One star is not for their "stellar" customer service, but for the culmination of all the above. It's the weekend, I understand there is a long wait. Comes with getting your car worked on at that time. But when all I need is a nail taken out of my tire, have it plugged, and I wait there 5+ hours just to have them tell me that they cannot take the lugs off a brand new Dodge Challenger. Tires plus is now a tires minus for me. I took my truck there for repairs to pass my emissions. (Of course they told me I needed tires.) After paying almost $1,000 for parts and labor the next day the same issue started again. I took it back to them and they worked on it again. They told me it was fixed, it wasn't. The next day my engine light come on again. They looked at my truck a third time and told me to take it to the dealer to get a diagnostic report so that they could figure out what was wrong. They told me they would pay for it. I got the diagnostic and after sharing it with them I was told to let the dealership do the work and they would pay for it. They then gave me $95 for the Dealer's diagnostic. Nothing for the additional $400 I had to pay for the repairs or for all the money and time I wasted taking my truck to them. To begin with. The staff was friendly great etc... But, that alone isn't enough for me to recommend or ever return to this shop. (Which is sad because they are in a great location for me.) maybe they should be just tires. read more

I have a Volkswagen 2014 Jetta and my car came in perfectly fine and all I needed was an oil change. Come to find out, my car ends up having a severe leak about a month later. Out of the blue my check engine light and battery light came on and my car cut off. Apparently, due to the Dipstick Oil Pump being tampered with, it has been causing a leak to the point where the leak got into my belt and caused my belt to slip off which completely caused my car to shut off. To get EVERYTHING fixed and changed out and a new oil change, it has cost me $500.00 + $80 uber + $60 of me having to keep adding oil to my car. Of course they will not take responsibility for the damage they caused. Avoid this Tires Plus. I will never get anything else serviced here again. read more

I purchased the set of four tires from the Cascade location around the beginning of the pandemic. Ended up with a slow leak in one tire; took it in and it was repaired with no problem, no charge. Now, because of COVID-19, I've been able to telework, so most of the mileage on my car has been local travel; no long-distance trips. Fast forward to Saturday, 7/16/22. I ended up with a leak in a different tire. After doing the air fill-up for a couple of weeks, I decided to go back to Tires Plus-Cascade because I was happy with their previous work. Got there before they opened. There were customers in line before me; no problem (I wasn't early enough). I told the service manager my problem, he gave me an ETA, and I sat in the waiting room. (Ironically enough, after reading some of the reviews posted, the store manager & a customer got into a shouting match about a 'bent tire rod' that the man said didn't exist before his car was serviced. I should have taken this as a sign!) After about 1.5 hours, the store manager called me to the front desk. He told me his service person determined I needed 4 NEW TIRES & AN ALIGNMENT! I'm no expert, but the tread on ALL of my tires were fine. I asked, "But was he able to fix the fire?" He went back to the garage, returned and said the guy told him no; I think because it wasn't enough tread. They wanted to upgrade my service from a $29.95 (+ tax) tire repair to $1,100.00+ in new tires and service. I kept my cool, and told him, "Just have him put air in the tire and that's it!" Which he did, at no charge. Talk about BAIT AND SWITCH! I don't possess a lot of manual dexterity, but I AIN'T STUPID. But THERE'S MORE. I took my car to a little tire repair place up the street from my house run by some African brothers. Moral of the story: they were able to repair the tire; when asked if there was any problem to do the repair (because if it turned out TIRES PLUS was correct, I was ready to buy a replacement) and was told no problem, paid them $20 cash and was on my way in less than an hour. I hate that I got crummy service from TIRES PLUS because it's run (perhaps not owned) by my people in my neighborhood. I didn't want my experience to turn into a cliche', but it seems like it has. This is the slowest & worst tire shop I have ever been to. I was forced to come here by default because I had a fast air leak due to a nail puncture & the tire repair couldn't hold for me to get to my regular tire shop. I had AAA put air in it & then follow me up the street to the shop. So I get here & the guy tells me it'll be 2 hours. So I said I'll take an Uber back to my house & come back later. I asked for a ETA & he said there was 1 in front of me & it be another half hour. An HOUR goes by & I'm thinking I'm done, but nope! He still hasn't fixed the car. I'm pissed because I could have gone home & gotten some work done. But listening to his inaccurate time frames, I wasted 2 hours of my life for a stupid patch. Lesson learned: I should have just put the spare on instead, but thought this would be quicker. The front desk service guy is a wiseazz too... who needs a smart-aleck in addition to SLOW service? I will NEVER patronize this place or chain for that matter ever again. read more

Horrible service, I brought in my car around 3 pm with what I thought was a leaky hose on the coolant reservoir. A service rep comes out to the parking lot, glances at the part for .5 seconds and says a piece is completely broken and the entire part needs replacement. I inform him I live about 100 miles away and that this car is the only way for me to get home and I really need it looked at and fixed that same day. He goes on to say no problem, it'll be about a 30 min fix. I get having to wait for the previous cars that have been brought in to be serviced, but 2 hours goes by before they even LOOK at the car, about 2 hours before closing. Other customers in the waiting area who were only getting tires changed were receiving frequent updates (any problems, tire's preferences, etc) before they finished working on their vehicles and no one wanted to update me on the progress of my car. 45 minutes later, they pull my car around the building as if they are going to give me the keys to leave. A mechanic calls me out to the car then informs me that there's further issues with the pulley, but told me they wouldn't order it until they took a closer look the next day. I asked if they could recommend a tow or another shop that may be open that I could try. These two idiot mechanics look at each other, shrugged their shoulders and walked away without saying a word more, essentially stranding me there after they've made me wait over 3 hours for an overcharged fix that didn't even solve the previous issue. I eventually found a tow company after 4 hours that picked me up and drove the vehicle 100 miles back to the town where I reside in, arriving at 3:30 AM. Almost 13 hours after I brought the car in, I was FINALLY home with my vehicle in no better condition than it was to begin with when I arrived at Tiresplus. The only reason I even had to stop at this crooked establishment was because my car would've blown up if it were driven any further. I understand shops need to charge extra for parts in order to make money, but a $15 part cost me $120, not counting the extra $150 charged for 30 minutes of "hard labor". They are predatory and will take advantage of your current misfortune and desperation while lining their pocket. If you find yourself in need and these clowns are your only option, get the bare minimum needed to get your vehicle running and get it to another service. I long for the day this location either purges the staff or closes down completely. Truly a pathetic excuse of a business. read more

I went in because i heard a noise in my front passenger wheel and came out with a nightmare. They left 3 of my lug nuts loose. I could have killed myself or someone else. I love this place! As soon as I walked in (I had an appointment), they took my car immediately to the back to replace the tires! The price I actually paid for my tires were cheaper than my quote! I was told I would be out in 2 hours and I was out in exactly 2 hours! They also showed me other problems with my car and recommended if I don't get it fixed there, to go somewhere whenever I get a chance! They were extremely nice and resourceful! Customer service is key to run a great business. Now although the people are nice that work here they do not know how to manage a good customer transaction. I recently brought new tires with the insurance covered and now I have a slow leak in one tire. Certain things should take precedence over other things. I have to wait 2 hours for a 5 minute patch up job. The terrible manager in charge did not see the dilemma. Why have a customer you know clearly is a 5 min job and take care of a customer that's getting full service that will take over an hour ahead? This is self explanatory. I even called in to assure a place for me and was told the wait was a half hour by Aaron. I get there in 15 mins and the wait is still a half hour. Not a happy customer. I normally don't do reviews but today is a must. I checked in at almost 8:30 and I am still here at 10:21 for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake inspection. I decided to ask for an update at 10 since nobody bothered to give me one. I am told it could be another 30-40 minutes before the tech gets to you, but if you just want an oil change I can get you out sooner, now I'm not one to complain about this type of thing, but surely someone could haven told me upon checking in that it would be a wait of more than an hour before they could think about looking at my car or at least come out and give me an update because I had been waiting almost two hours. I just sat here for two hours (even though the cashier told me an hour) for a basic oil change only for them to tell me that I they couldn't do the change because of an oil leak. I could have sworn that if you are you are telling a customer that there is something wrong with their car, you explain it; location, possible cause, etc. These morons never said where the leak was, what may have caused it or anything. So I ask the guy why no one bothered to take the time and show me while my car was on the rack. The guy just shrugged and thought his answer of "I don't know, I just got here" was sufficient or acceptable. I ended up turning right back around and requested they put my car back on the rack and show me this "leak"....despite no oil being in my driveway where my car is always parked. If you can't even provide basic customer service, what else are you incapable of....well I won't be returning to find out! read more

I am an African-American who lived in Cobb county for over thirty years (doing business in that area). For the last eleven years (since getting married) I've lived in Southwest Atlanta. WHAT A CHANGE! I needed tires and a front-end alignment, so I went to your facility (where my present wife had bought tires - before I married her#, and the first thing that I discovered is your asking price per tire versus what I had seen on the internet, and what I had quoted from my Cobb county service people. #$211.99/tire compared to $146.99 = A $65.00 per tire difference !!!! FOR THE EXACT SAME TIRE!# I asked if you would match their price, which you agreed to do, so I bought the tires from you. But when you went to do the front-end alignment, you said that I needed a Tie Rod Assembly, and that would cost me an additional $375.98. WHAT KIND OF FOOL DO YOU THINK PEOPLE ARE?? You were making up the difference in the tires plus some #Is that why your name is: TiresPlus = getting screwed#. Yesterday, I went back to my tire dealers in Marietta, had the front-end alignment done, had no need for a new Tie Rod Assembly #because I had them replaced in July of 2014), and spent $99.00 on the work. Where do you think I am going for future tires and service? Where do you think I AM NOT going? You've done yourself and black-businesses in general an injustice, and you've lost long time customers just to make a few dollars now. I will not return to this location I had a 10 o'clock appointment I arrived 30 minutes early and they did not get my car in until 11:15 Two customers that came in after me were bumped ahead of me, when I talk to the guy at the desk he lied and said there was no one who can service my car the time.
