I own a Mazda MX-5 and purchased four Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 tires on Aug 8, 2023, from a Tire Choice Store in Bradenton, FL (see attached invoice). I had 135,618 miles on the vehicle. I have regular oil and tire rotation done at Tire Choice every 5000 to 7000 miles. On Jan. 12, 2026, I experienced a flat tire right near another Tire Choice where I stopped to get a repair. Much to my surprise, after the mechanic put the vehicle on a lift, he noticed several side-wall tire splits, not only in the subject flat tire, but on the inside of all the tires. I have attached some of the photos I took of each tire. As you can clearly see, the faulty tire construction was an accident waiting to happen. I was fortunate it was not on the interstate when this happened as one or more tires could have blown creating a hazardous situation. If you examine the tire tread usage in another attached photo, it shows there was considerable tread life remaining on tires with a 45,000-mileage warranty. The vehicle mileage was 157,102 which equates to only 21,484 miles on the set of tires. Considering the faulty tire construction, side splitting, and tire use at this point, I would expect Tire Choice to honor the Hankook warranty. read more

AVOID!!!!!!! Absolutely HORRIBLE install. I have staggered tires and the front, 45s went on fine but the back... They are 35s and the installer destroyed my rims (obviously blaming anyone other than himself, including me). They put on new tires as a replacements to the OEM tires that came on the car, no one has ever taken a tire off of the wheel, they have never been curbed, never been rebalanced. I am very aware of what my rims looked like prior to these butchers touching my car and they took no ownership. That's to be expected because they don't want to pay for repairs. But my REPEATED contact attempts, via two methods, with corporate have gone unanswered is what really upsets me. Maybe they won't fix my rims but it is now my life goal to talk ANYONE out of going there or any other Tires Choice shop. I can't stress enough to avoid them at all costs. read more

Excellent service. Quick and easy. Everyone was really friendly. I went in to get my Tesla tire fixed. I got a flat the night before and came in first thing in the morning and the whole process was super easy. Usually when I get a Tesla flat fixed, they don't have the tire that I need but they happen to have three of them already in stock so they just needed to put it on and I was in and out pretty quickly. I always anticipate spending like $400 with replacing my Tesla's tires, but it was only like 330 so pretty good deal. read more

Got a flat tire on the highway by SR 70 on a Sunday while the garage was closed but the person doing paperwork at front desk very kindly offered to take a look and helped get me a temporary solution so I was able to safely drive an hour on the highway home. DO NOT USE. I wasted $1500 here just for my AC to not be fixed and they had no idea how to fix it. They were VERY rude and unprofessional, and spoke down to me. So I ended up out the $1500 and still needing my AC fixed. I initially paid around $1300 and my ac worked for about a day, then stopped working again. We took it back in since we paid so much for it to be fixed, so they could correct their previous work that we paid $1300 for. They then proceeded to charge us $200 on top of that. And then my AC still did not work. I took it to a different mechanic and they fixed it right away for good, for only $500....i never leave reviews but do not waste your money. My friend had a very bad experience with them also. Now I am out $1500 because of them. read more

My car told me that the coolant was low. The message came up on the dashboard gauges. After a couple of warnings and a few days passed, I went to "Tire Choice Auto Service". I explained the situation and they recommended that they would have time to check it out if I could come back in 2 hours. Rather than wait there, I agreed to come back. Within 15 minutes the problem was resolved. No leaks just low fluid. They replaced the fluid and told me no charge. This was so much easier than going to the dealership. I am currently in a payment dispute with my CC company and the location. This message is long and for that I apologize. But this story must be told because you cannot make up the experience we had. On 3/15/25 I stopped in the store to purchase two new tires as a surprise for my GF who lives in Bradenton. Chase McDougall was at the counter and let me know he had two tires in stock that will fit the 2009 Yukon Denali XL. I purchased two Cooper Disc AT3 tires and had them installed (invoices are attached). Within two days, my love noticed the tire pressure was low. She called and was told they could not get her in immediately. Finally, on the following Tuesday they looked at the tire and informed her there was a pinhole in the sidewall. This is a heavy-duty tire. The tech insinuated she had caused this and was responsible to pay for a new tire. He then recanted and mentioned she would be responsible for the mount and balance. This was not going to happen and the inside guy Chase got involved called his manager Emily and she said, "to order a new tire and get her of there." I live in Michigan and now got involved. I spoke to Chase and he said we cannot order the same tire, and you will have to take another tire. I said "no" we want two same tires. I called back and talked to Emily who said they found the same tire at another location. We will bring it in the tire and call you. Chase calls my girlfriend and asks her to get the tire size off the truck. He had everything on the computer and XXXXXX was at work. She hung up on him. All the while, XXXXXX is driving around on a brand-new tire with a side wall leak. The store never called back. Finally after the weekend I called back and Emily say's, "oh, the tire is here." Terrible customer service. Worst I've experienced. XXXXX goes back yet again. She has her two-year-old daughter in tow, who is always restless. This is her third time there and over three hours' time spent there. (I won't get into bringing it in for $99 diagnostics that was a debacle.) After 90 minutes we are talking, and she says I cannot believe this is taking so long. She walks outside and see's the tire sitting there on the floor and the technician is working on another vehicle. She pretty much loses it, and they put the install the tire and she leaves. XXXXXXX notices the tire pressure is low again. Second new tire. Cannot make this up. She goes to the gas station after work at night to fill up the tire because it was showing 11 PSI. Late at night, not cool. She proceeds to put air in the valve, and it's not sealed to the rim. Manages to get enough air in the tire to get home. I call Emily the next day and she is very casual about it and says, "we must have installed the nozzle incorrectly and bring it in and we will fix it." Have her call me. XXXXXX says she cannot go back, will never go back there. I agree. She then proceeds to call: Tire Choice 8712 State Road 70 E Bradenton They tell her to bring it in the next day. She goes to the location, and they proceed to tell her they get all kinds of complaints and oftentimes have to clean up the mistakes made from the other location. They fix the tire at no charge, and she is on her way. Unbelievable story but every word is true. I am not asking for free tires, but I am asking to have the charges reduced to reflect time spent and negligence caused by that location. Do not want anyone fired as this may be a great lesson in customer service. This was by far the worst experience I have encountered simply trying purchase two brand new tires. Emily, Chase and technicians are clearly in over their head, not business savvy, with terrible customer service skills. I have attempted to reach out on Linkedin to leaders who work for you but have not received a response. I left two concerns on Monro's web site and have not heard anything back. Unbelievable bad service. This auto business provides well below sub par work and cannot perform even basic maintenance on an automobile. You'll drive away with a car in worse condition than it was before they get their hands on it. It's a shame this establishment gets away with it and expects you to pay the bill. The worst place to have your car serviced. I had them repair a nail in a tire. After driving home I saw they never put the center wheel cap and tire pressure cap back on the car. I drove back within the hour to retrieve the wheel cap. Dumb manager said because I drove away there was nothing he would do. He never made any effort whatsoever to look for the cap, but instead engaged in a verbal argument that continued to escalate. This business is horrible. The customer service is egregiously bad. The incompetency hits you right in the face, leaving you drive away feeling taken and angry. Do yourself a huge favor and take your car somewhere else. My experience was extremely poor. read more

I recently went here to have a tire changed and was happy with the service, so I went again yesterday because I was having an issue with my instrument panel. I was told that I needed a new instrument cluster. I was quoted $670 for the part and $165 for labor. The instrument cluster part number is 20828592. Shops can get it for $170 and it's supposed to retail for around $225. I don't know what kind of idiots they are used to dealing with, but this was beyond a minor markup. OMG! This does NOT happen especially in our current economic environment. I kept getting a low tire pressure warning so I took my car in and the girl behind the counter said it would be about an hour. So I walked over to Takos Cantina, it was Taco Tuesday after all and to get off track....Takos Cantina is a must try!!! When I walked back about an 1/2 hour later (expecting to wait) my car was finished. Apparently I did NOT have a hole in it as expected actually it was just fine. The gentleman behind the counter assured me they took the tire off, checked it for leaks TWICE and the technician decided that it must have been a valve stem leak so he replaced the valve stem, put the tire back on and balanced the pressure in all four of them. When I pulled out my credit card he said "oh there's no charge" WHAT?!?!? Now THAT is putting your customers first, with a genuine, honest and kind heart, it's called integrity which is desperately lacking these days! Bravo!!! read more

Flat tire near by so I brought it in for a new one. Was told I needed a new axle. Made an appointment, on the spot, for the axle two and a half weeks later. The appointment was for 7:30 AM, because of my work schedule. When I arrived they didn't know what the appointment was for and had to look at my last receipt. Ok, no problem. The problem starts when they don't have the part for this scheduled appointment, and tell me it's going to take an extra half hour to get it in. Ok, whatever. An hour and 45 minutes later still no part. Three and a half hours later it's finally done, even though the appointment should have been an hour. Great. I ask the price, and the substitute manager gives it to me. I ask if there was a discount, and this is where it went south. Out of no where, this other guy is asking "A discount for what?!?" I explain to him what I just wrote, and he starts saying that it took longer to fix that it wasn't because the part wasn't there. Now he had just arrived and is trying to tell me what transpired. I asked who he was anyhow, getting into my business, and he says that he is the Manager of the thirteen local stores. Kieth, you're a General manager and you speak to customers that rudely??? If you are a YOUNG WOMAN with car troubles, DO NOT go to this establishment! I won't use names, even though I could, but I was treated so horribly by one of the techs here. I kept bringing my car back for the same reason & each time he said my car was fixed, but each time, it was not fixed. $1,000 later I finally decided to go to another shop & the new shop told me that the problem with my car is the ORIGINAL part that was replaced by Tire Choice when I first brought my car to them. Then, when I tried to get the part warrantied at Tire Choice, they REFUSED me service saying they don't believe that part is the problem. They ran the test incorrectly & when I tried to be kind & polite & just ask them to rerun the test, the tech kept cutting me off, wouldn't let me get a word in, told me that I don't take care of my car & that my car is a "money pit" & I should stop spending money on it. He ended up telling me to go to the other place to get it replaced, after I had already drove my car BACK to Tire Choice, & that if the new replacement fixed the problem, I would get a refund. Well, if you couldn't guess, the replacement fixed my car. So now, it's been 2 months & over $2000 later & I have not been completely compensated for my time & money that has been spent on their mistake, when all they had to do was rerun the test that they did INCORRECTLY. Not to mention that if they had just checked their from there original part work 2 months ago, I wouldn't be over $2000 in the hole & they wouldn't have to pay me EXTRA since the other shop was more expensive. This guy's massive ego costed me my time, money, AND his company's money. I'm a young, female student, who has no family in the area or male counterparts to come into the shop with me. I survive off of my student loans since I can't work while I'm in school & this place had no problem taking my money. They took advantage of me because I was a young woman. The guys at the other shop were asking me if I had a male to go into Tire Choice with me because they couldn't believe they refused to replace the part!!! How messed up is that? I shouldn't have to worry about getting scammed out of my money just because I'm a woman in an auto shop. So again, young women, STAY AWAY!!!
