This place was very shady. I brought my car in because the tire pressure alert went off and I could see a nail in the tire. I asked how much it would cost to patch it and was told to wait while they checked. The worker looked at my tire, came back, and said it could not be patched and that I needed a new tire. When I asked why, he said "let me show you," then proceeded to jack up my car and remove the tire without asking permission or mentioning any cost. He then showed me a bubble in the tire and said it was unsafe to drive. I told him I wasn't comfortable choosing a tire and that my husband would need to bring the car back. He then got the manager, who said they could patch the tire for $20. This felt shady since I had just been told the tire had internal damage and was unsafe to drive and just patch. At no point was pricing discussed, and there is no posted pricing anywhere. I had asked for a quote, and no price was given until after they took off my tire. The worker removed my tire without telling me there would be a charge. After I declined service, the manager said it would be $10 for removing the tire. I told him I was never informed of this and would not have agreed if I had known. The worker then claimed he told me the price earlier, which is not true. The manager began harassing me saying he told you $20 and eventually told me to leave and never come back, multiple times. My husband and I were on our way to Berkely from San Jose for dinner. Halfway there our car's TPS system indicated there was something off. We felt there could be a puncture since we had one on one of our tires a couple times. This was the only place open close to where we got off the freeway, we called them and they said to come in.
