My experience here was very nice. I had to wait sure it was late in the day and there were people in front of me, but I walked over to another department store kill some time there came back. They have a nice waiting room. They provide cold, bottled water and hot coffee for free people were nice. They treated me very well and they gave me a good deal on my tires. read more

Nice people with plenty of information, but they are not very fast -- even with an appointment. I took a flat tire in at 11 a.m. I am writing this at 6:30 p.m. My car is still on the lift. I chose TD because of bad experiences with Big O and Michel. I'm still suffering from the financial problems going to Michel created. One too many people unalived at my local Big O for me. Anyway, unless you have a day to kill, don't go to Tire Discounters. A guy waiting with me was there for six hours because of multiple mistakes TD made. He left with new tires but not the ones he wanted. He was not sure he was going to be able to tow his camper with the new tires since they were not rated for towing. Zero stars really. I used to go here regularly. I am done with Tire discounters. The last two times I called to make an appointment for an oil/filter/rotation I was told I didn't need to call for an appointment. This time I stopped to drop off my car. I was waiting in line and the man behind the counter was giving the lady in front of me the hard sell on tire protection to the point she was looking at me rolling her eyes, she had to say no three times before he relented. Then he tried a shaming routine as he was checking her out hoping she would change her mind. Frankly the man should be ashamed of himself. (Possibly heavy pressure from TD corporate?) When I stepped up to the counter he acted like an indignant jerk because I didn't have an appointment like he was the mai tre d at a Michelin star restaurant. read more

The worst experience I've ever encountered in my 50 years of living. If I could've gotten a live person instead of a voicemail at their corporate office in the 6 times I've tried to call, I would've expressed my complaint privately but instead I have to revert to this public expression of their complete incompetence at this store. Yesterday while getting gas at the Marathon station next door, my tire pressure had went down to 8 psi, so I immediately tried to put enough air in it to get it across the street to this location. Upon arriving I was asked which tire, where I responded, "The front right tire." Passenger side. I stayed there for a moderate amount of time, nothing crazy and they drove my car out to me with the flat tire still on it of course by now it had lost all of the air again, when I said, "That looks like the exact same tire that was on it." He said, "You told us the front right tire" I said, "Yes that's the front right tire." I mean he just repeated to me exactly what I had said but then, He began to argue with me that the front right tire was the drivers side and that his guy said that was the tire that was leaking. I then told him, "No it was not the one leaking, because it's still on the car and it's flat right now." I mean, how can he seriously argue that I am wrong when I was looking at the flat tire on the car?? I told him that I should know I just aired it up. At this point I looked at another customer in the store that had been talking to me and he said, "You did tell them the front right tire and you told them the passenger side to confirm they understand." I'm glad he was able to confirm that because at that point I was starting to get confused myself. I mean....they couldn't tell which tire was flat????.Next after arguing with the guy that my flat tire was really still flat, (I seriously can't believe I even had to argue that) they took it back to replace the correct tire with my spare. When they came back out with the car the other customer in the store starts yelling, "TELL THEM TO STOP HER CAR!!! THERES SOMETHING STUCK ON THE TIRE, SOMETHING IS HANGING FROM THE TIRE!" Yes.....to my surprise they had left the lug wrench attached to the drivers side tire that they had just put back on and by the time they had stopped the car it was sitting on the ground like a kick stand on the ground attached to the tire that wasn't leaking. I walk outside because it could've broken or weakened my lug nut and said, "Did you guys seriously just leave that wrench on my tire and drive it out to me on my $50,000 Cadillac!!!!???" He said, "Ma'am there's nothing wrong with it." I said, "How do you know, it could've weakened or broken something or hit my inner wheel." He again started arguing with me that it was fine. At this point I left thinking that was it, but NO I get into my car to find my middle console shelf at been taken out and left turned over in my passenger seat. I have pictures below, one picture is when they were taking the wrench off the tire after they had drove it back to me and the other is a picture of the inner console shelf in my passenger seat. I didn't think of taking pictures of the console shelf until after I had picked most of the stuff up to put it back into my console. Obviously they had been looking for something, I'm assuming maybe my wheelock but typically people would ask you where it is instead of rummaging through your personal belongings to find it..... I didn't find anything missing but I sure was wondering at this point. Anyway this was an awful experience. I immediately took it to a place I trust, Faulkenburg Automotive in Floyds Knobs so he could look it over for possible damage, they have the vehicle right now putting 4 new tires on it today. read more

I need a tire repaired. They said make an appointment. "great what time do you have available tomorrow"4:30, "great be there after work. " I got to tire discounters at 4:18. As we sit it is 5:12 my car has not moved from the spot I parked it when I checked in. I asked the gentleman at the counter for an update and estimate of when I might be getting the service my appointment time was almost an hour ago. He tells me well these later appointments are just place holders we'll get to it when we can. WTF kind of service is that. I will not be back to give them any of my money. read more

I had a perpetual oil leak on my 2006 Nissan V-Spec SER. Had been running synthetic and had heard that the older Nissan motors would sometimes leak if you converted them to synthetic (Mobil One). I was nursing it along, leaving puddles every time I turned off the engine, and replenishing when the puddles got smaller. Took it to them, told them my suspicion that it was the engine front seal (this is gonna hurt!). Dropped car off. Came back a day later. SURPRISE: they told me it was only that the oil filter was loose. (Dang oil change place next door.) I was really really impressed with their honesty. They could have taken me to the cleaners. Ive spent lots and lots of money here so i was a bit surprised to get the service I did. I dropped my car off a little after they opened 830 am, I get a call 30 mins before close telling me they could not get to my car. That for was an oil change and balance. I told the manager what i thought and he watch me walk out the door without trying to make things right. Ill never step foot back in a tire discounters. I came here to get my tires installed on my baby Mandy a couple of months ago. I made the appointment online and showed up a few minutes beforehand just to make sure that everything was good to go. I told them what I wanted, which was the cheapest tires available for my car because while I love her she's not pretty and doesn't $200/tire tires. They filled out the work order and I left to go to work. Shortly after getting here they called about some issues that was going on with my brakes and gave me a quote of $750 to replace one caliper/rotor/pad. I politely declined that offer and they told me the work was done. I picked it up on my lunch break and paid, it wasn't a bad price for the tires as I spent a little more than $400 and that included an alignment. I dropped it from a 5 star experience to a 4 star because of the pricing on the brake service. I feel like $750 is way way way too high to replace that part as I had both my back brakes done a few months later for just a little more than that at a different shop. Overall I'll come back for things like tires/oil change if it's convenient for me to find one nearby, but for the major work I will probably go elsewhere. read more

While pursuing tires in January 2019 a TD sales staff member told me they had $50 prepaid visa gift card promotion going on currently. I filled out all the paperwork out and mailed the promotion in. After numerous emails, phone calls with no reply's back from TD corporate. The manger at this location told me that the promotion was a mistake and that their was nothing they could do. He did offer to give me a $50 credit on my next service charge but to be honest not sure I would ever do business with them again after being ignored after several attempts. Possibly they just needed to make another sale and did what ever it took to do so. There are tire centers just about on every corner I would suggest try one of them! read more

I made appointment at jeffersonville store sat. Because new albany store told me they are booked up all day Saturday. Tire discounters lied to me. They told me that an former employee or none employee, there tires comes with a free tire rotation and balance and free flat repair for the life of the tire which is what one general manager tells me at new albany store and jeffersonville store general manager wanted to charge me 50$ just to have a rotation and balance done. The road hazard warranty is a joke, they still charge $45 to remount and balance the tire. The "free" emergency roadside assistance is not free. You have to pay for the tow truck and everything up front then it's reviewed for a reimbursement that takes up to 10 weeks. The manager is a complete bonehead, he argued that tire discounters does not have a website and that I could not order the tires that I wanted and have them shipped to the store. I'll run the tread off these tires and warranty I was suckered into but I'll never go back. read more

Overall I was very pleased with their service. They had no problem accommodating my F350 with a full utility box and ladder rack, I was concerned they couldn't accommodate as the truck weighs over 10k lbs with all the tools. Service was quick and they were all very polite. I did ask about a snow tire set for my personal vehicle, although they did not have the proper size available, they were more than willing to order one to my satisfaction. I decided to hold off for now, but I'll return. read more

I took my moped there AAA Tire on South Logan Street and Oak Street the place I have come to find out is a Chop Shop for Portland trash I took a moped there it was really stolen by one of his employees that he had no information on they kept it for 2 months they replaced it with a 150 that does not run and nothing but a frame my bike only needed the muffler put back on in a back tire now it needs a seat bucket headlight taillight it's nothing but a metal frame and I'm engine anybody stupid enough to take their merchandise to this place is going to lose it honestly I would recommend it but they do Shawty work at that you never you never know who's working on your bike whether it's a seven-year-old kid or a actual mechanic or person who's a streetwalker unfortunately a lot of homeless and drug addicts and stay there and the man that runs the shop is constantly High not that I have anything against marijuana but if you're running a shop you can't stay high you don't get nothing done I recommend you take your car to anybody else you get tired of them pushing you around putting you off go to get your stuff and they want to get in your face are in women's faces and start a big argument and then make threats about coming to your house and causing issues they have lost my keys to a new ignition set that I bought for the bike are 4 inches of shameful place I don't even think they deserve the one star read more

I wish I could rate negative stars. I consistently have a terrible experience at this location. Why does it take 2 hours to rotate tires when you have an appointment? Why is there never communication as to why it is taking so long? Why are the attitudes of the employees the least pleasant attitudes I've ever encountered in the customer service world? I hate this place with a passion and only come here because I spent $3k on new wheels and tires and plan to take full advantage of the free tire rotation and balance as long as I can. This company is horrible. Do not trust them. I dropped my car off for an oil change. I called at the end of the day to let them know I was coming to pick it up. Not only had they not done my oil change, or the rotate and balance I requested (since I bought my tires there and it's supposed to be free), they handed me a couple thousand dollar quote for things they said were a "very big safety concern". They never bothered to call to let me know any of this before I showed up. Instead they let my car sit there all day for absolutely no reason. I left feeling extremely frustrated and stressed. Then, when I got in my car, I had to move my seat back forward and it sounded AWFUL. My motor felt like it barely had the power to move the seat anymore, and it was working fine when I took it in as I had adjusted it that morning after my boyfriend drove it. When I called the store to let them know this, they called me a liar. I then called corporate multiple times til I finally got a call from a manager. I missed the call and have been trying to get ahold of him ever since. It's been several weeks of me reaching out, leaving voicemails when his mailbox isn't full, and getting no response. I finally emailed them expressing my anger, and they had the nerve to say they've been "reaching out to no avail". Mind you this guy called me 1 time, as opposed to me having reached out 15 times. They do not care that they caused destruction to my property nor do I have any confidence they will try to right their wrong. Oh, and I took my car a couple weeks later to another business. There was no issue with my oil pan nor anything else (I asked them to check on everything tire discounters had me stressed about). I left there spending $120 for an oil change and a brake fluid flush. Tire discounters will lie to you to get your money. They cannot be trusted. I regret having gone there in the first place. If I could give zero stars I would. Took the Cadillac there to have them check the front brake pads. Their estimate was about $850, Ryan the manager said it needed pads and rotors on front and back....I didn't believe it so I took it to Joseph Cadillac where I normally go. Of course they replaced the front pads and turned the rotors. Back are good for another 10,000 miles. Around $250 out the door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF for work you don't need. What a disappointment this place was. I only went there because they were close. Front desk staff is really nice and generally they do good service. last time I was there for an oil change and tire rotation, they lost the wheel lock socket to my car. Kind of irritated me because they didn't have replacements in the shop so now I am waiting for them to order new ones and call me when they come in. A little miffed I will have to take my car back in just for that. I realize mistakes happen but they are a tire place. i would expect getting your key and wheel lock back to you would be paramount. read more

I just left tire discounters for the 5th time for a 700 dollar break job. I had my break job in November and they still cant get it right !! my breaks are still squealing, but this time I was met by an employee named Roger who instead of trying to be helpful he tried intimidating with high anger issues and when I asked for the manager he said he was so I then asked for reginal manager , he refused so I asked for his last name so I could complain to corporate he refused as well. I have never been treated with so much disrespect from anyplace I have ever been !! Its not my fault they cant seem to get the job done right but I was belittled in front of customers and his co workers. I did find corporates web sight and left a complaint with them , and I hope the general manger will contact me and take action against Roger because his behavior is unacceptable by any standard! After 5 times, I just want a refund so I can go someplace that resects the customer, not abuse them. I will do a follow up after I hear from the general manager. Went and got oil change water system flushed out everything went fine until check out no one could reset my service oil change reset on my Mercedes 350 ML 2011 I wanted to reset needed to be serviced gage now I'm driving around stating I need to have a oil change and to have service asked if they could reset the instrument panel before I had service done they said yes ask before It was done !!! in general the service was great the manager Was very nice Just no one could reset the instrument panel to complete the final job the work was done read more

Took a vehicle in for an oil change and rotation. As I have become to expect it, they called and said you need an inner tire rod and sway bar link. I knew it was making a noise from the driver's side... and was expecting the call. :) I asked which side... they replied drivers. All good there. I then imitated the noise I heard, and they said, yes that is the cause. When I got it back... had not even driven 5 minutes and heard the noise. Just have to find the time to take it back. Side note: I have been asking them to put something in place to catch keys for the night drop off. I did not like hearing my 'electronic embedded' key hit the concrete floor from a 4 feet drop. I went 5 times in a two week period to try and figure why my tires kept losing air and my tpms light came on. I had to go to another location for the same problem. I eventually went to Big O to get a second opinion since they were unable to properly diagnose the problem and wanted to just replace all sensors which is at least $300 (I was told one sensor was corroded but Big O informed me the sensors are plastic). The fix was a little corrosion around the tire rim that needed cleaned: $21. If you guys had done a good job the first time I wouldn't have had to come in so many times and eventually have you try to just get a bunch of money out of me because your mechanic couldn't figure out what was a simple solution. Never going back again. And my tires are 6 months old with all these problems. I'm sure my other 2 tires will need the same fix soon. I'll go to Big O when that happens. read more
