I'm new to the area and was looking for a tire shop close to my residence. I got a flat tire, my AAA put on the donut, but my AWD wouldn't allow me to drive it. My car wouldn't recalibrate for my manufacturer's donut. I googled and noticed there was Tires Plus near the Stonecrest Mall area. I was able to make an appointment more quickly than expected and also be seen earlier than anticipated on the day of. I ordered a tire for $88 from Amazon and brought it to the shop because they didn't have my exact tire brand to match the 3 others. The manager was wonderful. He was transparent about the possibility that I may have to purchase 4 tires if the system rejects the $88 new tire because of the AWD. I knew there was a strong possibility he was right since I had issues with the donut. To make a long story short, I asked the manager for a quote for the new tires in the event I needed them. He found a reasonable price for a set if needed. However, I didn't need it. Thank God for honest people. They didn't scam me, and I was able to get my $88 tire mounted, and the system didn't reject it. I also upgraded to a lifetime wheel alignment. The service was under $300. Found my tires quickly and was able to get them the same day and installed. Quality Make sure to get the lifetime wheel alignment. I went in with a flat tire in a rental (because I do not live in this state) on my way to Atlanta airport to catch my flight back home and asked them to patch my tire! they told me it would be an hour wait! I would miss my flight if I waited that long! Then an employee asked if i just wanted to get the spare on because that would be quicker all to come back and say that's an hour wait as well! I'm really surprised to see the bad reviews here. Me and my bf both bring our cars here often. There's a lot of nails and potholes in this area so we need repairs and patches regularly. This location consistently has given us the lowest quoted price and a quick turn around time even for major fixes. If there's anything that's a quick and easy fix they will often include in the price of your inspection. read more

Throw the whole store away. I called the store and was greeted by a nice young lady. I asked her if they did oil changes on a certain type of vehicle and she said yes. She said, if you come in now, you will be next in line. I told her I couldn't and that I would schedule something online and she said ok. I went online and made the reservation with the make and model of the vehicle. Included contacted email and phone numbers. Mind you, I am coming from Riverdale. I get there only to be told, "Oh we can't find the type of oil this vehicle uses." So how can you say you service this type of vehicle if the information isn't even in your system? Do not go to this Tiresplus -- for that matter, none of them. For starters , my first visit was for a battery and brake caliber. Returned it for another one a month later. Two weeks later it was dead - returned got another one - same thing! Brake caliber installment - burst a couple of months after it was installed - faulty work or faulty parts, I am beginning to think BOTH!!! Ok, maybe they are only good with tires - hence the name. I went to purchase a tire after getting a metal place screw stuck in one of them. I was told with my car type, i will need to replace all 4 tires - so I did. 8 months later, a tire started losing air - returned to the store and was told a nail was in one of the tires. I had to buy another set of 4 (according to them the tread was too low on the others to just put on one new tire). Ok, so this lady bought another 4 tires. 7 months in on this 2nd set of new tires, I had a flat - this time it was glass. They tried to push 4 more new tires - again, because of the FORD ESCAPE that I drive. I said NO, put 2 new tires on the back and put the good tire in my trunk. That was Feb 2024. Today, March 20th, 2024, I am back at tiresplus because a tire was losing air, yet again! The attendant stated they will check it out for 9.99 - I said fine, just let me know what the problem is and show me the evidence. An hour and a half later, I get a telephone call (mind you, I am sitting in the freaking waiting room!) telling me my car is ready. What? What was wrong with the tire? Oh, it had a nail in it. Where is the nail? Threw it away...I told you to tell me what the problem was and show me the evidence. On top of that they patched the tire. I do not do patched tires - they are dangerous! I told him no, that is not acceptable. I asked that they pull the tire they put in my trunk a month ago and replace the tire with that one. He had the audacity to say they do not mount used tires! I bought the tires from you a month ago! I left and went and bought a new tire elsewhere. I only kept returning because I purchased the warranty - screw the warranty!! I dropped my car off to tires plus at 11:30 a.m. I asked the man behind the counter to call me please when work was completed. I looked on there website to see what time they closed, and it says they closed at 5. I called them to see if my car was ready and they said that it was. I asked the guy why didn't someone call me, he said and I quote I didn't write your paperwork up. When I went to cash out I saw fees and charges that I was not aware of. I asked the guy who cashing me out what was all these extra fees. He said he didn't know cause he didn't write me up. He then leaves and go and get the person who wrote up the ticket, and he says I don't know but I'll remove them from your bill. This is a clear deliberation of taking advantage of a woman. I was in a car accident at the beginning of February. The insurance company sent to Corzav's and then they sent my car to this location for an alignment. By the way you guys did a great job on my alignment. However, When I went to retrieve my car from Corzav's, I noticed quite a few things missing from my car. Customer service was terrible I didn't like the way that you got attitude from actually questioning about services on the vehicle that you brought in to spend money on. Outrageously long wait times spending the whole afternoon there to not get a service done. Run. Please don't waste your money here. Terrible place. I dropped my car off for an oil change at 8 am the guy at the front desk said it would be 2 hours at the most ( they open at 7am). I receive a call back at 12 am. He says my car will need a replacement rim I ask how long will it take, he says I'll give you a call back to let you know. 4 hours go by i call he says it'll be ready in an hour. An hour goes by he tells me they got the wrong replacement rim they will have the correct one tomorrow. My car literally sat there for hours for nothing. This tires plus is the most unprofessional one I've been seen. I believe the only reason they are still in business is because the next nearest car shop is 20-30 mins away. read more

Went to this location after returning from vacation to find a flat front tire on the car. I expected to need brake pads, so I asked them to check those as well. Of course, they hit me with the whole line of "you need roters front and back". I allowed the brake job and the new tire, which totaled $500. Less than a week later, my brakes began squealing very loudly. I go back to this location only to be told that I'd have to wait until the following day since they were short staffed. I was also advised that I could go to the Firestone if it was easier for me. Once at Firestone, they inform me that my brake pads & roters were "improperly done"; "I'm pretty sure that most of the brake parts are still sitting in the box that they came in". I have to go back (& miss work BTW) on Thursday to have a 2 HOUR brake job done since the clowns at Tires Plus basically rigged up my brakes. Very unhappy. read more

Evidently noone is reading these reviews, because if they were this store manager would be fired. At 1:44 pm, I brought my SUV in for an alignment at about 2:10 pm it was pulled in the shop. At 2:30 pm my daughter and I asked if our second vehicle could be aligned. Maron looked in his computer at his online schedule, then went into the shop; when he came back we were told they could align our second vehicle. Marlon stated there was only one car ahead of our second vehicle, it should be finished in about a hour. My daughter left in my SUV, but I sat in the store waiting area. At 4:00 pm I noticed they took a second car ahead of our car, I asked Pat and Marlon why wasn't he taking my car next. Marlon stated the other car had been there earlier, but left and came back. When I asked him was they going to service my car after that car, he stated there was yet another car that was scheduled online (Remember he had checked the computer earlier and told us there wasn't any other scheduled cars). I called my daughter on my cellphone, as I was telling her I was going to scheduled an online appointment on Wednesday to align the car; I could hear Marlon saying the store was booked from 7am to 9am on Wednesday. While my daughter was still on the phone; I explained to Marlon and Pat, that online the appointments were showing open. Pat stated as long as you schedule after 9am, I replied I had scheduled for 10 am. Marlon proceed to tell me he didn't care when I scheduled the appointment; that didn't mean they would fix my car at that scheduled time. I reminded him that he had just stated that the shop was only busy from 7am to 9am, I scheduled at 10am. Marlon became hostile stating he didn't care what he said, they wouldn't service my car until he got ready. He stated he was the manager and what he says goes. I asked Pat for my car keys, I stated it wasn't worth the hassle or getting upset over. Pat stated I could bring the car in Thursday morning; but before I could answer, Marlon snapped "Get upset. I want you to get upset, so I can throw you out." I stated, "This is not worth me getting upset". It took Pat a few minutes to find my keys; the entire time Marlon was threatening me and attempting to "upset me". Even when I asked him to stop talking to me, that I was just waiting for my keys so I could leave; He repeatedly stated, "I want you to get upset so I can throw you out. I am the manager I can do what I want." I was shocked that this man, with this behavior was the manager. He should be FIRED for an unprovoked physical assault threat on a customer in front of other customers and workers. read more

I had a car towed to Tires Plus on Mall Parkway in Lithonia, GA. It had several problems. After a free estimate, we decided to donate the car to Kars-for-Kids (a non-profit that auctions cars and uses the funds to benefit children). The Kars-for-Kids tow truck arrived to pick up the care. Terry Story at Tires Plus refused to release the car until we paid $170. He offered no reason for this charge. Tires Plus had performed no service except the free estimate. read more

No contact at all.I guess they think if the make a vague comment on a bad review other reviewers will think its taken care of. Just one more reason not to buy tires here. I did go to NTB after this debacle and bought a brand new set of coopers for the price of Tire Plus's low end chinese primewells. They were super nice and i had a great experience. I stopped in today, just to have my tires rotated and balanced -- no need to go the dealership for that. The gentleman who assisted me at the counter was friendly and efficient. They were fast; did what I needed and were reasonable. I gave a different counter person a note that the restroom needed tp and paper towels. He said okay, but no one went in to take care of it while I was there. Otherwise, the restroom was clean. The waiting area was comfortable. This is an okay place for minor adjustments to tires, or maybe an oil change. I prefer to purchase my tires at Sam's Club, though, and have other mechanical work done by the car shop I've been using for a while now, but I have to make an appointment with them. You can just walk into a Tires Plus, get whatever you need while you wait and be done. read more

If I could give them "0" stars I would. Dropped car at 2pm..they said it would be 2-2.5 hours, which is fine we walked over to the mall. We came back at 430 and they hadn't even touched it. Well they close at 5 so the grabbed the car at 440 came back out at 455 saying they don't have the key to unlock and we'll have to come back tomorrow when their manager is in. Well I gave them the key they were looking for, but still said we had to come tomorrow. Seriously complete waste of 3 hours! And they expect us to come back tomorrow?? I had an appointment setup for 3:00 no one seemed to locate the appointment in their system until someone actually looked a few minutes later. I waited an hour for an oil change. They are very slow. Got a nail in my tire today while I was driving from Snellville to Lithonia. It was making so much noise I felt that I had to do something about it immediately so I went to the closest tire shop which happened to be Tires Plus. I got there picked out some tires and they told me my car would be ready in about an hour and a half to two hours. It ended up taking three hours just to replace my two rear tires. In addition to that as I watched the technician try to take my car out of the garage I saw him stall at least seven times I actually had to get up out of my seat and see if everything was ok. The tech told me he hadn't driven a car with a manual transmission in almost 12 years. I don't understand why he would even lay his foot on my clutch if he hadn't driven a manual in that long, I have a German vehicle. But my final and biggest issue that I had with Tires Plus is that when I walked outside to my car I saw two decent sized dents on one of the rims on one of the tires that they had just changed. Not only did this establishment waste my time, they caused damage to my vehicle. From now on I will stick with Firestone Conyers where I can get the same tires that Tires Plus has for the same price but instead have my car handled by auto techs that are experienced and cautious. I will probably never step foot inside of Tires Plus @ Stonecrest ever again. read more

Story time! So I had my car towed there to have the tire looked at. They come back and say that I need a new tire and rim. So then the communication must have went south because the guy comes back and says "we are putting the spare on and we will put your old TIRE in a plastic bag and put it in your car. I said is the TIRE destroyed. He says yes. I said why do I need it...just throw THE TIRE away. This was after someone mentioned something about a tire pressure monitor being in the rim. So I assume they put the rim back in my car and throw the TIRE away. WRONG! I take my car elsewhere to be fixed only to find that they didn't put the rim back in my car, they threw it away along with the TIRE. So when I call to verify, the manager proceeds to argue with me about what I said and claims I told them to throw the entire thing away. He claims they didn't even separate the tire and rim. Now my question is how did you know I needed a new rim if you didn't remove the tire?There was no visible damage to the rim that I could see. So needless to say, they threw away a perfectly useable part because of ineffective communication. And made no attempt to make amends. Ridiculous. Wont be going there EVER again. read more

UPDATE: It's worth noting that I only got 3,000 miles out of my oil change here which wasn't how low between when I bought it even. I found that weird because at Just Brakes I had 5,000 between too. A coworker familiar with car work told me a lot of places like this will only give less than the oil that they should and not even top of your fluids (exactly). Agreed in not seeing how that charged me that extra $10 for a fault that they would make and said that I was probably played for being a female (LIKE SO MANY OTHER REVIEWS). Per said coworkers recommendation, I went to a dealer of my car brand and not only received excellent service and quality work (my car wasn't acting crazy as it had ONLY done after going here), but I have 6,000 between my next change. Quality service, quality oil and the same price! Actually $10 cheaper because they weren't trying to break things off and charge me for it! Advice: Try your car dealer for service first! I've waited a whole year to write this review just to gather facts first. I initially bought four new tires from this location 2 years ago. Always took my vehicle to my dealership for oil change being they make money so they wouldn't tell me wrong. Since I received 3 year tire rotation and/or alignment for purchasing the tires I took it here to get that done as well as an oil change. They called me and told me they couldn't do the oil change because my oil pan was "cracked" they told me they could do it but they told me if it is cracked it I can't get my vehicle back and would have to pay $400+ for the oil pan. This is the first time anything went wrong. Being frustrated I didn't do it because I wanted more opinions. I took it to 3 different companies that are not affiliated and explained what happened. All 3 inspected and all three told me nothing was wrong with it. Mind you I am a female. Beware ladies. It is a harsh reality but let a man take your vehicle for repairs. I'm so disappointed people keep adding things to get fixed to upsell. Tires plus really has some deceptive practices and I am not here for it. Hope this helps! I went to Tires Plus to have 2 tires replaced in October. I told the technician to move the front tires to the back and put the two new tires on the front of my car. I should have known that the job would be fouled up because the technician couldn't even correctly repeat back to me what I wanted done. I had to explain at least 3 times. I also needed an oil change and was advised by my husband to get the lower priced oil change but the technician lied and said that they had to give me the oil change that was more because that was what was recommended. I knew this was a lie because I get lower priced oil changes all the time at other establishments and my car runs well. Not wanting to argue, I agreed to the higher priced oil change. When I got home I noticed that the same tires were still on the front of my car and the new were placed on the back. Not sure if the technicians were incompetent or lazy. Both reasons suck!!! Not a big deal because I was going to replace the other tires in a month. But after 3 weeks my oil light came on and I still was supposed to have another 1500 miles left before the next oil change. I asked my husband to check my oil and it was low and dirty. I know that my oil was not changed. What a bunch of unethical crooks!!! Stay away from this place! It's a rip off!!! read more

I went in for their Manager's special which included an oil change, tire rotation, balance and alignment. After waiting for 2 hours when my car was finally ready I was informed that the rotation was not completed because my tires were too worn. My question then became, "Well what DID you do?" to which the reply was the alignment and balance. Upon starting my car the "low tire pressure" light came on (which it did not do prior to bringing my car here). I drove across the street and back to Tires Plus, at which time the gentleman took my car to the service (did something or nothing, IDK), brought the car back to me and stated that with newer cars that light stays on for a few minutes because it's so sensitive. After a day the light not only didn't go off, I awoke a day later with a flat back tire! I put air in the tire and the tire pressure light went off immediately, brought the car back to them and was told there was a nail in the tire that miraculously showed up during the time I brought my car in and a day later when I had a flat tire. They don't seem like bad guys, but I would NEVER take my car here again. read more

Terrible service. Please beware!!!! Took my vehicle in for a oil change. I mentioned I was due a free tire rotation because I bought tires there previously and that's what I was told. I was told they couldn't do the oil change becuase I had a serious oil leak...so of course no tire rotation. Took vehicle back next couple of days becuase it was running rough and leaking fluid. Of course I was told I needed MAJOR work done. I decided to take it somewhere else, had it pressure washed underneath and guess what... no LEAK was found, just build up from mud over the years. They did find a plug was loose underneath which had my transmission fluid leaking out which caused my vehicle to sputter and drag.(Hmmm wonder how that happened)??? It wasn't leaking and running bad when I first took it in. Also, Tire Plus added oil and over filled it...a lot!!! I had to have some of that drained out. Vehicle is now running great!!! Never again TIRE PLUS...NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more
