Every time I've gone to this Tire Kingdom location, I've had a great experience. They are quick and very customer service oriented. This time a piece of the bottom of my car partially fell off and was dragging (not the first time that's happened) and they pulled it off for me, free of charge, and kindly filled my tires with air. My daughter brought her car in just for the tires to be rotated & when she left there was a leak in the radiator, the oil gasket was leaking & they drained out all the fluids thinking they were going to do the job, management she was unprofessional. The only reason I gave this 1 star is so I could post a review. I took my car in for an oil change and they talked me into replacing the water pump for more than $600. As a 92 yo widow, I think they were taking advantage of me. After I paid and got the car out, the electrical system was not working! They denied responsibility. I could not even open the gas tank to refuel and I am out $600. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO TIRE KINGDOM!!! read more

I was leaving for work this morning and out of nowhere i realized i had a flat tire on my brand new car. . this place was the closest to where i was at and the easily place to drive my car too. I was irritated and cranky explaining to Anthony that I was late to work and i hate a flat tire and i was still greeted with kindness and concern.. I was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes. Staff was friendly. They all greeted me , even the ppl that weren't servicing me and they made small conversation with me while i waited so i wasn't bored. The place was well kept up and clean. And the advertisement and pricings were clear of any confusion. And for the reassurance of the sale they showed me the damage on the car so i knew what was happening and what i was being charged for. read more

I came in as a walk in a week ago to receive a patch or plug for my tire because it was extremely low on tire pressure. I left my car there and they told me they would let me know when it would be ready. Closing time (6pm) still no call from them so I call and Ask if my car is ready and he says "yeah you can come" keep in mind that it's an hour after closing and I had to be the one to call him. All they did was put more pressure because they didn't see a nail.... Couple days later to today and it's low again so I go in and Ask if they can take a look at it again at 3:30 pm and it's 8pm now and they never called me and I'm restricted from obtaining my keys because ITS LOCKED IN THE STORE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. read more

Would not recommend this company. Guy behind the counter was having a conversation on the phone about his dog eating chicken bones he left out and could careless if the dog died - even said so to his girlfriend or someone. Wow. And that was while he was checking me out with my bill. On to the issues with the car. Came in due to a tire blow out the night before and they were the only company in town that had our tire - ok price. We kept the tire to use for another project, but they still charge you for them to dispose of the tire even though they are not and cannot take off the bill - I was charged with a service they didn't actually perform. When we got the car back they didn't replace the clips to the panel underneath the car that they broke off nor told us. Don't understand why they needed to take the panel underneath off to begin with to change the tire. Had to go replace those. Next day all tires were really low in pressure - they didn't fill the tires up either. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

DO NOT take your car here for anything else besides tires. I had battery issues where my car would not start if it sits for more than 10+ hours but if I jump it, then it works fine until it sits again. On Sept 3, my car died. It was a rainy day and Tire Kingdom is located down the street from me. I called to ask if they dealt with battery issues, they said yes. So I jumped start my car and now the check engine light came on. When I arrived at Tire Kingdom they said it cost $105 to run diagnostics and charging system check which will also give me the error code of the check engine light. The error code was due to a sensor shaft which then created a domino effect that leaked oil and ruin my sparks plugs and will cost $800 to get fixed. They were confident that it's the sensor shift that created the dead battery so I went ahead and got it done. Well, the next morning, my car didn't start! I brought it in again and they held it over night saying my battery drains by itself. I brought it into Wal-Mart under warranty but it had to pass the load test to get a replacement. The battery tested normal which means nothing is wrong with the battery. At this point, I'm furious for feeling ripped off of spending $800 and the original problem that I came in did not get resolved. Not to mention, the guys there are very arrogant and rude. Once they got their $800, they had no desire to help solve the original problem. At this point, I had enough of their lies, did they really check to see if my battery drained by itself? how come the charging system test did not reveal that? I rather spend my money at an honest place then to come back to them again. I thought it could be my aftermarket alarm so I found an alarm place through yelp and this place actually has a real mechanic on site. It's confirmed that it's NOT the alarm yet it still keeps dying. They held onto my car for 3 days straight and it did not die on them. So now it looks like I'm the girl who cried wolf if it only died on my watch. Anyhow, the guy did not charge me because nothing was done. He said if it happens again then he'll come to where I am to diagnose it. A few weeks gone by and it died on me. He kept his word and drove to my side of town and ran another test and found out it was my ignition switch that went bad. Cost me $40 for the parts and $20 for labor. All in all, Tire Kingdom failed at recognizing all the steps and that's because they claim to be mechanics but it's actually a bunch of youngsters that are inexperienced. It's clearly not all their fault; I blame myself for not getting a second opinion and could probably do away with the sensor shaft a little longer or find a much cheaper place. I trusted them and got screwed. read more

About 2 weeks ago I got a nail in my front driver side tire. Brough my car in here to get it patched, in total it cost me $32 (tire patch + new pressure monitoring system). I was in and out, without an appointment, in 40 minutes: pretty quick honestly. My service was good and efficient, for this alone I would of given this place 4 starts. BUT, today I got ANOTHER nail in the same tire. I brought it back in to get patched and the guys remembered me. They said they understood how annoying it must be to be coming in again for the same issue (even though it was totally my fault for driving in messy roads), and offered to patch it up free of charge. This really blew me away as they did not have to do that, but they cared. Thank you! Wish I could give more stars. read more

The worst service I've ever had for an oil change. Firstly, the oil change took 1.5 hours for some reason? Any other place I have been to has finished it under 30 minutes (usually 15-20). On top of this, the employees are completely apathetic to their job. They were being extremely loud laughing and yelling in the store with customers waiting, everyone looked uncomfortable. I personally will not be returning to Tire Kingdom again but instead go to "15 minute oil change" on Alafaya or a Pep Boys. (The price wasn't bad though tbh, about the same as any other given place). read more

Very disappointed had an 11 o'clock appointment for tires alignment and oil change. I was told an hour and a half to two hours since I was waiting. Two hours an attractive female came in for a one o'clock appointment and was in ad out in 1 and a half hour. My car had been in the bay since 11 . My car was finally backed out of bay and I asked staff if it was ready. Was told no waiting on alignment rack. I canceled alignment. 4 hours is to long for a tire change. Ok, I've been to my fair share of tire places but this place actually impressed me. Borrowed a friends car and car hit a pothole the size of a petit dejeuner and I showed up at 5:30 with a new steel wheel at the Alafaya TK. As I'm unloading the bad wheel and the new wheel from the trunk one of the managers comes by and asks what he can take care of. Thats good sign number one, since that shows me the guy isn't just standing around inside waiting for people to show up with problems. I show him the bad wheel, my friends paperwork was in the glovebox. The road hazard covers the dismount/remount and balance and the alignment is thrown in no charge. Told Brent we were headed out for dinner and to take his time if he had customers waiting in the lobby. 40 minutes later as I'm walking into the restaurant he calls and says its all done. Didn't waste any time in getting it all squared away and it could not have been easier. read more

Called at 8:30AM and asked if they had availability to patch two tires they said come on in. Asked if I wanted to get an alignment and I said yes. I ended up getting two new tires replaced and they checked my tire pressures on all wheels. Asked if it'll be ready by lunch they said yes. Came back at 1PM and I still had to wait over an hour. I'm driving home and 5 minutes later my tire pressure light came on and my car started making a scratching noise that I did not have before so I had to turn around and come back. I waited another an hour and a half for them to fix the scratching noise but they told me my tire pressure light is broken and they wanted to charge me to fix it, even though it was perfectly fine before I came in. They didn't accept responsibility for ruining my tire pressure system and wanted me to pay them more money to ruin my car. read more

They say women should not go to the car shop alone, as they are bound to get taken advantage of. My brother referred me here due to having a membership with them. I was automatically hesitant because I prefer to go directly through the dealership (Lexus, Toyota, etc). Upon my arrival I was treated with respect. Christian and Steve were pleasant to work with. Christian has a lot of knowledge in the automotive field, you can tell he's been doing this for a while. He made appropriate suggestions; however, did not force anything upon me, like a pushy car salesman. Christian was a kind and honest individual who took his time explaining anything that I did not understand and was sure to answer all of my questions. Excellent customer service! Got new tires this morning. I was helped my a gentleman named John. Very friendly and professional as well as very knowledgeable. My fiancé and I passed the time with a friendly conversation with him. The place is also kept very clean. They have complementary coffee in a little room with a soda machine and a television for those who would like to watch. Everything was spotless same goes for the bathroom. Didn't take long at all either I made an appointment online for 8 we were out by 10.theres some other things wrong with my car and there's no way I would think of taking it to another shop. Pretty impressed with this location. They lost a star because I had to wait about 1:15 to get my punctured tire repaired, but I should note that I didn't have an appointment. The initial 45 minutes was waiting for them to actually get to my truck - once work started it they moved on it very quickly. Fair prices also: only cost $15 for a new valve stem and $20 for a tire repair. Another reviewer said not to take your car here for anything else beside tires. Dude, it's called Tire Kingdom. You should have a trusted mechanic for engine problems. This place is as good as it gets for tires, though. read more

While I have a local mechanic for other car issues, I get my tires from Tire Kingdom because I like the lifetime flat repair service and there always seems to be one where I need it. This location is closest to my house and after getting a flat last week I made an appointment to have it fixed this morning. I didn't have to make an appointment, but wanted to get in and out as soon as possible. Pat, the manager, was excellent. I arrived early and he got me right in... found the hole (the nail or screw was long gone) and had it fixed, swapped out for my spare, and my spare returned back into the compartment in under an hour. It was the least inconvenient flat I've ever had to deal with. And Pat was extremely friendly and made my short wait more bearable. I took my BMW to the Tire Kingdom on Alafaya and E. Colonial for an alignment after they came highly recommend by some family members, a friend and even my mechanic. I must say that I was really impressed with the great customer service, professionalism and overall service. I was very impressed on how they handled service to my car. I have a Volkswagen Beetle and the head lights were out. It was nighttime before they could get around to my car. Because it would take additional time to get the situation fixed, they didn't want me to drive home with it without lights and offered to have it stay the night and it'll be fixed the next morning. They accommodated to my work schedule making sure I could pick it up before work. I love they put safety first and courtesy, making sure I was not out on the roads but that the problem was completely resolved before giving me my car! My tire blew out & I needed to get it replaced: I went to Tire Kingdom & was able to get it replaced for only the cost of labor & to renew my warranty because the replacement was covered on a warranty I had previously purchased with Tire Kingdom. Not only did Tire Kingdom replace my tire, they found metal in my other tire & helped me proactively replace that, & really spelled out what I was entitled to under warranty so I knew all my options. They also worked out a way to apply a special offer so I could replace my rear shocks, which were affecting how quickly my tires were aging. That week, everything that could be going wrong was going wrong. My car had issues, my phone was broken, my office was closing due to COVID19 stuff & I was under a lot of stress. I worked with Bernard, & not only did he help me with my car stuff I also just like had a moment & complained about my life falling apart (sorry Bernard) & he listened, was empathetic & let me use the office phone to place calls. Bernard truly went above & beyond to make me feel taken care of, & I couldn't possibly appreciate it anymore. I'm happy to come back to spend my money at Tire Kingdom when I need car assistance. They also always do a great job of not making me feel like an idiot when I go in, when I know nothing about cars. I never feel taken advantage of like I do sometimes at other auto shops. I am currently still waiting in the tire shop for a tire change for about the past hour my car has been suspended in the air untouched as everyone just walks around and continues to say it is getting done. They were very slow and this was very unprofessional since it was crucial that I take a legally blind passenger to a very important eye appointment. I came in at noon and it is now 2 o'clock. I will never return here! they are not customer oriented and waste your time on the clock instead of preforming service within a professional and reasonable timeframe.
