My daughter's car had a screw in a tire in the smack dab middle. Took it to TD in Paris. They lied to me saying it was too close to edge to plug so "I had to have a new tire" for $141...I wasn't given a choice...they just put a new one on. I asked for the tire to keep...got home and we inspected and found they had lied about the location of the hole. It could easily have been plugged. So I went back in and jumped their case, after calling several times and nobody returning my call. Then they came up with a NEW story --- Said they couldn't plug tires 5 yrs old...showed me on the tire it was 5 yrs old. I asked to see the "laws or rules" that stated that excuse. Manager got on computer and printed out several sheets of information BUT it was only Tire Discounter's POLICIES and GUIDELINES that stated not to repair older tires and it was SIX YEARS, not FIVE. Manager stated he had worked for TD 12 years and had always been told it was 5 years. He had to eat his words. He took his new tire off the car, repaired the hole and installed it back onto the car...and apologized all over himself... They lied to a "FEMALE" just to sell a F'n tire. This an update to my previous review. Well I a mm still leaking oil slowly, do I'm at Don Franklin in Lexingtion. They noticed the oil filter had been changed which I was not told about. BUT THEY FORGOT TO TIGHTEN THE DRSIN UG PROPERLY!! That's why I still had a SD low leak! I will not be back to them! I ready hope Bill reads this review. They need to get their"stuff" together!!! Could not be more pleased with the service and care I received last minute on Saturday 10/8/22. I had a blow out on the freeway (see photo) and I needed to get a new tire, but I also needed to make sure my tire pressure sensors were taken care of. I have a Lexus LS460L and I didn't want to go all the way to Lexus of Lexington for a simple tire replacement. I was worried about the sensors though. I phoned and was told they could take care of the sensors at Tire Discounters. I drove over and I was greeted by Robert who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He took exceptional care to ensure my car was taken care of properly. He found the right solution for my needs and did not try to upsell me with services or products I didn't need. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes ON A SATURDAY, which I found amazing. The price was incredibly reasonable as well, despite being a high end replacement. If you want to waste your time and spend more money then you need to go to tire discounters their excellent for that! This is the second time I've been told by this Tire Discounter that a tire cannot be removed without them not assuming responsibility for possibly breaking a post. This was the same line they fed me about 6 months ago when I went to buy 4 tires. I believed them and only bought 2 tires. I went back to the Mechanic who took off the allegedly problematic tire directly in front of me with no problem. Tire Discounters also told me my oil filter was too tight for them to remove it. So I had to go back to that mechanic to remove it. Again, removed with no issues. Im trying to shop locally, so I went back today to get two new tires only to be told same line about tire after waiting 45 minutes. Told them to put the tires back on and went next door. read more

Had a flat tire I bought the extended warranty package and installation package supposed to cover fixing a flat first flat out of had in years left and screw in the tire, dro tutar Discounters told them the guy behind the counter was not the one I bought the tires from he said well be about an hour why don't you just go to Walmart it's next door I told him I spent $200 per tire and it included fixing the tires so I waited 2 hours they came in said it was ready I said well where's the screw that I left in it how big was the hole did it go all the way through so they got real snotty about that the girl went out and found the screw came back and said we don't patch tires and less they need it so I said well I sure would have liked to have looked at it first, this customer service was a lot different than the day I spent almost $1, 000 so I guess if you're not buying new tires they don't want you in there and that ball headed guy telling me to go the Walmart rub me the wrong way and the girls attitude was not very friendly I do like Ed the guy that sold me the tires but he was not there. I have been using the Paris location of Tire Discounters since they opened. They are always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I service both of my cars there regularly and both cars have had a full set of tires installed. Last week I needed a set of tires for my mini van. They guided me through my options and helped me find a great deal on a set of Pirelli tires. I only have positive comments for this place. read more

Tire Discounters are good to work with, always friendly and courteous and do a good job. I like that they rotate your tires free if you buy them there. Good place to deal with and handy location. They usually get you in and out quickly so there's normally not a long wait. I recommend them to keep your car serviced with no hassle. read more

I have been using Tire Discounters since shortly after they opened. We have them service a truck, a car, and a sports car. Always great attitude and service. Some of the people I know better than others but they are all very nice whenever my wife or I are there. Will shortly have to buy my third set of tires from them. They walk me through the process, show me what my options are, and let me make the decisions. What more can you ask? While they are not always able to give me the exact appointment I want they work to make it as close as possible. Mostly my fault for calling too late. If this type of service continues as I think it will, I will be a constant customer. read more

I went and priced tires at TD in Paris and they were way more expensive than Riley's, WalMart and other tire places in Paris. They tried to tell me I needed brakes that were done 2 months ago. A big rip off!!!! They are a JOKE!!!! read more
