I came in to the front desk to ask about buying some headlights/backlights, the guy at the front desk told me to pull my car around so he could see what kind of lights were needed, so I went to my car and did as he said. As I'm pulling my car up to the garage, trying to straighten my wheels out the mechanic is yelling for me to stop so I stopped my car rolled my window down and he is yelling at me pointing his finger in my face saying "what do you think you're doing, you have no right to pull into my shop". It scared me so much I started to cry as he is a grown man yelling at a woman! Nonetheless a potential customer! The guy from the front desk who told me to pull up acted like I did something wrong and didn't do anything to help me so I immediately left. I will never go back nor will my mother who has been going to this location for years. I know the correct etiquette for an oil change spot and I didn't do anything wrong pulling up to the garage after an employee told me too. If I wasn't supposed to pull in he should have communicated correctly. read more

I've used Jiffy Lube for many years and never a problem using an online coupon. After waiting over 30 min at this location, they went to log me in and I showed the coupon obtained from jiffylube.com, showing it was valid at the two Missoula locations yet the tech said it wasn't valid there. I said I thought that was strange since the coupons are location specific and he said its been that way for years. WTF? Now I'm pissed. How about you asshats fix this? Brought my girlfriends car in for an oil change was greeted at the front desk by a guy who cut me off while I was saying hello by saying a recorded speech, like he had to. he told me it would be 25 minutes. I sat and waited. It was 40 minutes. Without asking me what type of oil change I would like. they pulled my vehicle in gave me a synthetic oil change without my permission told me it was $99. I asked if there was an Uber discount he said no in which the Uber app clearly has a 15% discount. They charged me $106 for an oil change on a four-cylinder car. I would never recommend this place to anybody they are rude and because they have been ridiculed so many times the operator acts like he has to be there, and he has to be nice. What a joke! Not the typical "mechanic" operating systems, everyone there was open hearted and helpful. I felt really taken care of, and not taken advantage of at all! I called ahead, and Damon, the manager, advised me regarding the best time of day to get the quickest service. Taking his advice, I was able to pull up to the business and get served with no waiting. The service was friendly and efficient, and the employees were very accommodating to my pet. I felt like I was informed about future services that my vehicle could benefit from, without feeling like I was being pressured to buy service upgrades that I didn't need. They went above and beyond, helping with other issues I have with my car and gave me very knowledgeable options. I hesitantly took my car here in April 2011. (Hesitantly because I've heard multiple horror stories about Jiffy Lubes not replacing the oil pan bolt, etc.) I had a couple things to ask them before they started, but they rushed me inside and started taking my information. When we came to the oil, they told me that THEY DIDN'T HAVE 10W-30!! Are you kidding me???? I mean, my car is old, but I find it hard to believe when they told me not enough cars use 10W-30 anymore. And then he tried to convince me that 5W-30 would be ok. I told him that I would have to go elsewhere. By then, they were in such a hurry that they already had most of my stuff opened up (which I didn't appreciate). Upon reading some of the other reviews for this place (which are harder to find because they are "filtered," I will never go to a Jiffy Lube again). I started at the Jiffy Lube on Brooks and was greeted by Kendra, who was not only unfriendly and rushed (there were only two other cars,) but told me that she wouldn't look at something unrelated to getting my oil change for a few bucks more. "Sorry, that's not my job." Understandable, since that is not her job, but this has never happened to be at a Jiffy Lube--they have always been willing to at least LOOK for 5 seconds at something. I got out of there with the quickness and went over the to the Jiffy Lube on Broadway. Keith and the team greeted me and were super warm and friendly. The atmosphere was much more relaxed than the Brooks location (possibly due to location) and I felt that Keith really cared about my experience. He had no problem taking a quick peek at an issue I had with my car and recommended where to get it fixed. He stayed in communication with me throughout the oil change to recommend services (no thanks!) and teach me a bit about what they were doing. The service took a total of 20 minutes on Wednesday at 2:00pm. Plus, there was a coupon on Facebook for $10 off, so I got a signature oil change for $19.99 total. I guess this and a few other Jiffy Lube locations in Missoula have a promotion going on where a signature oil change is $29.99, while the Brooks location is the usual $39.99. Ouch! read more

Unfortunately this Jiffy Lube does not care that it's customers are inside the building and not wearing masks potentially spreading coronavirus to other customers and staff. This is the best Jiffy Lube I have been to in Montana! William and Andrew were fast with great customer service, all while being understaffed. Unlike the Bozeman store, they serviced my car in under 30 minutes without one complaint about it being an ARI vehicle and despite have multiple cars and clearly well understaffed. They did in 30 minutes what takes 5 hours and multiple complaints later in Bozeman. If you travel as much as I do, I would schedule your oil change around this store for most efficient and friendly service! Normally, I just do my oil myself or take it to my dealer, but I needed a job done quick. Big mistake. Pricing was atrocious ($85 because my car needs "special synthetic oil or my car could break down"?) and was at least twice as much as I've paid elsewhere. Oil change took over an hour and I was the only car in the bay at the time. To top it off, there was oil all over my steering wheel and drivers side window. Never again. read more

I was in a hurry and unable to get an appointment at the dealership. I am happy to have clean oil, but so very disappointed that I was charged $127 for an oil change. The oil change would have been much less expensive at the dealership and tire rotation and inspection would have been included. I can not complain about the service, but it was simply too expensive. I want to give facts about my experience taking my car to them. No oil leak beforehand but as the days went on I continued to smell oil burning. Finally I checked under the hood and oh my word. Talk about oil all over the place. But it is showing full on the stick. Completely empty in the oil pan. Again no issues before taking it in and now I've got a big problem. Then they tell me that my cabin air filter needed changing and ever since they supposedly put a new one in the air that enters the car smells like musky old socks. Really guys. Not nice what is going on there. I honestly should have done my research first but I was on the go and just put my trust in the wrong hands. So I will be addressing this issue. read more

The guy that worked on our car even admited there was not on crack in the windsheild befor they changed the oil. I sent my teenaged daughter with the car to get the oil changed, at her expense, so she could use it for a short trip. When she left, I told her to tell them no when they asked about changing to a synthetic oil. She did as I had asked but the man told her the car requires a blend. She was very surprised to find out that meant a synthetic blend and was going to cost her $75 instead of $40. First, it was BS to say the car required a blend-it had never used a blend before that. Second, it was really lousy to take advantage of a young girl and pull a fast one that cost more money, and now requires us to stick with the blend. NOT COOL! read more
