I ended up waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for the new tires to be installed. There were no special circumstances that would require such a long time to do the job! I was told 1 1/2 hours is average. BS! In all my years of owning cars since the mid 1970's, I have I ever had to wait more than 60 minutes for 4 tires to be installed. Made an appointment to get tires on my truck rotated. Scheduled me for 5 days later. The first thing they asked me was what the vehicle was, I told them it was a Chev K3500 dually. They wait till I show up for the appointment to tell me they can't do it, they should have called. Is it: 1) Incompetence, 2) They don't care, or 3) It is my fault for not knowing their service capabilities better than them? Have been using tire kingdoms for the last 10 years (not this location) buying all my tire and every related repair. EVERY TIME you come to this location for a tire repair they give you the same it will be 2, 3 or more days before we can get you in because "only had 2 guys show up" or "we are short on people" really? You are short on people for the last 18 months? if so, seems you have a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM not a labor problem but low and behold should you want to buy a new set of tires the miraculously have an opening. Go right down the road to Tire Plus and they get you in right away, in-out and repaired in 45 minutes. read more

The store was pretty booked and made no time promises to me. Took a walk, had a coffee and received a call the car was ready. For the great service and the value of my time. I needed to replace 4 tires. I was specifically seeking Yokahama brand as that is what came on my Prius initially and they are highly rated. I spent a lot of tiime shopping online and when I could find that brand they were ridiculously priced. I have dealt with Tire Kingdom over the years very favorably. I had found my Yokahamas online at a super center priced on sale at substantial savings. Much to my surprise and delight, Tire Kingdom has an online feature for you to fill out so they can see if they can match their price. I just had to add a link to the super center page featuring the tires, with my email for a response. Within 45 minutes I received an email saying that Yes! they would match that great price. I made a reservation online using the Tire Kingdom website like I had done with a different vehicle within the past month. The attendant working explained that ANY reservation on THEIR website was not actually in THEIR internal system and that it would be almost a week until they could get my vehicle serviced. Luckily I did not waste any money with this location and declined the appointment. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a better more convenient automotive service provider for your automotive needs. read more

Do not go here! Consumerer BEWARE! I had been going here intermittently for years. Tire Kingdom was sold.snd the new manager here is a bully! Went in for a coolant flush and an oil change. They said it would yske 1 1/2 hours. It took 2 1/2 hours. I was ok with that as I wanted the job done right. Got home to find they hadn't filled the coolant to even have enough to go into the reservoir when the car was off. It has to be between the low and full mark!! Took it back. They filled it but when they gave me the keys back the technician acted like I didn't know anything. I told him I had 40 years experience on working on cars. I know what I talking about. Manager AJ told me get out a d was bullying. Never have I been treated with such disrespect and so poorly at a place of business! Please stay away. read more

Came to Sarasota to get food and water and ended up with a flat tire. We tried another tire place that turned us away and ended up at the Sarasota Tire Kingdom. I spoke with Greg Saint Dic who was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. He was able to replace the stem on my tire so we could get back down to Englewood. I took my Volvo into Tire Kingdom at 3:00pm (scheduled) for a tire alignment. There were 4 people sitting in the office. I asked them to call me when it was done and gave them my cell phone # as well as telling them we would get a bite to eat across the alley at Duffy's. So when 6:00pm came and no call, I called them. No answer! I went across the parking lot and they were closed! We had to get a Uber to get back home! When I went back today, they showed me that they had sent a text, whereupon I showed them my phone with many texts, but none from them. I asked why they didn't try to call...crickets. When I asked why they wouldn't walk across the parking lot, they said they couldn't do that for everyone...unbelievable. So, their "solution" was to just leave me! Not very confident in the service I did receive today. Went to have a tire plugged, dropped the car off while I went to work for a few hours. I missed 2 calls, voicemail from mgr said it was leaking by the shoulder and would have to be replaced. When I called back to discuss options, the manager was on lunch break and the representative who initially answered put me on hold to contact him to see what was going on. While I was on hold, another young man picked up, "hello how can I help you?" I explained that I was already on hold. He attempted to look into it for me and said, "it looks like your car's ready to go." I wasn't really on a break at my work, had just made time for the phone call and didn't have time to explain what was actually going on with my car. But I did tell the young man, siren I believe, that he was doing a terrible job and to please put the other man back on the phone. The problem really began when I went to go pick up the vehicle. Nobody was in the lobby/waiting area and after hearing me enter, no one attempted to come out or greet me either. I loudly stated that I just needed my keys, and the manager reluctantly turned around and got up from his desk in the office to come to the counter. He told me he heard I had been "rough" with one of his employees. I was very calm and not disrespectful in any way, and I stated that if a representative was so eager to help, he should not be providing misinformation that could lead to somebody else's injury or death. I live in St Pete, if I had driven home from Sarasota over the skyway with this tire I'd have been stranded. Additionally, there was no paperwork at all provided to me, my wheel lock was stashed with another car's key and Weslie, recognizing that it was not my key, did not even want to give me the wheel lock. While I do appreciate all the help, filling up my tire with air as I can do for free at many gas stations, it probably would have been more helpful to offer to put the spare tire on my car. I won't be returning to this location, they seemed more interested in defending unprofessional behaviors, which also includes not wearing masks. Honestly I'm very confused. The location was spotless, the manager initially seemed very professional, but he was willing to hassle me over an employee doing his job poorly, rather than providing the appropriate indicated mentorship and training. The men who waited on me were courteous, and my wait time was minimal, both for an oil change, and the replacement of a tire. The tire was not a stock item, but they provided me with detailed information, and I ordered it, had it delivered, and I came back by appointment for installation. Had an emergency with a flat tire. I came in and was greeted by a friendly staff member. I told them what happened and they saw me right away. I had a screw in my tire and had it patched and they rotated my tires and turned the light off on the dash for only $35. Some places will charge $50 just to turn a light off. I think this places is a great place to take your car. My girlfriend had low tire pressure and took it here and didn't charge her to fill up. read more

Unfortunately, that seems to have come to an end. We moved about 45 minutes away a while ago and I continued to bring my vehicles here for service. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment today, I was informed that due to them over scheduling and employees going on break, it would be several hours before my standard oil change would be completed. When informed that it is unacceptable due to my scheduled appointment time being tightly fit in to my schedule for the day, their response was to offer to schedule me for a future date instead. I had been a loyal customer of Tire Kingdom , 2615 University Pkwy. for over 3 years, and had entrusted them with routine maintenance and new tires for both of my cars. Last Aug, I decided to buy Chrome Wheels online and Tire Kingdom installed them for me. The existing lug nuts were not interchangeable so Tire Kingdom ordered and installed new ones. A months later I sold the car. 3 months later I received a text from the person who bought the car. When they took that car in for service, they that the Lug Nuts that Tire Kingdom installed were not the right size, and in order to make them fit. Instead of fixing the problem, they installed washers to make them fit. This not only increased the odds for future drive train problems, but is a safety hazard. As a 30 year Veteran of the Fire Service, I have seen multiple accidents and deaths caused by wheel and tire failures. I am LIVID that a professional tire service station would cover-up a problem, and allow their customer to leave their facility with ALTERED LUG NUTS. read more

Do not purchase tires from this place!! Wes, the manager, was upset and rude the moment i walked in and realized he had to process a mileage warranty for a tire purchase. They were made aware ahead of time that this was the case when the tires were ordered and the appointment was set. To try and get out of going through the mileage warranty process, Wes started saying that we didn't rotate the tires enough. TIRE KINGDOM ROTATED THE TIRES EVERY OIL CHANGE!! Tire Kingdom was recommended to us by the driver who brought our vehicles down to Florida from Pennsylvania when we moved here 4 years ago. We have been going to the facility on University since it opened and have to say they are amazing. They are professional, experienced, keep the same managerial staff and respectful of your vehicle. They have done work on my car on a regular basis, keeping it running as smoothly as the day I bought it. They don't gouge prices and special offers are made known when you need something. As Florida does not have state inspection, people down here tend not to take care of their vehicles then when something happens they blame the technician. The same technician works on my car all the time!e, so they know the vehicle. I would high recommend Tire Kingdom, I won't go any where else. read more
