Just walked in a few minutes ago because im getting my brakes evaluated next door. The gentleman at the counter didn't even acknowledge that I was there, no eye contact, no, " I'll be right with you". He just kept on staring at his computer. Even the worker in the garage area saw me and did nothing. I was referred to this location for what I thought was a needed alignment. Went in and found that it wasn't alignment but tires needed to be replaced. Being a female, I am always suspect of mechanics trying to take advantage. After he told me the price for replacing tires, I told him that I wanted to price check which he was fine with. I sat there and called a few places I previously had dealt with. The price he gave me was good for what I needed so I went with him. They were done in about 30-35 minutes. After leaving I found that the shaking had stopped and it was indeed the tires. They did a great job, but most of all, didn't try to take advantage of me. Got a referral from a local mechanic in Monrovia to come here as I needed an alignment done on my LX470 and was not disappointed. Called in morning and got a hold of "John" (I believe) who was very helpful with all my questions and referred me with the 50$ (usually $60) deal that they had going which was super awesome! The process took quite a while but was well worth it because they aligned my car and fixed the radial pull that was pretty severe at no extra cost. They also have a wide selection of tires to choose from and if they don't I do believe they'd do their best to find what you are looking for at an affordable price. Wanted to replace my tires, but they didn't have it in stock because Michelin had those models on back order(they didn't make enough than what they were selling). Long story short.. I had to replace my tires ASAP because they were really bad and the only place that had them was America Tires. I paid roughly $100 than what Tire Zone would have charged me there. I came to Tire Zone after I got my tires changed to get my alignment done and I was out by 30 minutes even with two people in front of me. Fast & great service Paid $50 for the alignment. Sorry to say, went in a few times after John left and moved to the San Bernardino Rd. Location and met with the son. Horrible customer service. John use to take care of me and all my cars had his tires on them, even my kids. Unfortunately, Johns son doesn't know how to take care of his customers. Especially when you've bought more than 4 sets of tires and always came in for care on those tires. Anyway, I'll be taking my hard earned money and my business elsewhere. Sad part is, I went to Johns shop in San Bernardino Rd. and his "guys" scratched a pair of $3k wheels so now none of my business will go to Tire Zone. It's sad too because I had such a good rapport with John, o well all it takes is one.. wait I mean a couple of mishaps and as a customer, I can only accept so much disappointment. Just plain bait and switch. advertised free installation. But they charged more for the tire with free installation. 195/60/15 yoko avid tires. When i called, they asked $74 per tires, and when total installation for $380. when i mention the craigslist ad for free installation, guy put me on hold and asked manager(i could still hear their conversation.) He came back quoting me for $360 plus tax. I asked him with free install, the price should be $296, he said the manager quoted him different price with free installation. I insisted their ad is wrong. he keep insisting that it it what it is.. REally!! IT IS WHAT IT IS?? Just hung up on him. Just don't like being fooled by the people they think they can lie and cheat. I really enjoy doing business with this place. They knock many other business prices out the ball park, always take extra care when dealing with my car(my car is lowered and has slightly stretched tires so they take in consideration great caution on that end), and they are always honest. I can't think of another place around here I would rather condone business with that Tirezone. Even when I talk to the mechanics they are real informative and complement the correct things I have done to my car to maintain good tire tread and lowering standards. 5 starts. Yokohama tires have not failed me yet considering I total 20k miles a year. Overall, the owner honored my request for two new tires and an alignment as well.
