Dont buy from this place!! They send out tires with holes in them and are no help when you call about the problem. Manager Julio is a complete jerk, probably because they get so many complaints. Im out the tire + cost to mount and balance and have no idea when it will be resolved. Tire came quickly, looks great, had it mounted and it has a slow leak. Looses 10 pounds of air overnight setting off the low pressure indicator light. Leak can not be found by the tire installer (major chain), but they dismounted and remounted with extra care and supplies. I will see if that solves the issue and chalk it up to fault installation. read more

I tried purchasing through their ebay sight and get price match. The price match I sent was another used tire dealer and a spot on match tire.they give bogus reason why they can't match. When I advised their sight said nothing of their reasoning I got a different reason then they blocked me from any purchased from them. Found their website and got them anyway but paid full price. Ordered a tire from them on E bay stating that the tire has 7-8/32. After a week for them to ship, it finally arrived. Me being a machinist the tire didn't look like anything close to 8/32 like my other tires I'm trying to match. Pulled out the depth micrometer, sure enough the maximum I could find was 6/32 and with uneven wear the other side was down to 5/32. I ordered 2 Continental DW 265/35R19 tires for my car from their online website. I found that using the search widget was the quickest. It let me find the brand I wanted and showed me options. I found 2 that had 9-10/32 tread life remaining and bought them. I paid with a credit card and it was easy with no problems. After doing some research on this company I decided to purchase 4 tires ( Goodyear Eagle RS-A 245/55/R18 ) with 7-8 32th treading. After having them balanced and mounted ,I and the mechanic noticed that 1 tire had a small sidewall gash and 1 tire had to be patched because it had a small hole in it that caused it to have a slow leak. I tried to call the company 5 times throughout the day and could not get to speak to an associate.I am not even going to bother sending them back because they won't even answer the phone so I know that their going to give me problems trying to return them. I told 15 coworkers not to even bother ordering from this company. I should've listened to my subconscious and ordered brand new tires.$ 175 for 4 tires... $35 to patch a tire.... $170 plus tax,mounting fee for a new tire to replace the tire with the sidewall gash. Extremely disappointed by the company's misleading practices and lack of care!!! A few months ago I used the online tool to purchase run flat tires for my BMW. Once I entered my make, model, trim etc the tool gave me a list of tires specifically for my vehicle so I purchased two. This week I went to return my lease BMW to the dealership only to find out that they don't want to accept my car as is because the tires I put on were not for my vehicle as they are not run flat. Now I'm facing hefty fees or purchasing new tires again. Needless to say I was extremely upset because the tires I purchased from bestusedtires are supposed to be for my vehicle and called the company. Shockingly the supervisor said he knows BMW comes standard with run flat tires and there is no spare tire in the vehicle and admits the tires I bought are not run flat and I may have not known that because certain manufacturers do not put that in the description but too bad apparently the company has a disclaimer and the online tool shouldn't be relied on even when you enter all your vehicle information. Also since it's been more than 90 days from the purchase they have no obligation to do anything. So how is this not fraud when they know they should have sold me only run flat tires but they didn't? What's even worse is that they've put my life in danger and continue to put my life in danger on the road and not even care to remedy this situation!! I receive my tires and they fell on slightly short of the tread depth noted in the discription of 8-9/32. The center of the tires were in fact right at 8 as I moved sides they were slightly under 8 at around 7.8. Also three of the tires had been repaired within the repairable area of the tread. which was clearly stated that this could happen. Shipping was free and took less than a week assume! Over all I'm rating this as a 3.5 because tires weren't quite where they should have been. The price was very good for the type and brand of tires. I would use them again. read more

Bought a tire on eBay, had a plain as day nail in it but it didn't go through. I contacted VYC about the nail with a photo and mentioned the nail did not go through but was willing to get the tire mounted. I had the tire mounted for $10 (paid cash), guy calls me over, you can see the air leaking out from the edge of the tread. Took another picture. I told the installer I was going to send the tire back and it was $10 to find out I had a leaking non-repairable tire. Was told I needed a receipt to get the $10 back. Installer left the nail in the tire (thankfully). Did a 'Return Request on eBay, had to ask twice. Seller violated eBay policy by wanting to send the label to my personal email they picked off of the PayPal transaction. Finally received the label. Tire was delivered on 2/4/16. Contacted on 2/5/16 via eBay, no response. Opened a Case. I finally received my refund automatically on 2/6/16. Update: VYC send me $20 for the mounting and trouble. I bumped the star rating from 1 to 2 stars. VYC seriously needs to AIR TEST every tire like they claim on eBay. The responsiveness needs help as well. Sucks that the tire looked so good. read more

I was going to buy from them the used Michelin for $71.99.After I found out Info from them: "Please note: Tires for sale are USED and some had been professionally repaired", I decided to ask them: -"Had this tire been professionally repaired?Thanks." And received answer: -"Sorry we do not keep records of which specific tires have repaired or not...We do patch repairs if needed..." After that I called them at: (866)4808477 and tried to find out repaired or not my tire. Manager Julio (was not so friendly) asked me my name on ebay and promised to write the answer.Next day I received from him: -"Please see previous answer." After that I decided to buy the tire(what will be-will be).But I could not.They blocked me on ebay.com.When I clicked "Buy it now" I could see "Seller not accepting your bid". I called them again and asked why they blocked me on ebay and do not let me to buy the tire.Julio told me that they are afraid of my bad Feedback and if I want to buy the tire I can do that through their website(bestusedtires.com) or by phone only.I asked again let me buy through ebay.com but he told me that it is not possible(because the owner does not want it).I told to him that in anyway I'll find the way to buy the tire and will write a feedback on ebay.After that (in a few minutes) they canceled the lot with my tire ("This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."). But in a few hours I can see the same(!) tire but with different "tire#",item number and the price became-$99.99 A little bit later they changed the price for $84.99 That is the story... I asked for some guidance on all season tires that had good snow traction and low noise. She steered me to 4 michelins 329.00 plus 52.00 install which I thought was a decent price for 7/32 tread depth. I waited about 15 minutes and the workers brought up the four tires. I quickly noticed two or the four were just patched. I understood that there was a possibility of this happening, but didn't think it would be two out of the four. I went in and kindly asked if I could get four different tires (the ones I originally wanted), and she said, " we don't have enough manpower to keep pulling and checking tires." Ok. You sell tires, but you can't bring up a better set? No. After contemplating whether to buy or drive back home 1.5 hours without tires I decided to ask one more time.... I would like to buy a different set of tires. She said that's not possible. So I said you would rather not sell any tires as opposed to grabbing me four different tires/brand? She said, unfortunately we can't keep licking tires. I asked if I could talk to someone else. The manager/owner or so beige that acted like a manger said, "unfortunately she is correct." A reputable Used Tire dealer owes it to his customers to provide the DOT DATE CODE for every tire they offer for sale AND state whether the tire has been punctured and repaired. But even THAT is ultimately not enough to ensure safety, since a buyer has no idea how a used tire was maintained. Was it run with low air pressure and overheated? Did it hit curbs? No sir, without AT MINIMUM the DOT Date Code and a money back guarantee that a tire has not been punctured and repaired, used tire buyers are gambling with their safety and the lives of their passengers. One if the tires had a second hole that was not repaired and lost all air within an hour. The other plug stem makes a loud squeaking sound when driving, kind of sounds like a duck quacks on each rotation. I had low expectations, and this company couldn't even reach those. Beware! Best Used Tires return policy is great if you were buying shoes (just return them for a refund). This hardly works for tires. If the tires are installed and then you discover an issue (like I did) they will only refund the $ once you send the tires back. Problem: 1) Cost of intall and un-intall 2)shipping 3) and the biggest problem is what do you do for tires on your vehicle while you wait for the return? Julio at Best Used Tires offered no solution. I purchased two tires on 4/17/16 with a coupon code at what seemed to be a reasonable price for used tires. The company charged my credit card, sent me an email stating my tires were shipped and provided me with a tracking number. My Shipping Confirmation and Order Number #422862. I received an email two days later that unfortunately there was a problem with my order and it had been cancelled. I checked the charges on my credit card and noticed the company had received payment and there was no return of my $350 payment. After speaking with a representative, they stated they failed to remove the charges and were unable to ship the tires I had purchased. I'm sure they sold elsewhere for a bigger profit and no shipping charges. Whatever the reason, the representative was definitely no customer service orientated and this is a company that should not be trusted for online purchases.
