They were extremely polite as they checked my tires and found a large screw in a front tire. They were able to fix it and 40 minutes later I was on my way having waited in a comfortable waiting area. Staff was so rude and looked like they were all on drugs or something, the dude working on my car was vaping and probably doing other drugs. asked to get a tire fixed and they ended up completing ruining my car. freshly New here in Sarasota my second day 3/20/26 And i went to tire choice to have a nail removed from my Mercedes-Benz truck. The clerk that took my keys, gave my keys to another employee who looked as if he had been partying all night and needed rest moral of the story he ended up blowing my airbag out in my right back tire which ended up causing $1300 dollars in damages and the managers were very disrespectful to me one of the managers Scott shut his car door in my face. When I told him I was going to hire an attorney hey said that they would fix the problem that they caused! so I brought my car the next day to have my airbag replaced that they destroyed, and they had a different tech and he said that, that was his first day at the company, and he srated ti me that he didn feel comfortable with performing the job he was skilled to fix anything on foreign cars, I let the manager know that I wanted to take my car somewhere else to have it done professionally and that they should just pay the bill. They told me it was against their company policy to have another automobile service centee fix anything that they broke so I would have to let them fix the problem. So I dropped my car off at 9 AM and they ended up having my car for 11 hours for a job that only takes about an hour when I came to get my truck they had the hood of my truck up and I asked what were they doing under my hood and the tech stated to me. that he was trying to look for my battery. I had to let him know that the battery was under the passenger seat of a foreign car definitely my Mercedes-Benz truck.. so as he backed my truck out of their garage, it was super low on my tires and scrubbing to the ground and bouncing up and down as He was backing out. Of their garage. I was so upset. I started crying and asking him. What did they do to my car? Thats then when other employee stated that he was on the phone, the corporate manager, andhe was on the speakerphone, and I told that I need a receipt and they told me that they were not gonna give me no service will give me an invoice and he at the the manager on the phone telling him to type exactly what he tells him to type on the invoice not a service receipt like I was supposed to receive, and he typed up a fake service receipt stating that I came in for a loose wheel, which was a lie and that I replaced two airbags to the back of my truck, Which was another lie! and I said that I was gonna call the police if they did not give me a receipt.. they told me I had to the next day when another manager will come in. I never disrespected in all of my life And I gave them the benefit of the doubt,to fix the problem that they had created and they fumbled and my made my truck worse than what it was before their tech blew the airbag out of the back right tire! The corporate manager was very disrespectful to me also treating me very rudely. I ended up having to take my truck to another foreign to fix it and I had to pay out-of-pocket $1500 and they told me another problem happen with the second check that tire choice hat on my car to fix the issue that destroyed it worse he end up breaking my so not only did they destroy my car with the first tech when they were only supposed to take a nail out they ended up getting a tech who destroyed and broke my air suspension so that had to be replaced along with two airbags left, and right to the back of my truck, which cost me $1500 in damages I don't recommend anyone to go to them!! They are very disrespectful and I really felt disrespected as a woman and as a woman of color... If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I had all four tires replaced here about a year ago and everyone was very friendly and professional. I stopped by after calling and asking if they could help me with a flat, and when I arrived, the guy at the desk was a complete jerk. He threw his arms up and asked me who I talked to when I called. after speaking, he told me I needed a new tire, and I asked if he would put on an old tire I had; he said yes. The guy also told me I needed to "call Mom and Dad" about getting a new tire put on. I'm a 27 yo female?? I wouldn't recommend any women or teenagers come here unless they know everything there is to know about tires. I went the following day, and a different guy said it's against their policy to put on a used tire (I was ok with that for safety reasons but annoyed the guy from the day before told me they would do it). A few minutes later, the guy from the day before came out of the work area acting brand new, saying he never told me they would change the tire with the one I had. As expected, they didn't have the tire I needed in stock. To make matters worse, my warranty didn't cover the specific issue with the tire. I drove off the company lot with a flat tire, and no one offered help to put my spare on. Overall, I would never go here again, even if it was the last tire shop on Clark Rd. Plenty of other options within 5 minutes would treat a customer better. read more

I had great service one time and complimented the Manager, Paul on-line. I then ordered a part and never got called. When I stopped in to see what happened the whole crew including the District Manager had quit!!!! I wanted to make an appointment for a quote on shocks and struts. The new person made an appointment for me. When I went back for my appointment he said "Can I help you"? He never recorded it. He then called Auto zone for the parts?? He said "they're out of stock. We can't get them". I went to a competitor and had them installed today!!!! The guy is unkempt, they don't care and as far as I'm concerned they're closed. Also, When I was put on hold a few months ago they advertise if you find a tire cheaper anywhere else they would reimburse you. I had paid $100. more at Tires Choice, got my receipts etc. Paul sent it in and I never received it. Paul said go to Corporate. Corporate said go to the Store Manager. Matt Manglos the store manager got me in the same day to replace 4 tires. The dealership had put the sensors in wrong and made a blow out in one tires. I decided to replace all 4 tires and it was a good thing- all sensors were installed wrong and would of blown other tires. Everyone was so friendly and I have now found my new company to take care of my car in the future. Has fair pricing and all the staff is competent. Of course I shopped around before I made my dissension. My car will never go back to the dealership again!! Already told friends, co-workers and family about my great experience here. On 11/1/2023 at 5pm, which is 5 days ago from today, I came in to get two new tires because the rear tires were not doing well. Especially the passenger rear tire which had a tear from when I side swiped a curb. I thought nothing of it until I had to pump air into it every day. So two older gentlemen were there to service it. After it was all done, one of them I'm guessing who is the manager tells me it's done and proceeds to give me two tires that were formerly attached to my car. I thought "why am I getting these tires? They're crap but okay". He tells me that he couldn't bear to throw them out and just gives them to me and adds "if the back tires are still giving you trouble, come on back and I'll hook those tires up for you no charge. I come home to put said tires in my storage closet and after that I had to go to Marco island for a job and the tire pressure notification was on. How odd, I thought they fixed that so I pulled over and looked anywhere else. All the other tires were fine until I come back to the same passenger rear tire with the same tear I made on it. They essentially didn't touch the rear tires, took the former front tires and gave those to me instead of installing them to the back like I would've expected. So I had to work in Marco Island for 2 days of inflating my tires upon coming to work and coming back from work. You see how annoying that would be? Fast forward to today 11/6/2023 at 7:30 when they open. I bring the two tires, the older gentleman that blew smoke up my butt was there and a younger guy. They see me bring the tires out of my car and ask me what's up. I give them the story and the younger guy said "I think you're in the wrong place". Even the old guy was sticking with that statement. I felt like I was being gas lit and called a liar. Until I whipped out the receipt. That changed their tune real fucking quick. So younger guy proceeds to back peddle and go "look you gotta understand that we don't have dummies here, and we don't just put in used tires on cars, it's a liability". Well it ain't a liability if they originally came from my car now is it? So young guy is trying to ask me question after question to see if I would stumble on my story and catch me in a lie. So as a result it got rectified, and I didn't have to pay for it but the fact that they tried to tell me I was nuts really got up in my nostrils. Older guy was apologetic, but younger guy was very visibly pissed and as soon as I said thank you he replies "yeah good luck" in a not very friendly tone. So with that all said and done, I ain't coming back to that place ever again. read more

Staff is worse than incompetent. When called out, staff complained back to customer about how incompetent the other staff members are. Returned vehicle in dangerous condition not safe to drive off the lot. Issue was caught & brought to their attention & staff just blamed each other while customer stood there needing a solution. Customer ended up walking to an auto parts store for parts to remedy the issue they created using the wrong equipment. Zero refund, & staff offered zero customer service. Tech who serviced it was "gone" & Management was no where to be found. It was a total clown show, I've never seen anything like it. I would not recommend. read more

Flat tire Monday morning with Client breakfast meeting at 9 am. Called Tire Choice to let them know I was on the way after AAA inflated tire so I could drive. They had my ticket ready when I pulled in and within 10 minutes had the tire off where they discovered a drill bit imbedded inside tire! Client picked me up, we had breakfast, when I returned tire was all fixed and ready. I found out it was a bit more difficult than usual but by the time I drove away, it was good to go, and because we had a service contract when we bought our tires, it was FREE! Everyone was professional and helpful with me and the other people who came in while I was there. We've been clients for years... and have never been disappointed, when we needed new tires or with their service. read more

I purchased a new tire from another store and it kept leaking air and going flat on me. I took my car into my dealership on three separate occasions to try and get the issue fixed and this tire would literally lose air by the time I'd get home. I finally went into the Tire Choice off of Clark and Derek and they had my car for a couple hours, worked on my tire and were SUPER thorough! I haven't had an issue since! I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to. With many people not trusting car service places I felt that Matt and his team went above and beyond in helping me get my rotors and brakes repaired. I have a very unique set of brakes on my Cadillac and going thru the dealer would have cost me almost double. Matt was able to locate and get the hard to find parts I needed as well as kept me in constant communication. Most of all, they are tremendously knowledgeable and pointed out things to me so I could understand the entire process. This gave me tremendous confidence in them. I have been holding off on writing a review, but I've reached the end of my patience and have to let you know what to expect from this company. On November 3, 2012, I took my 2008 Mercedes E350 to The Tire Choice for an oil change. The price quoted the night before was $49.99, and the technician assured me they worked on Mercedes products frequently and could reset my "Service Due" light. When I dropped off my car that morning, the price went up to more than $90. I understand the Mercedes requires 8 quarts of oil, so I took the surprise in stride and left the car with them. An hour later, they had the car ready to go. When I got in, the first thing I noticed was oil stains on my seats, door and steering wheel. I asked the mechanic to clean it, which he did, but left oil stains on my carpet and the fabric door trim in the process (those stains are still there). When I got in the car and started it, the "Service Due" message greeted me. I went back in the store again, and the manager said they would pull it in the bay and reset the warning. They drove the car into the bay and spent half an hour trying to reset the indicator. The technician finally gave up and told me the only place that could reset it was the Mercedes dealership and that I would have to take it there. There was no apology, no additional offers, nothing... just advice to take my car elsewhere. I did, and waited two hours at the Mercedes dealership before Googling how to reset the service indicator myself. It took me five minutes and no special tools. That's only the beginning of the story, though. After spending hours and nearly a hundred dollars on an oil change with nothing to show for it but an oil-stained car, I asked for the store manager of The Tire Choice. The person working the desk advised that the store manager doesn't work on Saturday, but that he would have the manager call me on Monday, November 5. I was skeptical, but took him at his word. Of course, the call never came. On Tuesday, November 6, I called the district manager for some sort of resolution. The district manager was very apologetic, and explained that they work on a lot of Mercedes products and there must have been some mistake. The district manager offered me a full refund and a complimentary oil change. A week later, I had nothing. No refund, no coupons, no return calls, nothing. I called the store manager, and he advised that it could take up to three weeks to receive something. So, I waited patiently. In the meantime, I noticed that my car now has an oil leak that it didn't have before I visited The Tire Choice. Three weeks later, in early December, I had received nothing. I called the store manager and the district manager, and they were somewhat less friendly this time. The district manager said I should have something by the end of the week. On Tuesday of the following week, I received a check for the price of my oil change. No mention of the complimentary oil change, just the refund. That's OK, though, because I would never, ever, ever let anyone from this company touch one of my vehicles again. Never. In short: In exchange for paying $90+ for an oil change, I received an oil-stained car, a fresh oil leak, a message that my oil had not actually been changed, and a string of broken promises that dragged on for more than a month. My recommendation: There are lots of other service centers within a mile of this place. USE THEM. If you go to The Tire Choice, you will undoubtedly regret the decision for a long, long time. read more

Their website advertises that they have economy tires for $40.99 in stock. When I get there, the story changes to they've got my size in stock for $75/each. Then when I asked them about the $41 tires, they have to order them because nobody stocks tires for a 14" rim. Now I get the story that he has a tire (in stock, mind you) for $50 plus install, but that tire is a little narrower. 185 vs my 195's. So...If I didn't need tires that bad, I'd go elsewhere. Long story short, you're gonna get the run-around bait-and-switch here. read more

I had a great experience at Tire choice, thanks Matt! I woke up to an unexpected flat tire. Feeling stressed out I made my way to tire choice with an infant in tote and a 2 year old. They helped repair my tire immediately and still covered the repair from a prior purchase! The staff was wonderful. They even had Crayons and a coloring book to occupy my toddler. I've been using Tire Choice almost exclusively to service my vehicles for 5 years. I AM NEVER GOING BACK! They routinely forget to take coupons off of your bill (3 times) They skip services already paid for like lifetime tire balance. They conveniently forget to perform tire balancing at my oil changes when I get tires rotated ( at least 2 that I caught them). Total RIP off. Prices use to be postrd but know they are all gone. No way to check if you are being charged correctly. DO NOT. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!! One positive note, they usually take you on time for appointments. read more

I ordered a tire form tire rack and picked this tire choice as the as the recommended installer the price of the quote came to 16.50. When I went in the general manager he quoted me 39.50. When I gave him the print out of the quote, he just played dumb and said he's system on has one price. So he gave me a discount, but still overcharged me for a 35series side wall($19) when I had a 50series side wall ($12). had to call their corporate and complain (Monro muffler) to be charged the correct price. If the are this dishonest about one tire mount and balance. Just imagine every thing else they do. read more

I haven't used this particular Tire Choice, but used the other one in Bradenton on SR70 near I-75. I guess it's still pretty new so it's not mentioned on this site yet. I had front end done there the price was reasonable and all seems to be working fine, although I started noticing uneven breaking like the discs need polishing. Which is strange since they supposedly replaced the discs and beak pads. I was going to get my transmission fluid flushed there and got a quote for $179 to do that and they told me that a dealer would charge much more... Well I did call 2 dealers and Toyota of Lakewood gave me $175 quote, while Cramer Toyota of Venice $139. So basically the dealers charge less than tire choice for the same service. So I'm still trying to make up my mind about this place but so far haven't had any negative experience with them so will give them 4 stars. read more
