Arrived at tirebiters on Saturday July 2nd at 2:30 ordered wings, a chicken wrap and a burger. It took one hour to get the food.The wings were delicious. the burger was average and the wrap was horrible. The service was lousy. Not once in an hour did the waitress make it back to check on us. My husband and I enjoy coming to Tirebiters when we are at the lake. We enjoy the philly and the burgers! Jada has been our bartender the last several times and always gives the best service! This place is a hit or miss. If you see too many cars/bikes, don't bother going in unless you want to sit at the bar drinking and don't mind a lot of smoke. Both times I have eaten here I have noticed there is only 1-2 waiters who also tend the bar. I don't know why the owners of this restaurant don't hire more staff for the busy summer months but when the place gets packed on a Saturday night don't expect fast service or lots of refills. The food is also a hit or miss but the burgers are great when cooked right. The fries are always good but get cold pretty fast. I'd recommend coming to this place for lunch or during the week when there aren't many people, otherwise you will wait a long time to order, get your food, get the check, and even more time to get your credit card back if you pay that way. read more

Our waitress Jill was amazing! Under new ownership too. Went for the Wednesday night steak special for $10. Baked beans and baked potato were really good. The steak looked down on the outside but totally raw inside. We asked for medium well. The waitress took our steaks back to cook more. When we got steak back one was medium the other was almost medium. I took mine to the cook who was behind the bar. I asked for well done in hopes it would be cooked all the way. She didn't apologize but instead gave a dirty look!!! When it came back this time it was medium well. Although our waitress was amazing the cook lady had an attitude. We visited recently and the special was steak. Was very good with baked potato, salad and toast for very reasonable price. They have now a separate area for smokers. They are still inside but better than it used to be. Wasn't too many smokers that evening so was an enjoyable meal. Restaurant owners need to realize most tourist are coming from places that do not allow smoking even in the bar areas and expect the same here. Food was awesome. Took my one year old there and it's not the MOST kid friendly but for lunch or early dinner it is okay for kids. Get the potato salad. You won't regret it. Arrived about 1:15, lunch special was supposed to be a French Dip, waitress said they only had one left, I let the wife have it and I ordered a burger. The wife's french dip was literally a hamburger patty on a French Dip roll. My burger tasted like it was cooked on a burnt dirty grill. I tasted the French Dip and it was the same as my burger. Not sure why they would do this, they cost the same. Waitress never came by to ask about anything. French fries were Luke warm at best. We came here with a group of 12 ppl from Chicago for 4th of July weekend. It is rainy so we looked this place up since it was the closest bar to our Condo. We walked in and grabbed a corner spot by the pool table and an older lady came over to take our drink order which we each separated our tabs from the beginning so there would be no confusion. After her very poor attitude and her inability to produce even a bottled beer within twenty minutes we opted to leave. We also tried to order some appetizers but she blatantly stated she wasn't taking food orders...however others were being served. She had since served three tables and cleared another. Only 6 other people were in the entire place. If I could give this place and specifically the waitress/bartender a ZERO I would. Every bar we have been to we have had a minimum $600 tab between us. She lost out only because she was completely rude and incompetent. read more

We try to eat here every time we visit the area. My wife loves the burgers and fresh made chips. I like their prime rib sandwiches and fresh fries. Kids love the pizza. Only negative thing is that the whole building is smoking, so we always try finding the furthest away table from the smokers. We have only visited during lunch hours. read more
