I had 2 tires replaced at the tire kingdom in Zephyrhills. Immediately they began cupping on the inside. Like within a week of commuting. I brought it to the Tire Kingdom on Clark in Sarasota and had two new tires installed and an alignment. The tech said I was out of toe adjustment. When I got the car out the camber on the rear passenger side was so bad the tire was rubbing the filler neck! It chewed up the inside of the tire and wore down the inner lip of the wheel. I replaced anything I hadn't replaced last year (springs, struts, shocks, sway bars, ball joints) with ALL new suspension components (Front and rear upper and lower control arms, rear toe arms, sway bar end links) and brought it back in for an alignment. I was told my car was ready. I came in, I paid and started to walk out. I turned around and asked for the alignment sheet. This is what I was given. It's abysmal and if I'd just walked out without asking for the sheet I'd have not known. Some backstory, the shop on Clark USED TO BE fantastic. The alignment tech was a true professional. The lady at the front desk went through everything if any issues were found. Now, the people in front are accommodating when it comes to scheduling, but apparently aren't looking at the work getting sent out. The new tech has left 3 straight alignments on my car a mess. I'm out several hundred dollars in tires and alignments and have to find another place to fix this cluster****. read more

This past weekend, I drove over a nail and had a flat tire. I brought it to tire Kingdom as they were on one of the only tire shops open on a Saturday afternoon. I called ahead and asked if there was a wait and the man said that there would be no wait so I arrived 20 minutes later. Upon entering, the man immediately looked annoyed saying that they just took another car back and they weren't sure if they could see me today. He went outside to take a look at the tire and upon entering back inside he had a smirk on his face and told me that all four of my tires were so beyond fixable that they would all need to be replaced. He said that my tires were way overdue for replacement as they hadn't been changed since 2020. I was shocked with how confident he was in his statement considering that I have notes on my phone of the last time I got new tires, which was 2022. I asked how much would it cost to fix just one tire and he dramatically said that the damage was so bad that it would be a liability to them to not replace all four tires. I felt like the whole recommendation was a complete scam as I clearly didn't know that much about cars and the man wanted to upsell me. I told him no thank you and went down the street to tires plus where they inspected my entire vehicle and said that the tire was fixable and changed it for $30 and did not have any comments on my other tires. Also worth noting that my last oil change somewhere else I did a tire alignment and rotation and specifically asked about the condition of the tires and they said they were in good condition. I also had them inspected in early 2025 and was told the same thing. I will not be back to this location. read more

I went to this tire kingdom on 09/20/2025 for a wheel alignment and to change my flat wheel and put my spare on ,after waiting 2 hours,they could align my car bc they said the nut on tie rod was too tight to take it to any location and get it realigned for free just show them the receipt and to change that one tire I still got charged $187.00and the problem was not resolved,I got the but for the tie rod loosen took it to another location in Bradenton and they told me I had to pay full price bc the manager there wasn't supposed to charge me for something that wasn't fixed or should've told me that I can't take it to another location to get it serviced, I only went there bc I bought the car that same day way out there and live in Riverview,and I basically lost my money , I was charged a full balance package to change that one tire and a full alignment read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I purchased four new tires and had them installed at this location. They installed them and did a front end alignment and in just three weeks. The two front tires completely wore on the insides all the way down to the wires. Upon going back to the location, I was told that I had two defective tires that completely wore out in three weeks and it was not their problem. I was told It was not an alignment problem, and told to go away. What are the odds of having two $250.00 defective tires that wore out identically on both sides wind up on the front of my car??? Alex the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Do not go here!! UPDATE 2/6/25 6:00 00PM I did call customer service on 2/6/25 at 8:30 AM. I was told that this would be escalated to a Regional Manager and to expect a call the same day by 1:00 PM. Care to guess if I got that call? If you guess NO you are correct. I had to go to another shop to get my car back on the road and they were SHOCKED at how far out alignment the tires were. I have a written statement from that shop on this. I called and asked how much it would cost to take a look at the issue I was having with my car and was told they don't charge for inspections. I then drive my car up there and explain in greater detail what's going on and what I've recently done to the car myself. Whoever the bigger dude is that works the front desk comes back about 20 minutes later telling me I need all new rotors and a break flush, okay that all adds up with what's going on, I then ask the price and he tells me over $1000. I then ask how much just the break flush is, because rotors arent that expensive, ($50-$110 per rotor depending on which ones you buy) and he said the break flush is only $110 but that won't do anything for you on its own. I told him ya I know that but I can do all 4 of my rotors for $200 and then come back for the break flush. I'm not sure what's going on in his life for him to be so angry but the way he acted was not professional or acceptable in any way shape or form. he begins yelling at me telling me I wasted his time and the shops time and that he could've charged me for an inspection if I were upfront with him from the beginning. I told him I'm not paying $1000 for rotors that cost $200 if the price were more reasonable I would've just paid you guys to do it because I've been working in my car the past two days and am over it. The man continues yelling furiously that I took advantage of them when in reality he's mad I won't let them take advantage of me. I'm not sure why he felt the need to be rude and yell maybe because I'm younger and his old ass thinks that it's okay because he's miserable with his life. I hit debris in the road and damaged 2 of my tires. I booked an appointment online to have tires replaced and to assess bends or cracks in my rims. Day of, the tires didn't show so I left it overnight. Next day they put them on but when I picked up the car, it was pulling hard to the left. Apparently the alignment they did was off. I gave the car back and picked it up the next day and after another alignment was done. No more pull, so far so good. I asked specifically for them to check for bent rims / cracks so I don't ruin my $1700 new tires (online price said $1590 but whatever). They said no bend or crack was found to repair. I took my car on the highway and it began to shake quite a bit above 50 mph. I took my car to Scotti's and they put my rims on a machine to spin them. Even without fancy equipment, you could see HUGE bends in the rim. How did they miss this? I even told them to specifically look for this damage... They asked me for a google review, so here you go. Had an oil change scheduled for 2:00 PM on a Tuesday. Without asking if it worked for my schedule it was changed by the shop to 10:00 AM on Wednesday. I called Wednesday to ask if I could come at 2:00 PM since mornings don't work for me. The shop rescheduled for 2:00. Great. We got there at 1:50. After 45 minutes of the front desk guy asking me questions about my fleet account, he left to go drive a friend to Wawa. Our services were paid for and approved by the fleet company but the car had never been worked on. We waited an entire hour -- at 3:00 when the kid came back from Wawa he decided that the work had been approved and could take it back, but let me know oil change would take an additional 40 minutes. So that would make it ending at 3:45ish, when the original appointment was at 2:00. So I wasted an hour waiting for them to do nothing and then I had to get the fleet account to request a refund. Made 8 an appointment. I was only one there. After waiting 40 minutes I could see my car wasn't touched and still in parking lot. I wanted to reschedule but was reassured it would go quickly. I finally left at 9:50. All seems ok but then my car made a terrible noise upon acceleration. I called back and they said nothing could have happened d because all they did was drain the oil but bring it back It was after hours any they were closed. . A mechanic looked at it and the air cleaner box was laying loose in the engine. After stressful hours trying to resolve this it was pure negligence on their part. I have been coming to the location on Clark for three years and have always had great service. After the hurricane, I drove over some debris, a fallen fence with nails sticking out of it. I brought my vehicle in and they took tires off on side effected and water tested for leaks. I had my oil changed and a light bulb replaced at the same time. So get this, I go to the tire kingdom on Clark road in Sarasota, FL to get new calipers and pads on my truck. I brought the calipers, all they had to do was switch them out, put on new pads then bleed the system. Wanted $850 for just that. They said that when they replace any brake pads on any vehicle they also put on new rotors . WTF!!!! that's about the stupidest thing ever. My rotors are almost new. So ya, I went home and did the job myself in just under an hour. they lost out on easy money over greed. read more

I bought four new tires and had them installed on a jaguar. The first impression is always crucial. I am 70 years old, a retired businessman. I don't expect to be greeted as "brother", "buddy", or by a young uneducated CSR changing my name to a shorter version without asking me first. The familiarity was rather offensive. The tires are OK, the price was right and the service went as promised. Then they tried to sell me additional work like an alignment, which is handled regularly by my regular shop and wasn't needed. Companies and management need to train their people to handle the customer in a respectful way. many people do not like to be treated with unwanted and unwarranted familiarity. No one wants to be treated like an idiot who will buy any of the unwarranted up-sale done as a routine to increase the bottom dollar. read more

What can you say about a business when you call one location and the guys barely speaks English and is rude, so you call another location and they give you an appointment 4 days away and then when you show up they have no appointment in their computer? And then that person argues with you about how understaffed they are and how you can just sit there and wait for a totally indeterminate amount of time in case they can eventually got you in. He's even belligerent about the inconvenience and being understaffed and blames covid, which seems to now be the new mantra for incompetence or laziness. Oh well, two strikes and you're out. This Place is the Best!!! This Tire Kingdom is excellent in customer service and repair. I have 5 drivers in my family and we have using this location since we moved to Sarasota in 2013. Every time we have encountered car trouble, this is our go to place, whether we can drive in, tow or push our cars/trucks, this is the place to be. Brian is an fantastic manager and he sees to it that all of his customers are well taken care of. We used to live a mile away, but have since moved 8 miles away. I scheduled the appointment on line for my wifes car. The drop off time was scheduled for 5:30-6:30. I figured that meant the oil change would be completed in between those times. When we arrived at 5:25 to drop off the car, I was rudely told that my appointment wasn't until 6:45. I asked about the email I received with the times listed and the clerk turned the computer screen towards me and pounded his finger on the screen showing the 6:45 appointment. Maybe I didn't understand the online scheduling process, but he didn't have to be so rude. We then went back at 7:25 to pick up the car. It wasn't ready...we sat and waited a good 20 minutes for them to complete it...all the while watching the rude clerk wander the parking lot talking on his cell phone and spending time with his (I assume) girlfriend. He then proceeded to pull his car up and park it right in front of the door. We then watched him drive a customer's truck over a median/curb to get it into the bay...apparently because his car was in the way. I'd be livid if he treated my car that way!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! This clerk obviously doesn't care about repeat customers. I will never return! read more

My Saab 9.3 is an older car and has had some problems. With being a car not even made anymore, I feel car repair places usually take advantage of that and quote me outrageous costs to repair. Tire Kingdom did more than a great job on my last visit. They fixed the car way beyond my expectations and even adjusted a couple things with no to little charge. They are honest (which is hard to find in auto maintenance/repair industry) and do excellent work. Julie, at the front desk, is awesome on communicating and is friendly and welcoming. And not fake friendly but genuine and real which is so appreciated. Brian, the manager, went out of his way to repair my car correctly and tell me what's wrong with it. They were sure to send me on my way safe and knowledgeable about my vehicle and what it needed. Finally, my car is fixed and runs the best it has in 10 years, and it was not anything close to what 2 other car places in town said it was. I took my car to Tire Kingdom on 4626 Clark Rd. Sarasota simply for an oil change, was welcomed by Andrew and ended up with receiving a quote for several other services of $771.81, services I do not need right away. The next day, my car started showing problems it didn't have before, warning light for my malfunction in engine and car running sluggish. The car was running perfectly before. I took it to the shop, talked to Andrew again and he told me it must had been a coincidence, he drove my car, performed an inspection and told me that there was a problem with cylinder 3 misfire. Important to say that one of the services they performed the day before was a vehicle inspection. How come they didn't diagnose that problem the day before? In the end, they didn't take responsibility nor did anything about it and came up with another estimate to fix the car in the amount of $ 528.00. My car now is stuck in the garage, cannot drive it, it needs fixing. I'll have to tow it to another shop, a more honest and competent one. I will never go back and absolutely do not recommend this place. :( read more

They promptly gave me a quote and gave me several options how to best handle the repairs. I was able to do one repair there and next week will bring it in for the second repair.
