a list of every single article of clothing I had. They sent most of it to be cleaned professionally because of all the dust and dirt that was in the air. They cleaned the carpets and all the furniture, helped me hang photos and other things on my wall. I actually showed them some pictures that showed how the place was setup before the whole thing with that other company. Overall, they are a great crew that did a great job. Not that it was hard to do better than that other company. I was very concerned about the billing process. The other company overcharged my insurance and I was afraid that they would be hesitant to help me out. I spoke with Dan at Tiptop restoration and he assured me that they would make every effort to ensure that I won't have to pay out of pocket. I was still hesitant when I signed, but when all was said and done I didn't have to pay anything out of my own pocket so I guess they lived up to expectations. The initial containment was done flawlessly fast; the followed-up dry out and demolition was efficient; the finalized mold treatment was professional and odor-free. Furniture was hauled out-n-in right on time. Everything went back to normal just as promised. Does the bookie piles the jobs to the maximum after a rainy week? Yes. Do they come in understaffed at times with outdated equipment? Yes. Do they pull out workers in the middle of the schedule to handle another client call? Yes. Such is the common practice in this industry. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Keep in mind the billing/insurance fiasco is a totally different beast -- one that is full of thorns and sorrow. BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! Terrible. I had a cracked pipe in my shower drain and it leaked under the shower pan and went into the corner of the master bedroom. These guys came out and looked at the situation. They wanted to put in drying machines the next day which they did for 2 days. I had a trip planned so they wanted me to give them the keys to my house. I told them NO WAY so when I got back they came back and told me I had to tear to tile and walls out in my hallway 50 feet from the master bath uphill from the shower, I had to tear out the whole bathroom on the other side of the wall from the master bath once again up hill. They then wanted to tear out all the flooring, wall, parts of the ceiling in my office then the same in the master bedroom. At that point I threw them out and told them they were fired. A second restoration company came out and just removed a corner of flooring in the master (5 inches by 18 inches) one small section of wall and that was it! No mold, no water damage nothing! They sent a bill for $10,000 I told them WTF so then they sent $7,000 and I told them they didn't do 1/2 of what they had listed so they came back with ok this is it. $5,000. I felt like I was on let's make a deal! They have not provided the insurance company with any dry records nor will they send their bill to insurance. I think they realize it would be insurance fraud. They also served me with a pretend lien. Thank god for ring doorbell! It showed everything!!!! Insurance and contractors board found the footage very interesting! Complaint has been filed and hopefully they will fine them or revoke their license. read more

I wanted too say thank you to Típ Top construction for all the work they have done for us and still continued to do for us during our demolition and our mold and Asbestos and water logging and helping us at the start of our sewer issue with he emergency services. They came out the same day and helped explain everything that will happen when insurance comes out and they stood by our side even after they finished there part. They even did the inspection and pack out for us prior to demo work and then after the demo team came, tip top came back into to do their chemical check and clean up and make sure that everything was safe in order for construction to start back working. I also wanted to mention when we were ready to move back into our home, Típ Tops team came and unpacked our items and moved and cleaned everything as they put our home back to what it was before. They took the old trash that was left from demolition as well and really took care of our boxed items that they originally packed and taped and protected. Tony the Forman was super kind and sweet along with the rest of his crew. Cesar and Saul were so kind and carful with everything and I wanted to thank them for working so hard to get our furniture back to the way it was and even cleaned up any dust and mess that was left behind. Típ Top restoration company is a full package deal and I recommend them to anyone who is going through any issue when it comes to their home sewer problems. They really take care of their clients and will deal with any insurance adjusters who are fighting are not so present to work with. I want to thank them for sticking by us and for holding their ground when it comes to insurance companies who give them hard times even though they have proof and good work to back up everything that they do. I know Moriel no longer works for them, but he was the head guy on our case and he helped us for 3 months during everything and took care of all my questions and i can trust him with any issues I may have when it comes to our home. But he gave us great information and help when it came to our home needing safety and clean up before demo started and he even gave us great instructions on how we get through this process especially since this was our first time that this happened to us with our sewer backing up and he assured us that everything will work itself out and was so kind even when our insurance adjuster wasn't kind to him or Típ Top. So this is such a great company who fights for you and what is right and I recommend them to anyone dealing with any kind of insurance issue and non insurance issue when it comes to your home in need of their services. read more

2 weeks ago a water supply line to our master bedroom toilet burst. Water was everywhere. We tried shutting the valve, but it was too tight. My cousin and I couldn't close it. Within minutes the entire restroom was flooded, and water reached the bedroom, the hallway and another room. We searched for emergency plumbing services and couldn't reach a plumbing company. The only ones who answered were the TipTop guys. Ruben, said someone would be here in 45 minutes. As promised, Ruben himself showed up. He arrived in 30 minutes ahead of his team. He went inside the house and took immediate action attaching a bigger Hose to the broken one so it could drain into the shower. Ten minutes later his team showed up with towels, a water extraction vacuum and drying machines. It was amazing to see how organized they were. They knew exactly what to do, and even though it was close to 3AM in the morning all three of them were smiling and very polite. They dried most of the visible water and said they would be back the next day so we could all get some rest. The next day Radu showed up and performed a detailed inspection with some high tech equipment. My cousin and I were shocked to see humidity had seeped into the bathroom vanity and many of the walls near the affected bedroom, not to mention the carpets and hardwood floor. I burst into tears. I worked hard for 15 years to finally own my first house and now i was witnessing what seemed to be irreversible damage. Radu explained to me this damage could be mitigated with his help and the help of the insurance company. I opened a claim and was approved to fix the damage. TipTop took care of everything from beginning to end. They removed the parts of the drywall and carpet that were damaged and replaced them with new materials. They were able to inject air into the vanity in the restroom and save it. When I look back, all I can say is that I'm left with a strong feeling of admiration towards this company and would strongly recommend them to friends and family.
