Got a flat tire on a road trip. Called and made an appointment for repair. Got there and they told us it was going to be a while because they had other vehicles they were working on. We stood outside while we waited and none of the employees were working on cars. They were standing around talking. Third visit, first time no issues . Second time I get there for my appointment and they tell me they need to keep the car for 2-3 hours, for an oil change??? Third time no issues till I leave and I noticed a broken hubcap. I call and they said they "noticed " it before they started working on the car but didn't tell me anything until after I had seen it and brought it up. This place never gives you an accurate time for the service. Multiple times I have scheduled an appointment for a simple tire rotation, explained the time restraints I would be in & was assured that if I was there right when they opened at 7:30am they'd get me out within an hour. Everytime when I show up at 7:30 they have some excuse why it's going to be hours & they are very unapologetic about it. Don't go here if you need any speedy service & definitely don't listen to them when they give you time frames. read more

After our tire pressure light came on, store manager Scott was able to support us. They were very helpful and even inspected all 4 tires right as they should have been closed. They were willing to keep the doors open to make sure we were taken care of. Although, we didn't end up having any major repairs, they provided excellent service and were willing to help make sure we had some peace of mind to drive away safely. I recently had a very disappointing experience at Tire Choice Auto Service Center in Banning, and I feel it's important to share it so others are aware. I made an online appointment to get a new set of tires for my car, having selected the tires I wanted ahead of time due to an urgent need. My tire had blown out the night before, leaving me in a difficult situation. It was Sunday, and this shop was not only the closest but also the only one open nearby, which is why I chose it. Upon arrival, I mentioned my appointment, but the staff member seemed confused, almost denying the possibility of making appointments or selecting tires online. To my dismay, I was informed they didn't have the tires I had selected. Given my situation, I was willing to compromise on just replacing the blown tire so I could safely get my daughter and myself home without having to tow my car over 40 miles. However, they didn't have even 1 tire in my size. Hm.... Okay.. Then the staff member suggested he could have the tires I needed (2x the price per tire) delivered from another location (a location close but not close enough for me to get to on a blown out tire) This was far beyond my budget, especially considering I was not looking to finance a premium set but simply to address my immediate need. Despite explaining my dire situation, including the fact that my daughter and I had to stay in a hotel overnight due to the blown tire, the staff member was unyielding. He did not offer any reasonable solution or express any genuine empathy for our predicament. Not even a solution of having one tire delivered, nope just finance if it's too much. Well rounding it up $470 versus $771 before tax is just a bit of a difference. It was clear the staff member was attempting to upsell me, taking advantage of my urgent need and lack of options due to it being Sunday. This experience added unnecessary stress and frustration to an already difficult situation, leaving us stranded and feeling taken advantage of. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of customer service, empathy, and transparency at this tire company. Instead of aiding a customer in need, they saw an opportunity to profit. I hope this feedback prompts a reassessment of their customer service practices and policies to ensure no one else has to go through such a disheartening experience. read more

1st time using this place since moving to Banning. My husband called a few places before deciding to utilize this place. So 1st he was quoted 39 something for the oil change with tire rotation. We get there it's now $129 because it must have synthetic oil. So we leave vehicle and go have breakfast and went home waiting for phone call to pick up the car. About 330pm workers calls and tells my husband there is a problem. The vehicle is stuck on the hoist and the hoist won't come down and they could not get someone out till Monday am. Mind you we both work and need 2 vehicles. So we inconvenienced a family member so I could get to work. Monday afternoon they call and say car is ready. So my husband being the person he is took off a valve stem cover off 1 of the tires to see if the rotated the tires......guess what they did not! They did give us 1/2 off the price but geezzzzz can't trust these places now days. read more

I was en route back home which was about 2 hours away and found one of my tires had a nail. It was early morning and after calling couple other places, and got referred to this spot boy was I glad. I was in panic mode but the guy that picked up my call had a calming voice and made me feel comfortable and assured that it'll all be okay. This is my second review for the same visit. My last review was based on excellent service at the Yucaipa Store but very bad service at the Beaumont location. I took my wife's car in for an alignment to Yucaipa. The store was clean, I was pleasantly greeted when I walked in. The work was done professionally and within the estimated time frame. I was planning on buying a new battery and installing it myself, but there quote was so competitive J had them do it. When all was said and done, the work was actually less than they had estimated. I had complete confidence in the mechanic, and it appeared all the staff was very well trained and had a good example to follow. I wish the store close to where I live was even half as well run. While I don't feel comfortable yet recommending the organization, I wholeheartedly recommend the Yucaipa location. Because my first review was not great, the manager called me personally to ask if they could have done anything better. Nope-I will be a long time customer with the Yucaipa location! have been using smaller shops for the last couple of decades but it is nice to have a national chain that has locations all over because I do travel a lot. The Yucaipa shop showed me there is still excellence in work and customer service. read more

So my wife and I went in today 3-6-22 to purchase a pair (x2) tires. We were greeted by a man (possibly named Alexander: he has a 49er tattoo on one of his forearms). Later we were informed by him he was an assistant manager. Oh by the way, they have big signs out front right when you walk in saying "mask required" yet he and his staff had no masks on any how... This dude attempts to up-sale us and tells us "companies null and void the manufacturer warranty if you don't purchase an alignment" I'm like, "okay show me that in writing" needless to say he follows up with "well I don't know where it's written but I'm 'pretty' sure of it" I'm like okay, naw we're good. We tell this dude one of the tires we're replacing is still good, don't charge us for a recycling fee we'll be keeping it- I looked and they charged us. Not only did they charge us... when I told them to leave the good tire in the trunk they didn't. On top that when we asked them about it they said oh sorry about that and bring out a tire- (the 49er fan). We get home, which is a couple miles away and what is in the trunk... the same damn tire that we had an issue with. So now we gotta waste gas and drive back (cause it's not gas is expensive right now) and go fix THEIR mistake... which if you ask me seems like they was trying to pull so shady stuff from the jump (refer back to the 49er fan trying to up-sale me on a bogus buy) and this move right here in my opinion justifies that. So we get there and out of the kindness of my heart (after I ask to speak to a supervisor and find out it's the 49er fan) ask the dude if we could talk outside in private so I wouldn't be putting their business on blast in front of other customers. I tell the guy what happened and told him maybe it was possibly a mistake. He says no worries and has one of his crew member's retrieve the good tire. Tell me why the crew member has the audacity to ask us if we wanted the bad tire or the good one! I'm like WTH???!!! So the 49er fan is about to take off and I kindly wave him over and ask him "hey, for the inconvenience is there some kind of discount you could give us" he looks at me with a smirk on his face and says "no I'm sorry, but there's not" We won't be back- ever read more

We live in Phoenix and were traveling back to Phoenix from LA on a Sunday. Just prior to our trip to LA, I got 4 new tires on my Ford F-150 at a tire dealer in Phoenix. As we were passing thru Banning on eastbound I-10, another driver pulled up alongside us and said one of our back tires was wobbling terribly. Though we couldn't feel it, I was able to adjust the sideview mirror and confirm it was bad. I pulled off the highway and into Banning. I thought maybe the people in Phoenix didn't tighten the lug nuts, but when I checked, they were tight. Being a Sunday morning, I was not very hopeful that we'd find a shop open. Not very many options in Banning and the first couple of places we checked were closed. Fortunately, we found Tire Choice and met Kevin Robinson, the assistant store manager. They'd just opened. I told him what happened. He'd never heard of such a thing, but put the truck on a rack, spun the tire and saw it wobble terribly, too. The tire was mounted properly on the rim, the rim was properly tightened onto the hub with the lug nuts. He put his best mechanic on it right away who took the wheel off and checked it on the balancer. Everything looked okay; he added some weights. But when he went to put the tire back onto the truck, he noticed there were weights stuck to the face of the hub. Apparently, the tire dealer in Phoenix got sloppy and accidentally gotten several of the sticky weights onto the face of the hub instead of on the inside of the rim. This caused about a quarter inch gap so the rim wouldn't sit flush against the hub even though the lug nuts were tight. Once the problem was found, it was a simple fix to remove those sticky weights and remount the tire. I asked the manager what the charge would be and he said, "no charge". I slipped the mechanic a hefty tip anyway, but what a wonderful experience that was. We were back on the road in about an hour total and left with a renewed sense of the value of good, quality service. These guys saved our day! I highly recommend them!! read more

Brought my car in for a $118.00 "oil change" and they rotated my tires for $83. Yes I consented. However that's crazy!! Should have gone somewhere else but I wanted to support a local business. They have to things that they do that they "don't charge" you for. And they didn't do either of them on my car because they "ran out of time". If you're independently wealthy then go there, they seem to be nice folks. But if you'd like good service and NOT get raked over the coals there is a place right down the street (I have since learned) that'll do a great job and NOT charge you $83 to rotate your tires!!
