    Burned hubcap

First of all this place hasn't had any good reviews in almost a year or two. They all date back years ago! Never coming here again after a chain of events that spiralled out of control. I originally called for an alignment. They said they could get it the next morning so I took my car to them. They come back inside to tell me they refused an alignment until I bought a part from them, a front right wheel tire rod, about $100 more than I was paying with labor taxes etc. Just like anyone else wanting their car fixed, of course I say yes to go ahead. A day later when they get the part in, After telling me that was what caused the shaking in the first place, BUT, they wouldn't put the part on unless I paid for the alignment too. It's over $320 at this point. So I say yes again since I want my car fixed . Let me remind you, it was just fine before I took it to them, just a little pulling which mean alignment. Well they said the part would fix it, right? WRONG, if I could upload the videos of my vehicle making the sound of hard medal clanking after paying $320 to them for what they said would fix my car, I would. But instead, I'll upload the pictures of what they have done to my hub cap 4ish weeks later after having to bring it back to them yet AGAIN. I have had to bring my car back to them 3 times now. The loud metal clanking noise I took back to them the FIRST day of services, the 'technician' (if that's what you want to call them), straight up told me to my face he inserted the tire rod the wrong way and had to re-do it. OMG. I was a nervous wreck. 4 weeks later my car has never had the issues it's having with my tires and now a sensor was hit while they were working on it and went bad. Though they claim they didn't touch the front and they claim they didn't take off the tires or touch the back. Well that doesn't make sense cause they had to put the part in and align the tires, sooo WHAT DID THEY DO?! Fast forward , I can't believe the trouble my car has had. And it's been a wonderful vehicle . 2015 Kia and is under 150.000 miles. The manager, Andrew, tried telling us if a car over 150,000 miles the engine light will come on. Are you serious?! My mouth must have dropped because I'm sure I was terrified at this point. This is when they finally said they would take the car and try to fix my tire and ended up keeping it 2 days, and telling me they left the bolts to fix it myself in an envelope in the car and ruining my hub cap they burned! So I get to go buy another one.... $320 later + a $50 hubcap they've caused me some serious damage. I'm so upset , I paid for all this mess. It upsets me because for years myself & My family used Tire Barn but never again. I would NOT recommend taking your car here for even the simplest thing!! Here's the pictures of what they gave my car back and what the tire looked like.

I wouldn't even give this place one star! I bought top the line tires, over $2000 specifically to be safe on our trip from TN to FL 3 weeks later, only to get as far as GA and have my tire nearly come off because 3 of my 5 lug nuts were not even tightened and all three bolts had broken off, thank God we stopped when we did! I have NEVER had an issue with my tires or any of the bolts/lugs and I drove this truck from CA to TN 9 months ago. When we went back to Tire Barn to let them know, the Manager Andrew Carrier would not take ANY responsibility. It was over a month ago... (Uh, no, it was 3 weeks ago, even if it was a month, should I have to check your work after a month?? It's oversized tires??? Really??.. Then Why are you selling them?? You "hand" tighten to the specs of the truck?? .. AND SO ON. We were treated as if this was all our fault..a call was made to the corporate office immediately

Not just a tire shop, they have snacks and drinks here! :P

I've been here a few times now and just from those few visits, I can tell that this will be my primary tire shop from now on (as long as I'm in the area). Guys that work there are super cool and friendly, and both times they were able to squeeze me in last minute. My schedule is crazy so it's hard for me to find time for these kinda things and without even mentioning this to them they literally stand there and calculate their work load and fit me in. And do so in such a nice way. They really do have awesome customer service, which is usually a toss up in places like these. Their prices are REALLY good, and they stand behind their work 100%. My most recent trip they didn't even charge me for checking out my slow tire leak problems. Took them a good 15-20 minutes to do so, I wouldn't have had a problem with compensating them for their time but nope! Class acts I'm telling you! They also have $20 off an alignment if you check in on Yelp while you're there. Speaking of alignments, they will also do alignments on lowered cars as long as it clears their ramp. Some places will outright turn you away. Their Kingsport location has an in-ground machine so they can take care of all cars no matter how low. "Thank you Tire Barn, you guys are awesome!!!"

He said ok, and then continued to pester my wife until she gave in and spent a LOT of money unnecessarily. To say I am angry is putting mildly. They didn't even rotate or balance the tires, so I will still have to spend more to get what I originally went in for done! All of the tires are now overinflated as well! I used to like Discount Tire a lot. I am never going back there again, and will recommend to others that they avoid it. Now I have unbalanced miss matched and overinflated tires and still need the balance and the rotation I came in for in the first place! I can no longer recommend Discount Tire Co..

However i was offered (by an employee who seemed rather pushy) "interest free" on their credit card and was told it was for 18 months. No physical statements and just discovered that it was 12 months. Statement shows a balance of close to $1400 as they just added well over $600 in interest charges at over 30%. I was making regular payments to cover this purchase. I used to hold them in high regard, everything else is great. I will never return. I really dislike deception. My guess is the employees get a bonus for selling the "interest free" card. I am totally disgusted.

I paid Hayworth to install and balance new 35" tires on a new set of beadlock wheels. One leaked immediately and I had to return. Hayworth blamed it on the lockring spacer that was used and clearly damaged. I asked them how the spacer was damaged and got something crazy about one of the bolts must have failed to line up. The bolts MUST align, that is the nature of beadlocks. Also, from day one it was clear the tires were horribly out of balance, as if they had not been balanced at all and despite being told they were road force balanced. I took the tires to Discount tire to be rebalanced and as usual, Discount Tire nailed it - and did it for free. A couple weeks later I had a SECOND wheel leak while traveling out of state. This time I decided to remove the lockring myself and determine the cause. I was shocked and infuriated. Hayworth had failed to properly install the tire onto the rim, leaving half the bead exposed over top the rim and allowed it to be smashed/pinched by the locking. No wonder I was getting leaks! Concerned Hayworth had done this on my other tires, I proceeded to document my disassembly of the three other tires, including the one they "fixed." At least they were consistent, ALL the tires had been "mounted" the same way, damaging the bead were the tire is supposed to seat against the rim. I had to fix every wheel myself, tucking the bead onto the rim. So in summary, I paid Hayworth to mount and balance a set of tires. Not only did they fail to balance the tires, they damaged a spacer and never took ownership or offered compensation, they damaged ALL 4 brand new tires by failing to seat them onto the wheel and then compressing the bead between the wheel and lockring. Their service resulted in two of the four tires to lose air pressure before I personally had to fix their work. I had to take to tires to another shop to have them properly balanced. It should be further noted, I did go back by and showed the images (I also have videos) to the shop manager. I asked that the owner give me a call when he was back in the office. I never received a call. To me, this demonstrates the owner and management is comfortable knowingly damaging customers property and charging for inadequate services. I will never allow Hayworth to touch another tire or any vehicle after this. If anyone has had their Beadlocks installed by Hayworth, you better pull the rings and inspect them!!
