Got all my tires replaced here. Every single one has popped in the last 6 months. Usually I would blame it on the roads here, but today is the last straw. I am currently stranded in a bad area. I am a 29 year old female. My tire was flat as soon as I came out to my car from the appointment I went to 5 blocks away. I'm done I will never go back there. Thank you Tire pros for causing me the most unsafe tire experience in my entire life. Never had my tired pop this many times. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Scott, Steve & TirePros. I've been taking my car there for tires & maintenance for several years and I'm always completely satisfied. I also have an older van that has been going to a different shop in Lakeport but I kept on getting treated like they were doing me a favor to even look at it. And they'd keep the van for days. Well the A/C went out in the van & this time I called TirePros. Boy am I glad I did-they knew what the problem was in less than an hour & I got it back the same day. What an awesome experience. I called Tire Pro's to apologize for missing my 2:15pm appointment today and to see if I could Schedual a different one the next they had a free spot open; the guy who answered the phone (I think his name was Mike) was extremely rude to me and refused to schedual another appointment for me right before rudey hanging upon me. This was so uncalled for and upsetted me so much that I literally created this Yelp account only to post this review about them! I would like to give 0 stars, as one is way to gracious. These people are frauds and crooks! I made an appointment to get the AC fixed in my perfectly fine, perfectly running, zero problems car. They took my keys and Said they'd call with a diagnosis. We didn't receive a call, so we called them. The only thing they could say was it needed something more than a recgarge, they'd look into it the next day. The ENTIRE next day goes by and they don't have anymore answers so we finally go in, after standing in the office for 10ish mintues no one comes in to help us. So we drive around the back of the building, where I find my car shoved in a back corner if their lot, 2 cars deep, against a fence with both the driver and passenger door wide open, no one around it with anyone able to walk in and have access to it off the street. We were finally able to track down the owner who was deeply apologetic but had no further info on the vehicle they'd had for over 24 hours at this point. We tell him we expect to hear from him by close of business or we want our car back. A few hours later he calls and tells us, wait for it this is a good one, the alternator and battery in the car are toast and that's why my AC doesn't work. Remember, I've had zero problems with the car other than intermittent AC issues. They quote $700 to change those two items with no guarantee it'll fix the AC. We took our car to get a second opinion. The battery did appear weak at the time of leaving their shop. But my car sat in the back lot for who knows how long with the doors open, 6 dome lights on, and who knows what else. We charged the battery and got a second opinion today from a REAL mechanic, who says there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the battery or alternator and he even showed me how to turn my AC on properly so it really did work all along! Moral of the story: tirepros tried to rip me off for a problem THEY created that it never really had. This is horrible HORRIBLE business all the way around. I can't imagine how many people they've ripped off over the years. BEWARE!!!! read more

Recently my parents were on a trip from the Central Valley to Fort Bragg. I got a call from them at 5:00 PM asking if i could find them a tire shop to replace 2 of the tires on their trailer that had blown out. They were just coming into the Clearlake area on HWY 20 so I first called Tire Pros in Cleaklake. They had the tires in stock but would not help them because they would be closing 10 mins after they got there. Really, you can't help out an elderly couple in their 70's even if they get there before you close. He said sorry I cant help you and hung up. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Next I called Carlton Tire in Lakeport and spoke with the owner Gary. He informed me that they had closed about 15 mins ago and due to a large fire in the area his guys had already gone home. He checked his stock anyway and said he had them in stock. He told me to tell my folks to come by anyway and he would take care of them. This is the way business used to be handled. I have the utmost appreciation and respect for this business and would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Gary and staff for a job well done. read more

I called Tire Pros to get my car in for new breaks and to rotate tires and get a full maintenance. They scheduled me in for the next day. I also had a squeaky something I needed looked at. I brought my car in and they took care of everything of me. They looked over the car for about 10 minutes and then gave me a quote and I was very happy with it. I left the car over night which was ok because I had a ride. They were totally ok with that since my car was a BIG job. The shop called me later that evening to let me know my car would be ready in the morning and that they fixed the squeak with no additional charged. HAPPY GIRL! The next day, I went to pick up my car, I was really happy when I drove away with no squeaks and my breaks felt amazing! I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone. They are reliable and do a great job. The service was excellent and the price was on point. read more

Hello if you have damaged threads under your castle nut. It may take some extra time because these guys don't appreciate a good tool for repairing the threads. If they tell you they can't fix the threads and there going to have to replace your hub please remind them that chase em back tools has the tool they need. I was told replacing parts instead of fixing them is how they make there money. When I expressed concern for the tactic of replacing instead of repairing and it costing customers time and money; I was placed on hold and the owner came on and told me to go f*** myself. read more

I did not like the old owners, so hardly ever went to Tire Pro. Have to say that the new owners are the best. Trust them, prices are good and I now take both our cars there for not just tires but regular scheduled maintenance. Their prices are much better than the Toyota and Honda dealers and the work excellent. So glad to find a good car mechanic up here! read more

After my sister went to them the first time, they gave her a laundry list of parts that needed replaced. The parts were replaced and I brought the car back today only to have them tell me the car was too low, their machine wouldn't work and recommended Lakeport Tire. This would have been very helpful information on the first visit. read more

these guys are the biggest crooks in clearlake i took my 4runner in they were supposed too replace a bunch of parts that i brought in with car ball joints a half shaft they charged me $795 for work that they did not do when i asked to see the work order they could not find it!! go figure i knew that they didn't have the proper tools to even do the work i wanted done or the knowledge to do. so too get my car back from them crooked basterds i had to pay them so i contacted the state of ca department of automotive consumer affairs that guy took my parts that were left over from what tire pros and did not contact me for over a year so it was too late too sue in court. do not do business with these guy they strght lied to me i have worked on cars all my life now i'm getting too old to do it so i thought i would let someone else do the work. never again. they are so bad that when i got there the guy was trying to put in a bad half shaft, so i told him i would buy a new one and bring it back witch i did they are a joke read more

Had an appointment for new tires here last week. Had been quoted a good price so it was worth the 40 minute drive at the end of my workday. Got there and was told the wrong tires had been ordered. I accepted that mistakes happen and rescheduled for the day after Thanksgiving at 10am. When I arrived, there was one other car in the shop. The guy acted surprised to see me as if I was not on the schedule, but took my keys. Half an hour later, there were 4 more cars in the shop who had been taken in after I arrived and my car was still right where I had left it. It was obvious, I would be "worked in" when they had time. I asked for my keys back and left. I didn't have time to sit and wait all day to give someone my hard earned cash. I then went to Walmart and save $200 on the exact same tires! My car was in and out in less than an hour! I try to give my business to locals but am constantly disappointed. Didn't even know Walmart sold tires! read more

I won't be back,it started great bought tires got a good price and installed in a timely manner.Took my truck in for an oil change and a problem with shifting into gear,they fixed it,so I take our Jeep in for a delux oil change,foam cleaning check and top off all fluids under the hood it said.two weeks later the keep is shifting funny and stalling.We take it in to get it checked,are told it's a 50 dollar charge for testing,but that will be applied to the repair.Get a call saying they found the problem.The transmission was 2quarts low?So I ask why wasn't this found when I had the deluxe oil change done.They looked me straight in the face and said we only check to see if the fluid is good or not?Ive been around cars for 40 years,to check the fluid in a transmission it's got to be warm and running,so if they checked to see if it was good or not don't you think they'd notice it was low by 2 quarts?Then they charged me 69 bucks for putting in 2 quarts ?! I'm done,and won't be recommending these guys read more

Very disappointed in this place. A couple months ago spent $70 on a oil change, within a month of that i bought a brand new $500 set of tires for the same car, when i got the tires they said i also get a free oil change. I let them know and showed them the paper work that i had just gotten a oil change so they said it was no problem i would still recieve my free oil change when the car was due was for one which i was very happy about. On a saturday i called and made the appointment to get my oil change the following friday and reminded them i was told i got a free one and they said no problem took my info including yr, make, model of the car. Went in for my appointment, gave them my paper work to show the one oil change i got there as well as my tire purchase, the guy looked over my paper work and said "oh its a synthetic oil change so what we do is $25 off the total" i asked why i was told i got a free oil change two times and now its not. All he said was " well if its standard oil its free but with synthetic we do $25 off" i told him i understand what hes saying but i dont understand why when i got the tires they knew what kind of car it was and that it needed synthetic yet still led me to believe it was a FREE oil change. All he could say was "well its just always been our policy to give a $25 credit towards synthetic oil changes." Mind you this same guy is the one who sold me the tires and said i get a complimentary oil change when my car is due. I dont believe the customer is always right but in this case i was and this was definitely disappointing. Thanks Tire Pros for all your great customer service and ruining a single working moms day off!! Very big of you to admit you gave false information 2 times. Guess not even apologizing for any inconvenience is company policy too. read more
