DO NOT get your oil changed here! My car has been sidelined ever since I let them work on it. I went there for tires and decided to get an oil change. Big mistake! The car ran somewhat smoothly for about 15-20 minutes but over time it steadily became worse. I assumed it was the front tires, which are really bald. The back tires were the only ones I could replace at the time. After a few days it progressed to the point that it always sounds like it wants to cut off. It's been parked for weeks now. I should have taken my car to the place I usually take her. Side note: I've never had any problems with the owner. He and his wife were always friendly and professional. The person I dealt with seemed okay but I don't know. I cant remember his name but I think he was the manager. Kind of short. Basically nice people and their pricing is very competitive, However buyer beware since they do not cover damage to your wheels from their equipment that removes the tire from the wheel. The woman that handled my transaction said that if I was concerned about damage to my wheels I should not have bought the tires from them. One of the men that worked on the equipment commented that the equipment has been a problem and that the damage was caused by their equipment. They should repair or upgrade their equipment ASAP. read more

I've been going here for years. It's close to me and I always get quick service. In the dozen or so times I've been here getting asked what they can do for me is immediate. Occasionally you have to wait a bit in a car line if they are busy but that has been rare for me. Once inside the garage bays, the guys actually doing the work have always been courteous and seem to know what they are doing. Their prices include everything and they are fair. $25 to fix a flat seems high but they do remove the tire and patch it properly. They will not plug a tire. I'll be back. read more

Tucked away on a gravel road in what looks like an antideluvian military facility from a Mad Max nightmare, Tire Farm does basic front-end maintenance such as alignments, and sells/installs new and used tires competently and quickly (usually in less than an hour) at a very competitive price. In the past I have had a used tire or two mounted on older cars in as little as ten minutes for a flat $40. For newer vehicles, quality top-end rubber is a few dollars more than TireRack but of course how much is avoiding the hassle and added expense of having the tires shipped and mounted at a local garage worth to you. Honestly, I have never had a bad experience here but I can understand why the post-apocalyptic setting may be off-putting to some people. You can buy an awful lot of cappuccinos for the money you'll save. Highly recommended. read more

Rear right leaky tire caused to get a new tire. However, new tire was installed on front right and the leaky tire was put back on rear right. When picked up the car, the psi on rear right showed 19 psi. Immediately drove back to have tire farm pumped the rear right tire thinking a "new" tire should not leak! Well, the next day the rear right tire "FLAT". Dropped off to tire farm and found out the front right tire is NEW and the existing front right tire was supposed to be moved to rear right (- the right thought it's better because the car is a front wheel drive). Turned out the leaky tire was put back to rear right and got picked up and 19 psi. It is a very bad messy mistake that the shop made. So if you want new tire, DON'T USE TIRE FARM IN FARMINGDALE NJ. Better go to Costco or BJ or somewhere they sell you quality tires. Their technicians who fix tires are only borderline good, not thorough enough. When pick up the car, all 4 tires are NOT on same psi: 37, 19, 35, 34. It is a very simple job and yet the workers don't do things right the first time. Pity!! read more

Not worth the deal! We had two tires replaced and rotated. As soon as the car was driven above 50 mph the entire car was shaking, the steering wheel was vibrating like a massage chair. My husband called to bring it back in and I went the next day. A man tried to say maybe I bent the tire, another man said all we do is tires we usually do it right! Well, not this time- The same guy that did it wrong in the first place came out to take the keys with hands covered in black tire muck, which I later found smeared all over my tan interior. He came in whispering something to another employee asking what to do. Pretty sure he didn't know what he was doing. Long story short the tires are still not balanced and I have to go somewhere to get my car cleaned and tires fixed. Save yourself the trouble and choose another place. read more

Always great service here. I've been coming here for years it's the only destination I bring my car to for tire problems. Very quick- in and out because they have a decent amount of workers. - Just left and thought,, "Wow. He fixed everything in record time!". As I drive away and looked at the reading of my tires I was annoyed that he didn't put air in the tire that had the leak. Wouldn't that be a smart thing to do for every customer? I came here on the recommendation of my mechanic. As they pulled my car in I read their Yelp reviews. Yikes!!! I don't like anyone touching my car so after looking at the reviews I went out and watched the guy work on my car. The guy was very efficient. He did a nice job. Balanced the tires perfectly and even got my hub caps on (which is no easy task on my car). Tires are like root canals. You know its gotta get done and you just want to get through it as painlessly as possible. I got a decent price in my tires and I'm satisfied with the installation though I can't say if they stripped my lug nuts. No way am I pulling those Damn hub caps off to check!!! This place is Central Jersey's best kept secret. At least give them a call. They quote prices over the phone, unlike most places. 4/1/21 Bought 4 tires at Tire Farm in Farmingdale for $713.99. When the young man pulled my car of of the garage I noticed one of my tires was reading 1psi. I got out calling him back and he told me I just needed to drive about 5 miles to reset the reading. 4/2/21 I went back and spoke with Nina, the owner, who said she was running to a doctors appointment and would call me later. She also tried telling me they don't go near the TMPS when they change tires. This is a lie as the TPMS is mounted in the valve stem. She called several hours later and said I needed to bring the car back so her mechanic could check the problem. As I was going away for a few day I returned to the shop on 4/8/21. 4/8/21 The mechanic Raj, her son, came out and asked, " Did you try to reset the sensor?" I said," There is no way to reset them" He tried and then he goggled and found out you need a machine to re train each tire. He said," You need to go to your dealer and have them reset" I asked if they have TMPS valves on site. Even though their web site states they do TPMS valves he said ,"No because you need different ones for each model" 4/9/21 I took the car to Auto Lenders in Lakewood where I bought the car , a 2018 Ford Edge. They checked the car and said the back left TPMS had been broken. Cost to replace valve and re train each tire $195. I took the bill to Nina at the tire Farm and she said," You should have called me we have valves here" I explained the mechanic, her son Raj told me yesterday they didn't have TPMS. With that Raj walked in and came over. His mother said to him, we have them and pulled a box from under the counter. Raj replied," That's not it, we don't have them, but if the sensor was broken the tire wouldn't hold air" I said that was not accurate as the TPMS can be broken without breaking the valve. Then they both told me they are not responsible for TPMS damage. I told them I was filing a claim in small claims court, which I have done. read more

This place does not stand behind their work. I spent $800 on 4 new tires and shortly after leaving there one of my tire pressure sensors failed. I phoned the owner and she said to bring my car back. Once I got there, they changed their tune, saying they didn't do anything and the sensor looked fine. One of the technicians who looked no older than 15 actually told me to change the battery in the sensor! If they think I'm going away quietly, they should guess again. Stay away! I got 4 tires from them less then 10 months ago and there's a bubble in the side wall of one of the tires. So I stop by and see what they could do figure it would be a warranty replacement. So I go in show the lady the receipt and immediately she says it a low profile tire you hit a pot hole and damaged the tire. Never ever looked at it or anything. So she already made up her mind they were not going to do anything. Then the old man goes out and said theres an impact on the tire I look and there's dirt on the rim that me finger took off that's definitely not a impact mark. I purchased a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT for my 2012 F350, very pleased with the tire and would highly recommend the tires. At first the service started out good. I noticed when I got to the end of the driveway the tire pressure light was on I turned around and spoke to the mechanic and he said keep driving it it'll go off it just needs to calibrate. I knew I did not have any lights on when I got there. Shortly after I had a warning that said tire sensor fault. I brought the truck back and they told me they will not cover that, didn't even offer to help out. It was fine when I brought it there and no good when I got in it. Long story short I do not recommend using this company even though the price was good. But remember a good price is long forgotten after Poor service. read more

I took a closer look at the tire and the manufacturer date was in 2011. 9 year old tire. I spoke to who i think is the owner about it. I used tire farm for years (over 20) until I bought a pair of Bridgestone H/T Dueler tires for my Equinox. After about 6 months I was getting my oil changed at the dealer and they wanted to replace the tires. I was surprised since my wife drives the car. I told the tech no and returned to Tire Farm with receipt. The old man (not the owner) looked at them and said my tires were not aligned and b/c of that they wore faster. These tires were completely bald, tread life was suppose to be 55k, minimally out of alignment, and I have bought them here before with no problems. Anyway, after much arguing they were only going to give me $40 - $45 off per tire when I originally paid $175 & change per with tax. They told me they were losing money, when I was the one who got scammed for $350 and now 6 mths later they want me to buy tires from them again. Bait and switch I was in on August 19 and took the day off from work to have tires done on my Subaru Outback. On Aug 17 in the late afternoon The owner quoted me a continental contact pro Eco tire installed for 160 plus tax. He also asked my name so he can hold the tires When I arrived today August 19 they said they didn't have the tire they quoted and sold me a continental true contact which is about $18 per tire less so he beat me for $72 but lost a customer for life Not a good way to do business. This is THE place to go if you need anything done with replacing tires, balancing, alignment, etc. Any time we have ever gone, they were friendly, professional, and never once tried to push any work that wasn't needed. For our last visit, we dropped our car off on a Saturday morning at about 9:15ish am (they open at 8:30 on Saturdays). Our car was done within a HOUR! Tire Farm has lost my business for good! They used to take pride in their customer service, and their work, but not anymore. All of I have to say to anyone who buys tires them is: 1) Take your valve stem covers off before they do any tire work. I had my nice shiny metal valve stem covers ripped off, and they were replaced with four mismatched plastic ones. 2) After getting your tire work done, immediately check your tire pressure. Each of my tires were over-inflated at least 10 to 15 pounds above the correct tire pressure. 3) Take your car down to I-195, and get your car up to 60-65 mph. If your car starts shaking, immediately go back to Tire Farm because your tires are not balanced. I had to go back 4 times before they got the job done right. Ridiculous. read more
