My tires needed balanced so I was happy they could fit me in right after work. They quoted me $71. I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. They charged me over $90. After emailing me 3000 times after booking the appointment, I never received a receipt explaining the extra charge. When I got home I noticed my center caps were all bent in the same place. I called. The guy was rude and insulting. I brought the truck back, he took pictures, and said someone would be in touch. That never happened. I had to replace not only the center caps, but all my lugs because they used an impact (with no extension hence the dents) and rounded several of them off. A bear to remove. Well, only days later and the drama continues. Tonight, I stepped out of my truck and noted that the left front tire hub cap is missing off from the wheel. Obviously it was not reinstalled correctly as I bought this truck new in 2007 and have NEVER lost any wheel trim. Not happy, now the tire replacement is increased by $44.00 as I am forced to buy a replacement. I am now concerned if the lug nuts are torqued correctly...sheez. I got a free oil change and they were able to get the car pulled in within 20 minute. scheduled a full check up just dropped it off not more then an hour later they called for me too pick up. great front desk people and they are very open on what they need too do and if you might be wasting your money on. read more

I've been going to this tires Plus for about ten years I recently got a repair done and as I'm driving to work my hood came up and hit my windshield after waiting two months of not driving my vehicle they told me they wouldn't repair it . Had a nail in my tire and figured i'd take it in to a shop near me because i live in a town 40 mins away with my local being closed. Paid a high amount and turns out the patch was made terribly and started leaking as i started to drive off. woke up to go to work with my tire pretty much empty. ended up being late because i had to take it to my shop in town. they showed me the patch was practically falling off inside the tire. I RATE THIS SHOP 0-STARS. I had to pick 1 star to post this review. I was on my way to Colorado with my Family on Sunday Dec 26th and got a flat tire just outside Council Bluff, IA off of interstate 80. I called Tires Plus to check if they had the tire I needed in stock and they told me yes it will be $385 installed. I thought it was pretty expensive for 1 tire but at this point I needed a tire to continue on my trip. The gentleman on the phone said we close at 5pm. I responded not a problem I'm on my way. I ended up walking in the front door at 4:35pm. I walked up to the counter and spoke to the woman there and told her I was there to buy a tire and have it installed and she told me they could not do it because they close at 5pm. I told her it's only 4:35pm and the man I spoke to on the phone knew I was coming and purchasing a tire. She kept telling me well we can't help you. Go down the street maybe one of the other shops are open. I said can I talk to the man I spoke to on the phone earlier and she said no. Being of Mexican decent I felt I was being racially profiled by this woman. If your hours of business are 9am-5pm then you should service your customers until 5pm. Coming from Chicago this is one of my worst experiences I have ever had in a town in Iowa. If I never have to stop in this state ever again it will be to soon. read more

Front desk employee was rude, not at all friendly. Also, masks are required for customers, which I am in complete agreement with. But when you walk into front desk, said employee has NO mask...ridiculous. And we were told on the phone our oil change would cost $23 & some change. Upon arrival, we were told it would be $90+ because the vehicle mfr "requires" a certain grade/viscosity of oil be used....ummm...this is NOT our first oil change?? Never have paid that kind of money anywhere before! We left. Will not be back here, & certainly won't be getting an oil change here nor recommend this place to anyone. read more

I take 3 vehicles here, and I recently brought in my suv for an alignment, oil change, and tire repair. They called and told me my front shocks were worn and will need to be replaced. They claimed they could feel the front end bounce when checking my "alignment". I told them I will get that done later. I got my vehicle back, and not only did they not reset the psi in my tires, my steering wheel is shaking a lot (it didn't before) and my vehicle is violenty bouncing in the front as well as my front end is dipping down now. I called about 2 blocks away when I left, and they claimed they never touched anything with my shocks/struts, but it didn't stop them from giving me a "quote" on how much it would be to change them out. What they fail to realize is that I've had shocks go out on an old vehicle before so I know what to look for. Furthermore, I know the mechanic game of doing little things so you bring your vehicle back. I feel they not only tampered with my vehicle, lied to me about it, and assumed I'm like most who wouldn't know to question or realize when your vehicle has been changed in some way. I will never bring my vehicles back, and I caution others to do your research instead if always taking their word at face value. They're in the business to capitalize on lack of knowledge of customers, thus giving them the opportunity to "change or not complete" things on your vehicle so can get more money out of you. read more

Took my 04 Dodge Stratus to this location for new tires. Was told I also needed new struts and ball joints. Could not afford all work at once, so had new ball joints put on. Now 3 months later can afford new struts, but find out ball joints are attached to the new struts! They could have informed me of this 3 months ago! Wasted about $1000! Shame on them! The price is fair and competitive, I'll get that out of the way, so thank you for fair pricing. The workers are great, helpful and friendly, the manager is rude and borderline hostile unless you are there to spend $800. I called and asked what the wait time is for tire work, they said "there's no wait, we are ready to go come on in!" I arrived 10 minutes after the phone call and at that time there was one other customer but had to wait about 2 hours, so much for no wait time. A couple customers who got there after me were serviced before me. I inspected my rims after they got my tires done and there were deep gashes in the back side of the rims. This place is the worst. I couldn't believe this place is in the business of providing "customer service". To start, communication on the phone was short and unhelpful - the mechanic provided no indication of what was wrong or if the car was fixed and told us: "just look at the notes when you come in". Thanks for nothing. When we get in, the guy explaining the all sacred 'notes' to us calls in the mechanic and they are unsure of which fluids/areas they checked upon inspection. WHOOPS. Guess that makes are estimate questionable at best, and inaccurate at worst. Any and all communication with the employees here feels like you are inconveniencing them - really!? Not to mention the shit they try to upsell you on through the whole process. These types of shops are why certain mechanics get a bad name for duping less auto-savvy customers. I've owned several used cars and have worked with several mechanic shops - even using an expensive car dealership would be better than this dump, and just as expensive. read more

I have had a good experience here with regard to tire rotations/balancing after a tire purchase. Lots of places offer free rotations and balancing if you buy tires, but then have "difficulties" working you into the schedule. read more

This place is the best! They do not charge diagnostic tests and really take the time to find the source of issues. The mechanic even drove around in the car with me to get a better idea of the noise I was talking about and then fixed it for free. They have good prices and are super honest and easy to talk to. I got an oil change, tire rotation, free diagnoses of a scraping noise, and free part bend-back for under $50. read more

The manager was extremely nice and even though he had bad news he, directed me to someone else who could help and even had one of his guys remove the tire from the rim for free read more

Terrrible service. Over the past two and a half years, I have been a returning customer, have spent thousands of dollars in oil changes, and different repair services with this tires plus location but never again. I thought I might have been driving with a nail in one of my tires, I drove to this tires plus location. With all four bays open and 4 hours left before closing the manager simply would not even try to look at the tires on my car, which are covered under a road hazard warranty. This isn't the only time they have turned me away from their location this is about the fifth time in the past six months, and not the first time for a tire repair issue. I had a a radiator that needed replaced, and the service manager told me that nothing was wrong with the radiator. Three days later, the radiator was leaking and needed replaced. Today I found out that the four tires on my car even though the brand was the same, this tires plus location installed two separate model of tires on my car. "Stoney" the service manager, and the staff at this location should be held accountable for the poor service that they provide. Why, and how can they be trusted by anyone?
