I've been getting my car serviced or fixed here back when Sunny, the dad, was running the place. Now more than a decade later, Brain, the son, is the running the place. The quality of the service and the honesty in the business remained the same, if not better. I understand finding a trustworthy mechanic is a common trouble for all of us and I will recommend this place to anyone that's looking for just that. Before I came to Tire Pros in Upland, California, I first read all the reviews regarding the service here. There were a couple of bad reviews about this place that made me think twice about coming here, but through my experiences working for a fortune 500 company that is known for Customer Service Excellence, I knew that 4 out of 5 of people are more likely going to post a bad review than a good one so I gave it a shot, my car needs some new brakes, oil change and some other help anyhow. When I first arrived at the shop a really friendly little black and white dog greeted me but none of the workers were inside of the store. I waited for a bit and a gentleman by the name of Bryan came from the back of the shop and helped me out and was so helpful at explaining everything to me in detail. I had asked Bryan who his supervisor was so I can give him a good review about his customer service and work ethic, he told me he was the owner and that the business was passed down from his father. these guys completely ripped me off! i bought 4 new tires with free tire rotation and balancing. when i took my car back in for the balancing they did the service and wanted to charge me $75.00 plus they didnt want to release my vehicle unless i got a complete brake job ($950.00) i had to fight with the manager and have my dad come down and show them that the brakes were fine. i wouldnt go here ever again read more

I think all the prior reviews must be friends of the owner or people that are used to paying an arm and a leg. I walked in and asked how much for a tire patch, he ignored me. Another man walked in and he began helping him instead.That customer started giving his info and address the str was country club drive, apparently I wasn't a big sale so he didn't want to waste his time with me. I waited for 10 more minutes and then asked again, he quoted me $20 for a patch. That's the most I've ever heard. I drove 2 min east and paid $8 at another tire place. Not coming back to this over priced place when I need new tires that's for sure. read more

Women STAY AWAY! The Asian guy who was working the desk was so incredibly rude. I asked about my AC and he cut me off before I was done explaining the situation. Then tells me I would just have to see it. I then asked what is the basic and I about laughed in his face when he said 70 bucks just to diagnose it. That's 30 bucks more than Rancho Auto Care quoted me and that's just to see what the problem is, not to fix it or any labor. What a complete rip off. Won't ever take my business there. read more

I went to this location to get an sensor fixed on my truck just to pass smog and when I went originally I did not have any problems but when I picked the car up my air conditioner was blown out and my windshield wipers is going off and on by themselves my truck is all messed up now from taking it there for only a,sensor . I went because was right by smog place was getting smog done at Brian was nice however he does not correct his mistakes his mechanic always say something not his fault when truly it is I did not have any of these problems before I went but now having alot if them .I will never return worst place ever worst experience .. read more

This place is great for fixing your car. The staff their are so friendly and communicate very well. They tell you exactly the problems your car has and explains everything to you, unlike other shops who tell you a whole bunch of stuff is wrong with your car using lingo that i don't understand just to rip me off. I have been taking my car here for years since it was Big O for everything from oil changes, tune-ups, and when anything else in my car fails. Tire Pros of Upland (next to the carwash on Foothill) is one of the only garages I trust to work on my vehicles. I own Audi and Toyota and GM sports cars and trucks and have had this shop do a variety of work including performance suspension, tires and wheels, engine oil and preventative maintenance. When I have a problem that affects drivability I drop the car off in the morning and get a ride to work and before the end of the day the problem has been diagnosed, quoted fairly, and usually repaired if parts are available. Speaking of parts, Tire pros uses high quality parts and warranties each part for life. The mechanics are highly trained and skilled in their craft. They work as a team and check each other's work. His team immediately jacked the car up on the spot and replaced the bad tire before taking the car in the shop to replace the other three worn tires. This place is awesome! Excellent customer service and prices. I got my tires changed here multiples times and I can never be happier. I also got my performance springs installed here as well. The technician is extremely experienced with cars and did a great jot installing my springs to the car. The owner Brian answered all my questions about tire size & fitment. Since I had lowered my car, he made sure that the tires would fit perfectly and no rubbing against the fender. I'd say that I have found the perfect place for my car! I just got referred to this shop recently and I've been here three times since then. Even though it's 20 minutes away, I'd rather come here for my car than shops less than 5 minutes away now... Make sure when calling this place of business to ask several times what the "WHOLE.... TOTAL" is, ask at least 4 times and repeat it back several times before you decide to use there services. I was very specific with asking the employee that turns out to be the owner with what I needed done and he quoted a quarter of the total than when I was ready to make my appointment he completely changed the total. He's hyper on the phone and jumps a little ahead of him self and obviously doesn't pay attention. I would not recommend going here. It ended up causing me allot of problems so I went else were. "PLEAS BE AWARE OF THIS BUSINESS" I don't usually use yelp, matter a fact I've never used it but want help others from running into issues as I did. First time here was when my old Honda needed an emergency oil change lol. They topped off other fluids and even did a lil tweaks(with permission) was very pleased came back with my wifes car and same results. Sold our old cars and brought our new ones with different jobs they always get the job done and go beyond. After a quick overturn and a decent price on a pretty big job, I have to agree with my cousin. I don't recommend this place to anyone!! I ran over a nail this morning in my BMW and this is he closest tire shop to my house. I was speaking to Brian Kim the owner and he said the nail was to big that I needed to replace the tire. I said ok what is your quote for a new one he said $364.54 out the door with install. I let him know I wanted to call the dealership to see if he was in fact cheaper, and he wrote it on the back of of his business card said call me when you're ready. I went home until I heard back from the dealer and Brian was in fact cheaper so I call for him to order the tire and he said the price went up to over $440 that he missed quoted me and didn't want to honor his original price. I would not recommend this place as there are just trying to get the most money out of you for everything!!! I went to a BMW dealer and they gave me the price of $365.08 so in the end it proves this place is just out to get you!! read more
