I walked in for an oil change and tire rotation without an appointment the Saturday before July 4th so I expected to wait a bit. This is a new location and the space is clean and nice. Definitely an upgrade from the SR-84 location which is now closed. The service guys were friendly and honest about the wait time. I left my car and walked over to get coffee. When I returned they recommended additional service so I agreed. The wait wasn't that bad and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. I usually hate taking my car in for service because I feel most places try to scam you. I left there happy and confident about the work that was done to my car. read more

These guys are lazy and liars. My boyfriend and I came in to get our oil changed, per the 19.99 special. Granted, each of us took 2 extra quarts of oil than the special called for -- so we expected to pay a little more for it. Our totals were DOUBLE that; in excess of 40.00 despite the "19.99" special. When I asked about it, they tried to explain to me it was the special when I see the base charge listed as 48.99, along with several other charges (labor, disposal, extra quarts), and just a 10.00 discount applied (with tax it was 43.90) out the door. I called them and asked them how much it would cost for an oil change and they said "30.00", without even asking what kind of vehicle I had. I asked them if it mattered and they said it did not. I then, found the coupon online; and NONE of the prices; from what I was quoted; to what was advertised; to what I was charged -- none were the same. When we arrived at the store, and the guy asked if he could help me, I said "yes I'd like an oil change". This was less than 5 minutes after I called for the quote. The store is right by my house. He goes "Do you have 2.5 hours to wait?" I said "yep" and he said "okay then"; rolled his eyes and took my information. There were 6 employees; 2 service writers inside (the one with who I dealt with was rude); one service manager inside; and 3 technicians standing around in the garage not dong any work; while there were only 2 cars lifted in the bays. I didn't see how it would take 2.5 hours for an oil change, but perhaps it was because the techs do so much time just standing around rather than working. Furthermore, a free tire rotation is included with the oil change service. My boyfriend and I both brought our cars in simultaneously. He specifically asked that they rotate the tires, and he was reassured "oh yeah it comes with it". I just put new tires on my car, so I wasn't concerned, but he had a problem tire on the front passenger side. His receipt says 1 TIRE ROTATION. The problem tire is still on the front passenger side, so they did NOT rotate it. DO NOT GO HERE. They're untrustworthy and lazy. I wonder if they even actually changed my oil; I'll be taking my car to a friend to give his opinion as to whether my oil is full and looks 'clean'. read more

They're very rude and refuse to help you! I called because I had a flat tire and wanted to buy 2 new tires while I was in the area. An employee by the name of Juan answered and I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and he wanted to put me on hold again. I explained to Juan that I just needed to know if they had 2 continental tires and he said he couldn't help me and had to put me on hold again. I explained to him that I had been on hold for over 10 mins and I was on the side of the road with a flat and I didn't have a lot of time. I went in to get my tire checked out which is a tire that I bought from Tire Kingdom and one who was working this morning kept me on hold for 25 minutes and then when I came back this evening he told me that they had no way of patching my tire however it's a tire company so I'm wondering why Juan is an associate with your establishment if he can't do the job that he was hired to do and also why he has to be such an asshole to customers? I will NEVER EVER bring my car to the Davie or the Dania Beach Tire Kingdom AGAIN. Ripeoffs with their kindly customer service is very manipulating. My never had a days trouble with my car until I brought it here both locations. Ever since then my cars has been giving trouble I've spent about $3000 with this place possible breaking things in my car for me to come back. While waiting for service I heard them tell me and three other customers after me that their struts were out coincidence or lying to cheat ppl that are already struggling during these times. I will be writing the Better Business Bureau. Where there are loads of complaints as well. Tire Kingdom employees all really pathetic for being ripoffs and it's really sad. I made an appointment for 415. I called at 4pm and asked if it would be a problem to come at 430. I was told no one was there and that I could get an oil change and two brand new tires in less than an hour. I arrived at 430 and wasn't even addressed until 5pm. Two people got taken care of (one came in after me) first. Then the man took 30 minutes to enter my info in the computer. What was the point of me scheduling the appt on the phone in advance for? I gave all my info so that I could avoid wasting time! Then the guy proceeded to lecture me about replacing the rear tires with the new tires! No big deal! I specifically made sure that he was aware that the rear tires were chopped and needed to be replaced. The front tires were under warranty with road hazard and balance package. So what happened? This place didn't even start on my car until 545pm and then somehow Phillip managed to have them remove my 'good' tires and kept the bad tires that were chopped! He had them moved to the front too!!!! I almost crashed a few times driving immediately after leaving the place because the car wouldn't turn nor could drive much over 40mph... Do not go here!!! Just went to tire Kingdom to get an oil change. After 30 minutes they ask me if I had a special way to get the oil cap off. I told them no and that I always got my oil change from them for the last twenty years including there old location. After another 10 minutes they told me I had to come back the next day since they could not get the cap off and the mechanic who knows how to get it off is not working today. Exactly why would a mechanic work when the store is open. Like a hospital where the doctor is not working. Really. read more

Literally awful. Do not go here. Hector "helped" me today with an oil change. I had a coupon for a $50 synthetic oil change with a tire rotation, fluid wiper top off, and inspection. 2 hours later I get a call saying they cannot complete the oil change if I do not buy an aluminum filter cap. I asked why they couldn't use the one I had which was from the dealer and they said they couldn't use it because it was plastic and their aluminum caps were so much better. I've had this car for 200,000 miles now and I've never been told that my cap was not usable when I've gotten an oil change. I was forced to pay an extra $85 for a cap. Ridiculous. When my car was ready he gave me a call and I arrived within 10 minutes. When I get there another associate was handling me so I asked for Hector and without surprise he had stepped out for lunch right when I got there. The associate helping me even said "I don't know why he would do that when he said he would show you the filter cap." The lack of professionalism from this place is enough to never go back. When I finally paid I went outside to check if my tires were rotated and to no surprise they weren't. When my boyfriend went inside to ask if they were rotated, they said they were. He then asked the associate to check it, and when he did he then changed his answer to they weren't done. When we asked why they weren't done the associate said my tires weren't up to DOT standards so they weren't able to do it (laughable as I went down the street to another tire shop to do it and they did it right away). They also told me all my brake pads were metal to metal so I needed new ones which I declined, but how would they know that without ever taking my tires off to rotate them . Complete BS is all I got from them today. I didn't even bother asking about the wiper fluid as I knew it wasn't done. All-in-all, my experience was horrible and I will never be visiting a tire kingdom again. read more

I was at Tire Kingdom on nova drive today for a oil change special with Valvoline oil. Appointment was at 3:00 pm took my car in at 4:45 pm. No problem, got my car and I noticed that they didn't rotate the tires that was stated on the coupon. So I called and they told me I told them not to do it. It was also on my appointment work order. I never told them any such thing. Also why was it listed on the work order to the mechanic if I told them not to rotate the tires. I waited patiently for 1 hour and 45 minutes when I had an appointment. They could of at least done what I paid for. read more

What a JOKE of a business! 5 years ago I was ripped off and charged $200 more than tires plus for a part. After arguing with the manager I lost and decided never to go back again. Yesterday I needed two tires and I figured it's been so long and it's right behind my house, so let me give them another try. I called at around 12:30 and told the person on the phone that I would be there at 5, and asked if this was too late. He said "no, we will be done well before six". When I arrived I AGAIN told the man I needed to car back by 630 or 7. He said it would only take an hour. I had a full ten minute conversation with him about how I was going to walk home and walk back when it's done. I explained that I needed the car for an event for my daughter and he kept saying "yeah yeah it'll be done by then". I walked home in the rain, showered, waited, ate, waited, and nothing. I typed into google "tire kingdom davie" and the hours on the main page say they're open until 8, so I figure maybe they're behind - I'll call at 7 since that's when I told him I needed the car by. 7pm comes, no ones answering... I walked back there in the rain thinking maybe they just don't answer or something, because it was very important I had a car to get my daughter to her school event. THEY WERE CLOSED?! What the f&@#?! Where was my phone call? Where was my car? Where was everyone and where are your brain cells when I'm explaining to you the I NEED MY CAR BY SEVEN FOR A VERY IMPORTANT EVENT?! I had given them my vehicle maintenance card so they took it upon themselves to call the maintenance card phone number and obtain their approval without consulting me, the driver in charge of the vehicle who brought it in to them in order to repair a FLAT TIRE! This was my first and last visit to this place. VERY DISHONEST. I stopped by yesterday to make an appointment for an oil change. I requested an appointment time for 7:30 AM but the guy said I will put you in at 8 AM but you can come at 7:30 AM. I get there at 7:45 AM thinking I was early only to be told that my appointment was at 7:30 AM. I asked for the synthetic oil change and when he printed out the receipt it showed a total of $76.36. I was charged $60.99 for synthetic oil change, $9.00 for this $5.99 for this and the charges just keep adding up. I explained to him that I always get synthetic oil changes and the most that I have paid was $60 which is the going rate for a synthetic oil change. I was not prepared to pay that much so I told him, just give me a regular oil change. He then proceeds to tell me that I could not get a regular oil change because my car takes a special type of oil. What a bunch of bull crap. Special type of oil??? I drive a Toyota Camry not a Mercedes Benz. I was not even in the mood to go out to my car and pull out all my receipts of the regular oil changes that I have received with regular oil. This is a VERY DISHONEST place. Stay away!!! read more

I had a slow leak in one of my tires, and as I was getting ready to head to the keys one Saturday morning (which happened to be my birthday), my tire would not hold air. I went to the closest place I could find, walked in, and Curt came out immediately, checked the car, took the information he needed, gave me a price of $31 for a patch, and had the car done and back to me in less than 30 minutes. He promised me that he would get it done as quick as possible and he did. The entire staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. I also found that they do oil changes and a variety of other services. I will definitely be back next time I need anything. read more

Took my Kia Forte for alignment twice in the last 4 months, to 2 different locations and nobody can manage to align it for me, but yet I spent 100 dollars. Took my BMW there to align, as soon as I drive out the car is still pulling to the right. I come back and they tell me that maybe by rotating the tires it will work. They rotated them, now car is pulling to the left. Last week I took my Kia to an oil change and they told me i needed to clean something related to air coming in an out of my engine because that should be killing my fuel efficiency. I averaged 26.5 mpg before that. Now I average 26.1. Was it really worth upselling me for 25 dollars in exchange for me to never go back to Tire Kingdom again? I took my car to this particular Tire Kingdom to get new tires put on at the beginning of this summer. The staff all seemed very courteous and although I had to wait a very long time (almost two hours) because they didn't have all of the tires I needed on site, I was generally pleased. That was until the man working behind the counter told me that after trying to do an alignment they found my "stabilizer" bars in the front end were totally shot and needed to be replaced for around $500. My car is very old and this didn't seem like a stretch but since I was going to be gone most of the summer I thanked him, paid for the tires, and decided I would get it looked at when I returned from traveling. When I got back I took my car to two different mechanics one of which was a front end specialist. The second one did an alignment for me as well. Both told me nothing was wrong at all and my car was totally fine. I definitely don't trust this place anymore and won't be taking my car there ever again. read more

I got an oil change on 11/02.2014 just before 5pm. I left to go out of town the next day when my check engine light illuminated. I returned to the area on 11/05/2014 and went straight to Tire Kingdom to inform them of the issue. A mechanic came out to my car, told me it had nothing to do with my oil change, and that I could pay $100 for a diagnostic test to see why it came on. As he was at my car, I googled "check engine light on after oil change" and showed him some of the results, to which he dismissed and stated that it had nothing to do with the oil change. I then went inside and spoke to the person behind the counter that first questioned why I had waited 3 days to come in (after I had initially told him I went out of town to Orlando and it came on). He then told me that it wouldn't be a problem to run a diagnostic test for $40 to find out the issue, but that there was no way it was caused by the oil change, since both deal with different aspects of a car. I informed him that this wasn't the first time that I'd had issues with service at their location and he inquired when the 1st instance occurred. I told him that I had to contact corporate office to get it resolved. He then reiterated that they would take a look at it for $40 and I let him know that I would prefer to take it elsewhere to determine the issue since I've had multiple issues at their center. Once I returned home to research online, I found many forums stating that the check engine light could come on from using the wrong viscosity of oil. When examining my receipt, it shows that "Bulk 5W30 Permium Conven Oil" was placed in my car. I consulted my Owner's Manual, which states that 5W-20 oil should be used in my car, which I'm sure was the oil that was previously in my car without incident. I did not follow up with Tire Kingdom afterwards as my check engine light went off on 11/08/2014. read more

I was saddened by my experience at the Tire Kingdom at 6595 NOVA DR,DAVIE, FL 33317-7423. Before going in to Tire Kingdom, I marked each of my tires with numbers. I went into Tire Kingdom for an oil change and a tire rotation. I left the store and only later verified that the tires were rotated by checking the markings I made on the tires. The tires had not been rotated. I decided to check the oil. There was no oil added into the engine. I verified the oil level three times. The first two times I check there was no oil on the dipstick. The third time I checked there was I tiny amount showing on the dipstick (way below the 'low' level). I was scared to drive the car fearing the engine would seize up and I had no oil at my house. I filed a notified the Tire Kingdom district office but they never responded. I decided to drive the car back to the store and spoke with the manager. He first said the oil change and tire rotation were completed. I told him I marked the tires and asked him to check the oil. After checking the oil and seeing the markings he didn't argue with me. He had one of his technicians fill the oil. I didn't get the tire rotation completed because I wanted to leave. I asked the manager to ask his technicians not to do such things in the future. I wrote a negative review on the company website, but they deleted my post. I was disappointed by this experience. If you use this store, please mark your tires and verify their work otherwise you could damage your engine and be placed in a dangerous situation. read more

I went here a year ago and had four brand new tires put on. I also purchased the additional insurance, only because they sold me on it with the following details of the warranty. They told me that the warranty covers tire replacement NO matter what happens, for the next two calendar years, for a fee of $30. I asked them a million times very clearly if it covers everything no matter what, and they very clearly told me yes it does cover, NO MATTER WHAT FOR 2 YEARS TIME. For the fee of course of $30. I purchased the 2 year hazard coverage and warranty because it seemed like a good deal. I then traveled to Ohio for some time to visit family. Not but one month later, from the date I purchased and had the 4 new tires installed; while I was still in Ohio.. 2 of the 4 tires went bad in a bad way and were losing air so quickly, that even after putting air back in, I couldn't even drive on them for 10 blocks to the mechanic I use in Ohio and I had to pay for a tow. I replaced them out of my own pocket.. and I did keep the receipts from the replacements I did in Ohio, as proof for when I returned back to Florida, that their products were in fact faulty. I got back to Florida about a month ago, which was 11 months from the date that I had purchased everything from tire kingdom..and another tire was rapidly losing air. Of course it was the tire kingdom tire. Big shock there.Hah! It was once again such a bad leak that even after I hooked it up to my air compressor and refilled it up, it was losing air so quickly that I couldn't drive on it at all. The air was leaking from 35 pounds of pressure to zero pounds of pressure in less than 5 minutes, sitting in my drive way. Once again I got to pay to have it towed to tire kingdom! They told me, my warranty does not cover tire replacement, even though that was what I was told when I purchased the warranty! They told me it does not cover it? Yet my warranty says differently, as did the sales man who sold me the warranty 11 months ago! They do NOT stand by their product or their warranty. I showed them a copy of my warranty that states it does cover tire replacement for 2 years time. They still told me and insisted that it does not! They told me there is nothing they can do other than to sell me a new tire for $10 less than full price and ONLY if I drop my warranty completely. The warranty doesn't cover anything apparently although it states differently. So I lose either way. They told me they can't do anything more than that, and that it is my problem not theirs. They also told me they couldn't help even if they wanted to, because their computer wouldn't allow them to do that. Such bullsh*t! Do NOT trust these people. They rip you off on warranty and their tires do not live up to any standard. Faulty products. Warranty are over priced and they do NOT stand by those either. I am actually contacting a lawyer about it, and having the lawyer read over the warranty, and hopefully help me out. Do NOT go here, if you value your car and your safety, or a warranty. Warning!
