Went in for an oil change and tire rotation 1 1/2 weeks ago. Without asking, they gave me a quote for over $1,000 worth of maintenance work they suggested. No mention of needing tires. I go today to get a flat repair and the salesperson lied and said my tire was too worn for repair so I needed to buy a new tire. Weird since my tires were fine less than 2 weeks ago. The tread was above the wear bar but the dishonest guy tried to convince me otherwise. I go to a reputable tire shop and they fixed my flat and noted that my tire was 3/32 tread depth which is still in drivable condition. Could be just a scamming employee trying to con a vulnerable woman or could be how tires plus operates. Either way, I will never use them again. read more

My daughter-in-law's car had a flat tire, and her car was a couple miles away from Tires Plus. Steve, the Service Manager, was extremely kind. He drove with me to see if the tire could be made drivable and then get to their location. It was not. He identified the tire needed and we purchased it, then he went back to her car and replaced the tire there! He made a stressful situation, manageable! Above and Beyond Service!!!! read more

I broke down and had to replace a tire, so I replaced all 4. I have an MB s430. The Firestone tires weren't a good match so I called the following day to ask that they be upgraded to Michelin. I was told $330 difference. I told them to order them. I called and scheduled an appt. When I drove 30 miles to the appointment the counter guy (Brandon I think) acted as if there wasn't any qappt at 1:00 pm. After waiting an hour and a half he hands me a bill for $521.39. When I asked him what happened to the price. I was told that the price he currently had was correct and that I was wrong. He said there was $80 in labor and $24 to dispose of the new tires he was resaling. I called back and was told they would refund $24 since it was a 90-day swap out. Every time I have come to this place the counter guy ignores me and then says, give me a minute as he stares into the computer. Ohhh. On their paperwork, there is a section I don't remember signing that says, "I acknowledge notice and oral approval of a change in the original estimated price." I called, guess they bait and switch people all day every day since it is built into their paperwork. I will be looking into filing a complaint with BBB for their bait-and-switch tactics. Needed 1 tire that was not in stock, so they ordered. Paid a $50 deposit and waited. The tire was sent to the wrong place, so was delayed a week. In the meantime, found a much better price. When I went back to get my deposit back, the manager would not return - claimed it was for "freight charge." NEVER mentioned this before. So, they took my $50 for nothing. UPDATE TO ADD THAT the day after I left this review, a rep from TP called and said they decided to refund the $50. I told them that while I understand that a fee might apply, it should be clear in writing and that $50 seemed excessive, but I do appreciate the refund. read more

Tire rotation and an oil change for $43. That go me right in without a wait. I had a $20 coupon do to poor service at another company but that place said I would need to schedule my oil change another day. Tires Plus beat that price. read more

Ordered tires , they said they would call when tires arrived . They never called I called them , I asked why didn't you call like promised .SMDH then paid for a wheel alignment they claim machine is broken . But it will be fixed when you get here . I get here he says it's still broken . Common since would be to send me to another location that has a working one If he sees the alignment is bad and I paid for it . Do not use this location if you don't have to... Been coming here for a year with four vehicles that I own and the service has gotten progressively worse. Today I come in for a simple oil change and tire rotation and they somehow forget to do the tire rotation after waiting for over an hour. Then over charges me for the oil change... Hands me a card for a free oil change for the next time I come in for his inept service and lack of attention to detail. Young kid behind the counter tells me oh it's OK they can go another oil change before they're done... Yeah OK kiddo. I didn't spend $2000 on tires to not have them rotated when they're specifically supposed to every 5000 miles. I'm done here and I suggest you don't go there either. They do a good job...when they get to it . This location is severely understaffed. I went to get an oil change at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday. 20 min service right? They wanted me to leave my car overnight. Normally I do go in the morning and they always make me wait 3-4 hours. I took my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid into this location on 9/4/2019 for a oil change and transmission service. I had been taking my vehicle to this location 8 yrs and they had all my service records that they had done on my vehicle. I was told that they would not service my vehicle because it was too old. Great service - reasonable prices. Had to get some emergent work done - they fit me in and performed quality work. On the way over the tow truck driver said they had good mechanics (just a coincidental statement because he didn't know that was going there). Definitely turned out to be true. read more

I took my suv to tires plus on 11/22 and specifically told them my front tire was losing air. The super nice front desk associate told me it was because of the cold weather and offered to fill my tires, i explained it was only the front losing air but he was adamant that it was the weather so i accepted the air and left. I then went back to the same location on 12/12 and once again stated the front tire was losing air and insisted they take the wheel off and look. After 20 minutes they rolled my wheel out to me and said they couldn't find anything and that it was the weather, i insisted once again they check so they took it back and came out 15 minutes later saying they found a nail and a surface slit (which was very visible when they showed me the second time) i think the tire guy put it there unfortunately. The tire guy said he would remove the nail and the slit wasn't a big deal. I trusted they did the repair, and since they said it was no cost i offered to pay for their lunch. The next day i again inspected my tire and what do you know, the same nail was still there in my tire in the same spot! They did nothing but waste my time and took my lunch money They are nice but have no idea what they are doing, take your vehicle somewhere else!!! read more

I will never use this business again. I bought approximately $2000 worth of tires and service including a lifetime alignment service. I called today and spoke with Cristina (NEVER believe what comes out of her mouth). She said no problem, I can rotate your tires and do an alignment today no problem. (Lie #1) Then I called around 3:30 to check on progress and she said we are pulling it into the shop as we speak (Lie #2). The car never moved from where I parked it. Then she told me she and 1 other guy only were working in the back only (Lie 3). She was still working the desk with customers who came in AFTER me. If they are not taking your money that day, you will not get service. I would never go there again and whatever you do, don't by any extended services!!! Went to Tire Plus Epps Bridge in Athens Ga. I Arrived @12:41 pm to purchase 4tires and check Alaignment which I requested after the check was done. Ok let me get to the worst of the worst. Upon giving my keys to the technician I informed the manager and the tech before entering my vehicle not to let the drivers side window down. They thanked me for letting them know. Next. About 1hr to 1 hr and 1/2 later I asked the technician how long of a wait will there be as my vehicle was still parked where I parked it. The technician stated there were 2 cars ahead of me and that it would be quite a wait at 2:20, and they close at 5:00. I chose to wait verses calling someone to pick me up. Now the worst of the worst... 4:34 the tech completed my transaction I paid and went out to get in my vehicle and the technician informed me that my window wouldn't come up and I totally unload on their A$$es and proceeded to let them now I will never patronize them again. This is my 2 set of tires I've purchased from this location and my last. That's not it...After unloading on their A$$es I get in my vehicle to leave and low and behold on my front seat is my wheel cap laying in the passengers seat which was broken during the Alaignment or the installation of the tires my cap on the alloy wheel. Now I'm livid and I let the manager and the technician know I am not a satisfied customer and I want my vehicle exactly the way it was when I brought it there. The manager agreed with me and asked me to let their technician get the window back up. On the or their hand, he tried me with attempting to place the cap on the wheel even tho I told him it was broken and that I wasn't informed that they broke it and placed it on my passenger side seat. The manager said he'd take responsibility for the cap because it was damaged there and he'd replace it. It was a long day and to sum it up and make this long story short. I checked the reviews which were mostly negative and believable. DO NOT I-REPEAT DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The manager gloated about serving 52 customers with only 6 technician minus 3 that weren't there...How many of us are satisfied and received the quality service and customer service that our hard earned money paid for and each and everyone of us deserve. Horrible. I came in to get a simple oil change. I drive a domestic car that takes run of the mill oil. I first stood in line as the ONE employee struggled to check others in. Once I was finally helped, I then waited OVER an hour - in a hot and uncomfortable waiting room. As I see my car is driven to the front of the building (meaning that it is finished) I expect I will be check out momentarily. No! The workers proceed to talk and not come to the front to let me pay and leave. After waiting over 15 minutes staring at my finished car, I stood up and waiting at the front desk needing to be helped. EVENTUALLY, I was serviced. After declining their upselling advances MULTIPLE times (such as saying my tires need replacement - they don't - and some Tires Plus card??) I was finally prompted to pay. I had to ASK for the price of my service as he was not upfront and honest about the cost. I was SHOCKED. EXTREMELY expensive and over charged. I then new I was ripped off and taken advantage of. I then had to ASK for my invoice to be printed, as he was perfectly fine with letting me walk off and pay over double the amount I should have. Luckily, I have worked at an auto shop before and automatically knew what had been done. My car does NOT need the premium oil as was charged and this was no simple mistake. I immidiately called my old boss (at the auto shop) and told him of this. He called RIGHT away. The manager, Ronnie, proceeded to admit he was wrong and overpriced me completely. Got totally screwed over. They said I needed a fuel pump, but only put a fuel filter in. Then the fuel pump burnt a plate by it and they had to do a fuel pump and the plate. They wired it wrong and had to take it to a Nissan dealership to get it fixed for their incorect wiring. and they claim they did NOTHING wrong. Please, I;'m out $2000 for what should have been $360. Tires Plus charged +$500 for a brake job that left us with no parking brake, squealing front brakes, and noisy, SMOKING rear brakes!!! They repeatedly told us the brakes were safe & the noise normal & REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!! TIRES PLUS Mgr Randall Randy Nowlen, HUNG UP ON US when we called with a brake inspection report from an Honest Competitor. The second opinion from an HONEST repair shop showed all 4 brakes needed work & brakes were so bad car was UNSAFE to drive. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Made an appointment for a tire rotation and alignment check. Also advised them that my tire pressure light was on and asked them to check for any leaks, nails, etc. Upon checkout, I was told that there was nothing in my tires and that they reset the light. Later that evening, my tire pressure light came on again. The next morning, I took it to the dealership and had them check the sensors to make sure they weren't bad. They found a nail in one of my tires, that had obviously been there the previous day. I called tires plus and told them what happened and the service manager said "and what do you want me to do about it? I wasn't there, that day." He pulled my ticket and said that I only asked them to reset the tire pressure light. Now why would I just ask them to reset a light that is obviously on for a reason? His lack of empathy for the situation is disturbing. I'm a loyal tires plus customer but I will NEVER return to this location. read more
